18/11/2025: The owner is obnoxious, unprofessional, and unpleasant 🤮 in these comments. Who would explain why not mentioning a missing bottle on the bill would be incomprehensible for a biker (considering the price of Harleys!!)? However, the waitress "offered" digestifs, only to charge us up to €9 for them... left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we won't be going back. However, the food is good.

22/08/2025: A real precious gem. Out for one night in the labyrinth that is Alpe d’Huez, you want to experience something special, but be really comforted rather than shocked. Well presented, plentiful and delicious dishes. Lucky the waitress spoke some English, because our French was quite stretched by the Menu… Ordered a mix of steak and chips, plat du jour (chicken vol-au-vent), pasta, fish and chips and something different, which became my highlight as the mum who cooks at home and could use a break: the tataki de thon, now in my all-time top-2 dishes! Choice of desserts: mix of unusual and mainstream, just what you want for a special night. Welcoming host, the type of human you feel you could be friends with - not to be taken for granted in this day and age. Wish we went back to try the other things on the menu.

22/03/2026: Everything was fine, but the glasses were dirty. We were able to exchange one, but we received another dirty one. Out of three glasses, none were clean. Order takeout.

21/03/2026: The overall experience is decent, although you should expect a bit of a wait before collecting your order. It's manageable, but you can tell the team is sometimes under pressure. The real downside is the loyalty card scanner: it's often out of order or has a lot of trouble reading the code. This happens quite frequently and ends up slowing everyone down since you have to give your code verbally. Fortunately, the order was complete and the products were piping hot when they arrived. A little more effort on the scanner's maintenance would be really appreciated to streamline the process.

08/03/2026: We took a pastry class with Chef Pierre. It was a wonderful time making a raspberry and passion fruit cream and a Black Forest cake. The atmosphere was filled with sharing, generosity, and a very warm welcome. I highly recommend it. Thank you for the experience!

22/02/2026: Patisserie La Foret Noire is next to the Market Hall and the Tourist Office in downtown Grenoble. Good selection of pastries and affordable prices.

28/03/2026: Not a single clean table! The fryers are beeping non-stop! And on top of that, we're freezing!

21/03/2026: Just another McDonald's... The burgers look nothing like the pictures, the patties are half the size of normal, and the buns are tiny... I'm not telling you anything new. It's generally quite clean, but not always cleaned up after customers; maybe they're understaffed? The covered children's area is nice.

The owner of Le Petit Creux has invented a new concept: assaulting the customer before they even eat. Not only does he hang up on you, but he insults your mother as a bonus. A complete disgrace to the town of Domene. Zero points for service and manners. P.S.: It's a total disaster.

09/12/2025: This is my second and, quite frankly, last time going there. A very unpleasant experience, just like the first time. I don't think you can get any colder or more unpleasant than that. It was too much to ask to place your order at the register.

13/09/2025: Both suffered from indigestion shortly after the meal. The other people in our group, who did not eat meat, had no problems. I therefore advise against this restaurant and urge the managers to pay particular attention to the safety of their food and the preservation of their products.

27/08/2025: Nickel reservation, super well served, very friendly staff, very kind, total change of scenery without being on vacation, generous plates, super good dessert, very good products and very clean restaurant, very reasonable prices, I recommend it as every year, never disappointed

07/03/2026: I just got back to my order and it's missing a large fry and a burger. The sauces aren't even removed from the burgers, I don't know, we're not asking for much, just do your job properly or don't bother.

17/03/2026: The food was spotless, the sandwiches were perfect, and the whole McDonald's was clean. I highly recommend it!

17/03/2026: This restaurant isn't what it used to be since the change in management; the quality has declined, and the staff aren't as cheerful as they were last year. I used to come here often because it was the best in the area, but now I'll be choosing somewhere else, which is a shame! That said, the team is doing the best they can! And the burgers are still pretty good...

24/03/2026: Drive-thru menu service includes cold sandwiches and fries, and of course, we don't turn around to complain.

21/03/2026: Bad experience at the drive-thru. Two sandwiches were missing out of the four meals we ordered, as well as the nuggets for my daughter. We only realized this when we got home... Our Friday night family dinner was completely ruined.

06/12/2025: Unfriendly service. We paid full price for half a pizza because you told us some ingredients were out of stock, which I can understand. The half pizza came with bagged salad leaves and two slices of bland tomato, all at full price. We were served a pitcher of Corsican wine without being shown the bottle, and the caramel cream cost €5. The coffee, supposedly complimentary, was charged to us, and we weren't offered a receipt, which is mandatory. The bill was exorbitant at €41. If no compensation is offered and you provide your contact information, I will report this to the consumer protection agency (DGPP) for deceptive practices. I look forward to your response.

08/03/2026: Young, serious, and very welcoming owners. A very friendly waiter, excellent food—a place I highly recommend. The small bar is open late.

06/03/2026: We had lunch at the restaurant in early March. The welcome was excellent, and the dining room was pleasant. The meal was good and plentiful. We ordered a burger, ravioli, and a children's menu. Furthermore, the service was quick. We had a very enjoyable time at Chalet Suisse.
