16/09/2024: A superb evening in a dream setting. The restaurant is ideally located in the historic city with the magnificent ramparts as a backdrop. We had a flawless meal from start to finish. Impeccable service with attentive staff, present but discreet. Each dish more tempting than the last. The only thing to improve is the exterior signage of the restaurant, we did not immediately understand that it was located in the city hotel.

15/09/2024: Always a wonderful experience, each time I visit Carcassonne I make sure to book in for lunch. This time I treated myself to dinner, which was as expected, magical dining.

17/08/2024: On vacation in Carcassonne, I spotted this business. As soon as you enter, we are dazzled by the beauty of the setting and then the view of these magnificent cakes only makes us want to sit down and taste them. We had brunch and were able to enjoy their culinary talent! Excellent ! I will be delighted to stop there again during my next stays. Go for it!

21/09/2024: Un pequeño restaurante en un barrio residencial de Carcasona. Reserva una mesa ya que es muy populista con los comensales locales. El menú de la pizarra cambia regularmente dependiendo de lo que es estacional. El menú de tres platos a 31 € es una buena relación calidad-precio para la comida de alta calidad. Buena selección de vinos a precios razonables. Las mesas exteriores en la zona de cubierta con luces centelleantes son agradables en una noche cálida. 28/08/2024: Nous cherchions un endroit où manger en rentrant du pays basque. Quel bonheur de nous être arrêtés. Le lieu est très beau décoré avec beaucoup de goût. La cuisine est encore plus belle que le lieu. Le patron très agréable. Foie gras cassoulet etc carte des vins exceptionnelle. Bref un endroit à ne pas rater. +++++++

14/09/2024: Manager allows himself an odious response which says a lot (in addition to not doing great cooking). I'll let you see it in a screenshot. Basically: the restaurants in Carcassone, I said, are obviously rated by people who know little about cooking and are not very particular about their food; therefore be wary of the very good Google averages which reflect correct establishments and nothing more.

03/09/2024: Basically, if the customers have children, I would tell you that they won't eat anything because there is only adult food. Girl, better go to a fast food restaurant. (After eating at this restaurant, I went to a fast food place because I was still hungry.) Well, in general, food in France is not that good, so it’s understandable that we weren’t very lucky. People who are vegetarian or vegan don’t have many options in this restaurant as there’s nothing for them. I don't know if drinking wine or some kind of soft drink in the middle of the service is very normal, or maybe it's typical in France Idk. I understand that you might be thirsty, but I’ve never seen this in any other restaurant I’ve visited. I think it shows a lack of respect towards customers. I personally wouldn’t go back because of the lack of variety, quantity, and service. What I can say is that the place was quiet, which is always a good thing.

10/12/2024: We reserved a table at the restaurant La Table de Marie for my partner's birthday and we were very satisfied. This restaurant is very nice, the cuisine is good and elaborate, the atmosphere is very pleasant. Congratulations to the team and thank you for this successful evening.

28/09/2024: If the dishes are up to the standard of telephone or on-site reception... you will eat cold, very cold. We were happy to discover this good address but we will move on. A smile, an appropriate and polite turn of phrase, would have made the difference

27/09/2024: In the middle of the fortress but peaceful and elegant, this small restaurant was a perfect surprise. The food was delicious, the staff polite and friendly.

30/11/2024: A discovery in Carcassonne for us. A very nice discovery where everything comes together ideally. From the welcome of the owner, to that of the staff, including the quality of the dishes (uniqueness, freshness, etc.) and an ambitious and tasteful decoration. In conclusion when we return to Carca we know where we will go to confess our sins. See you soon

07/12/2024: Pese a realizar una reserva con bastante antelación, el mismo día de la reserva y sólo porque les llamamos nos dijeron que no tenían sitio. Como recomendacion si aceptan reservas por apps al menos que respondan a los clientes

14/09/2024: Well a little confused and totally unimpressed; I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant on my trip to Carcassonne. We walked in at 19.30 on a Saturday night and asked for a table for three. The guy asked if I had a reservation and I said no; he then said reservations only and the restaurant was empty apart from one table of four….. So I’m totally confused and rather upset as it made no sense; the only thing I good think of is that they obviously don’t want tourists and it’s a place for the locals - shame on you Le Cathare it’s put a sour taste in my mouth now for the rest of my trip
