22/09/2024: Would not recommend most of the seats are taken, but they are plenty of more which could be activated but they tell you no they won’t do this. You can’t sit there quite rude.

21/09/2024: Last night when we were in Strasbourg we spontaneously stopped by and got a table for three people (2 adults and a child). What can you say: exactly the right choice! A beautifully decorated "Winstub" in the middle of Strasbourg with a small, fine menu that reflects the region very well. We had snails and veal head as an entrée, followed by zander on Riesling cabbage and beef fillet on chanterelles. The cheese variations were finally the final point. All courses were top: cooked to perfection and very excellent. The children's menu for the little ones also left nothing to be desired. If the food already made you happy, this was further increased by the very harmoniously put together wine list, which, in addition to the "big names", also includes other wineries that were previously unknown to the author. Browsing was fun and the bottle we selected was even more fun :-). Friendly and attentive service made the visit a wonderful evening. A big thank you to the whole team for this lovely evening.

16/09/2024: Fantastic traditional Alsatian food - do yourself a favour when you’re in Strasbourg and come to this restaurant which is just a hop and a skip away from the touristy places, but miles away from the fare served there - here you get top quality traditional dishes served expertly in a beautiful restaurant with a lovely ambience. We’ll certainly be back!

16/09/2024: Excellent restaurant to try all kinds of Flammkuchen typical of the area. There are two types of menu: the first for €13.9 in which you can order a restricted number of flams, or the "Hopla" menu for €18.9 which is to try the entire menu with a starter or dessert. We ordered the €13.9 menu and it is more than enough since it has a good number of varieties to try. You can order as many times as you want, but everyone at the table must order the same type of menu. To drink, we ask for bottled water which is free (typical in France). The service from the waiters is great, fast and polite.

15/09/2024: Slightly older house but clean. Located close to the cathedral. Very good tarte flambée in different variations. Friendly staff, you should be able to speak English. All you can eat is also available.

02/10/2024: Wir hatten einen schönen Abend im tollen Gewölbekeller. Das Personal war sehr freundlich & kompetent. Es gibt auch Speisekarten in deutscher Sprache. Wir haben das Menue Alsace bestellt und alle Gänge waren sehr köstlich. Es gab auch keine zu lange Wartezeiten zwischen den Gängen, trotz vollem Restaurant. Auch Preis-Leistung fanden wir absolut angemessen. Wir können den Gurtlerhoft nur empfehlen und kommen beim nächsten Besuch in Strasbourg gerne wieder. Ich empfehle vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren da das Restaurant sehr gut besucht ist.

30/09/2024: 8 friends for dinner. Excellent selection of food and fantastic service. The setting is also very nice with cellar style ceilings. Would definitely recommend.

10/09/2024: Small glacier that is worth the detour. On the other hand there is a pleasant location in a small pedestrian street. Outdoor terrace and nice indoor space. For ice cream, they are delicious and presented in cups with fresh fruit. The service is fast and the servers are very friendly. I recommend this place for a little sweet break.

14/08/2024: The ice creams are very good. The setting is nice and friendly on the other hand the unpleasant service unpleasant waitress not a smile I almost felt uncomfortable too bad because the rest was nice.

13/09/2024: Leggo commenti discordanti, io posso solo dire che il croque-monsieur che abbiamo preso era veramente buono, come il cappuccino e che è stata piacevole la colazione seduti sulla grand rue. Per questo motivo, a parte la coda quasi perenne la mattina per ordinare, posso solo consigliarlo e parlarne bene.

22/03/2024: A l'arrivée très bien accueillis par le serveur; à deux minutes près nous aurions même pu être installés en terrasse, mais c'est le jeu des lieux prisés, tant pis pour nous, tant mieux pour eux. Nous avons opté pour un bo bun au canard qui était savoureux. Petit bémol, il y a eu une erreur dans l'enregistrement de la commande donc nous avons attendu très longtemps. C'est le serveur qui s'en est rendu compte, ce qui est un bon point car cela prouve qu'il est attentif à sa salle. Il est immédiatement venu s'excuser et nous a promis de nous offrir le café, ce qu'il a fait. Niveau desserts, il y a beaucoup de choix avec des saveurs originales comme le cheesecake litchi. Les plats sont très copieux. C'est une très bonne adresse et le bo bun est fait dans les règles de l'art. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

23/02/2024: Very good restaurant with generous and delicious dishes :) Special mention for the wine list which respects its Alsace region and which offers a generous list of Alsatian wines. This should be an example for all restaurants in the regional capital.

26/08/2024: I have meals delivered several times a week for my mother who lives in the neighborhood. Mrs. Hemmer delivers them in person, always pleasant and smiling and the dishes are satisfactory

17/06/2024: C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons, de passage dans la région. Toujours excellent, nous retrouvons les saveurs traditionnelles d'Alsace servies généreusement avec le sourire. Service toujours aussi rapide, la patronne adorable et toujours attentive aux détails et prévenante. Allez-y les yeux fermés !

04/06/2024: Amazing place with delicious food! I ordered a menu and it was hard to finish because in addition to the amazing taste the portions are also very big. Fortunately I had my friends to help me with the desert. If I come back to Strasbourg again, I'm so gonna visit it!

30/09/2024: First, we were greeted politely by the hostess. However, it is not a suitable place for families with children. When we could not find food for the child, we decided to have something to drink and leave. When we did not want to eat anything, the waiter started to be rude, even had an aggressive attitude when paying the bill.
