12/07/2026: A single table of six was available for brunch this Sunday, yet there was a long wait. Thirty minutes after ordering, three guests received their first savory course. Another 30 minutes later, after we contacted them, we were told that the first course for the other three wasn't actually available! We then had to wait another 15 minutes for replacement first courses. And the quality of the food was mediocre: lukewarm mashed potatoes, a soft-boiled egg that was anything but soft-boiled. I had been twice before and it was good, but today it fell far short of expectations and the price. A huge disappointment!

22/06/2026: Hello First of all, a huge THANK YOU to Bruno and his team for contributing to our wonderful christening and our daughter Valentina's 2nd birthday. They gave us excellent advice on the venue, ensuring we stayed as cool as possible despite the heat on June 21st. Furthermore, the meal was delicious, from the petit fours to the cheese course; almost everything was homemade, and you could taste the difference. The suckling pig was cooked to perfection. Finally, all my guests loved the meal, but also the warm welcome and service, which were lovely and professional despite the 35°C heat. The staff were very friendly, pleasant, and competent. Don't change a thing, you're the best!

17/05/2026: A lovely hotel in a great location (5 minutes from the center). Alexandre provided an excellent welcome and helpful recommendations; he's also a master of scrambled eggs. Breakfast is excellent, and the sauna and hammam are a real bonus. I highly recommend it! :-)

21/04/2026: We booked a room for two people from April 11th to 12th through Booking.com for €136.85, without breakfast, but we ended up with a single room for €85. It seems to us that management could have offered a discount on breakfast! What a shame...

04/06/2026: I went back several times. I've changed my opinion to very positive. It was very good. Each time, the dishes were different.

22/08/2026: I do not recommend it! The atmosphere is deplorable, just like the manager. And the quality of service suffers as a result: very slow (even though there was only one order before us), a drink was missing (even though it wasn't rushed), and the food was of dubious quality (my daughter vomited last night). The request to personalize the sandwich was ignored. The Sundae was served in a coffee cup = three times less to eat than expected = two spoonfuls max. Considering the price, it's shameful. At 9:50 pm, even though the restaurant closes at 11 pm, the manager rudely informed us that takeout orders had to be placed at the kiosks and then shut them down at 10 pm, asking us to use the drive-thru. The employees are moving at a snail's pace and are barely polite, but their manager sets such a terrible example! I'll find another McDonald's next time.

09/08/2026: A huge disappointment for a place that is still my absolute favorite castle… We arrived yesterday as a family with great enthusiasm, as Château Chapeau Cornu is a place I dream about. We had chosen to come specifically to enjoy La Capella (gift certificate purchased on the website). Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations. We found a hair in a dish, a fishbone that got stuck, and above all, the staff's attitude was particularly unpleasant when we simply asked for an explanation. The response we received, in essence, was that we only had to read our voucher, leaving us with the rather unpleasant feeling of being treated as "categorized" customers because we had booked with a gift certificate. No children's menu, a customer having her birthday video call as if she were alone on her sofa. To top it off, a waitress, while clearing the table, bumped into me with a plate, without this seeming to elicit any real reaction. And finally, in the restroom, I witnessed a particularly unpleasant situation with vomit in the sink completely clogging it, which is really not what one would expect from an establishment of this caliber. We remained at our table for almost four hours, even though the restaurant was far from full. This clearly demonstrates that the service was far from what we could have expected. And yet, despite all this, there was no gesture of goodwill, no real attention to try to make up for this experience. I would still like to emphasize that the dishes were excellent. The cuisine deserves praise, and the setting remains, in my opinion, magnificent. It's precisely because I love this place so much that this experience disappointed me so much. Château Chapeau Cornu remains my favorite château, but yesterday, the staff unfortunately did nothing to enhance the experience. When you come to a place like this, you expect much more than a good meal: you expect an experience, attention, and a touch of magic. Yesterday, unfortunately, the disastrous service didn't live up to the setting. I confess to being deeply disappointed. 💔

28/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The setting is idyllic, housed in a magnificent stone tower with soaring vaulted ceilings, offering an atmosphere that is both warm and elegant. The service is particularly pleasant, attentive, and professional. The dishes are exquisitely refined, perfectly executed, and the wine and spirits recommendations are excellent. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation. A special mention goes to the chef for his lobster cooked in Monbazillac wine, a dish as original as it is delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. Our sincere congratulations!

08/04/2026: Absolutely lived our stay at the Grandes Rousses. The hotel was amazing, staff very helpful and the views were incredible. I’d say probably the best in the whole resort. We had a mezzanine room which was great for 3 adults and 1 child. Ski lockers are very convenient as is the standing ski lift that stops outside . We ate at both restaurants and the food was really good, as were the drinks and cocktails were so good! We loved going in the pool late afternoon for a post ski dip and again, incredible views of the resort! Can not recommend this hotel enough!

18/07/2026: One of my favorite spots for a drink, sometimes with a pizza instead of the usual cheap charcuterie boards. Diverse clientele, no problems, and I'm more of an average person than a student 😂 I often even meet some nice people there! Friendly staff, even if you don't need to be a regular, a shaded alleyway terrace with little traffic—in short, a great place to spend a pleasant time with friends! 👍🏻 P.S.: Beware, it's a trap for shooting, and you might get some late-night surprises if you give in to temptation 👀
