30/06/2026: Our experience in this boulangerie that I was expecting to be brief turned out to be a delightful 45min. The quality of the artisanal products they produce is beyond what we can usually find in France which is already a bar set quite high. They also have delicious specialties coming from a few eastern Europe family recipes. I dont recall the names but my taste buds will undoubtly remember this for quite some time. The baker is the mom of the family and she is also a talented artist painter, she has a few of her beautiful pieces displayed on the walls. A young woman, her daughter, is helping her mom with marketing, social media, and clients services. She is a smart, kind and passionate woman that was successful in getting my attention. So much so that I am taking the time to write here one of my very rare reviews. I could not recommend enough to go spend sometime in their boulangerie or at least spare a couple minutes to go grab a croissant, chocolatine etc... and let your taste buds enjoy a few minutes of deliciousnesssss 😋

09/08/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly special experience in the walled city of Carcassonne We dined at La Marquière during our visit to Carcassonne and were truly satisfied. The food was excellent, everything well prepared and carefully presented: we truly enjoyed our meal! But what made the evening even more enjoyable was the welcome: the staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel immediately at ease. We absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the walled city of Carcassonne looking for good, quality cuisine and attentive, friendly service. Congratulations to all the staff and thank you for a wonderful evening! ❤️

23/08/2026: An excellent spot in Carcassonne! César is a true enthusiast, with 25 years of experience behind the stove, and it shows from the very first bite. Always smiling, helpful, and attentive, he knows perfectly how to adapt to his customers' requests and requirements. The pizzas are generous, perfectly cooked, with expertly prepared dough and, above all, quality ingredients, including beautiful local produce. César is in high demand, and when you taste his pizzas, you quickly understand why! Despite the busy schedule, he always maintains his good humor and a commitment to satisfying every customer. A true pizzaiolo, just the way we like them: experience, expertise, quality, and a friendly atmosphere. A place I recommend without hesitation!

20/08/2026: Superb atmosphere and incredible brunch! The food is truly amazing, with a wide variety of choices, but my heart will always be set on the chicken poke bowl, which is so delicious! I will definitely never hesitate to return.

20/08/2026: A truly wonderful place that I've been going to for three years now, and I've never been disappointed! The food is absolutely excellent: everything is homemade, the portions are generous without being too heavy, and the food is always delicious. Special mention goes to the desserts and cakes, which are simply divine! I've never personally bought anything from the shop, even though they offer some lovely items and seem to have a very wide selection of coffees and teas. I highly recommend this place, whether for lunch or just to enjoy a good coffee or tea with a little something sweet!

03/09/2026: A great place to eat Tartines (large toasts) that are excellent quality and delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they speak Spanish, which makes things much easier. The brioche for dessert is spectacular.

01/09/2026: We had dinner here tonight and the food was delicious. We were told that it was all fresh and locally produced. I had the chicken from the specials board which just melted in your mouth. Desert was fabulous 👌 so pleased that we picked to eat here. The staff there extremely pleasant and went out of the way to explain the menu.

15/05/2026: A visit to the castle and ramparts is a must. Breathtaking views of the city, the surrounding area, and the ramparts! :-)

14/05/2026: The Cité de Carcassonne is a must-see every time I travel through the south of France. And if there's one thing you absolutely shouldn't miss, it's the fabulous Bastille Day fireworks display. I must have been back at least ten times, and the effect is always the same: majestic. The illuminated ramparts, the explosions that set the whole citadel ablaze, the atmosphere in the city… there's something truly unique about it. Even a simple two-hour break during a road trip is enough to be blown away by the sights. On the way to the Abbey of Saint-Martin du Canigou, it's the kind of stop that transforms a journey into a lasting memory. 500 meters before the paid parking lots, on the hill before descending into the citadel, a strip along the edge allows you to park for free. 5, 6 cars max.

26/08/2026: We had our last meal before going back to Northern Ireland and we picked a great place! The food was incredible and the hosts where very friendly and helpful. We brought our 2 children and my daughter said it was the best food she has had. We would definitely recommend this place.

25/08/2026: The staff are very attentive to customers, the food is delicious and high quality, and the prices are very competitive. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

21/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome and ordered four pizzas, which were delicious. However, we were bothered throughout the meal by cigarette smoke from the people sitting at the next table. Despite our attempts to explain that it was bothering us (I have asthma), they continued unabated, lighting cigarette after cigarette throughout the evening, with the smoke blowing directly in our direction. It was unbearable, especially since the canvas roof provided no ventilation. By the end of the meal, I had to put on my mask because the smoke was so thick I couldn't breathe. This is how a lack of respect and courtesy can ruin a meal. We will not be returning.

21/08/2026: Everything was delicious! The decor is fantastic, the servers are very welcoming and attentive, and the service is quick and efficient. Everything was perfect for a wonderful experience. A truly great find; we'll definitely make the trip from Narbonne again!

28/07/2026: Incredibly fresh, top-quality produce, especially the seafood and fish. Everything is expertly prepared, with excellent sauces and meticulous attention to detail. A relaxed atmosphere, good music, and impeccable service. A perfect 10!

06/08/2026: Disappointed! Communication problems with the service and too long a wait. We had a reservation for cassoulet at 8 pm and saw the beautiful casseroles go by, but when we wanted to order more, they were sold out, and the same was true for other dishes. We waited over 45 minutes for our food, which was served with dry pieces of bread, probably cut at lunchtime or the day before. The meat was good, and the fries were just cooked.

04/08/2026: The food was spectacular, the portions very generous, the staff very friendly, and the price is in line with the quantity and quality. The children's menu is very complete, and the portions are very generous. It's usually full, so reservations are recommended.
