13/08/2024: Im not sure why Google is saying this resto is temp closed. We literally ate here a few weeks ago! The service was great, and the food was good! Id recommend returning if you want something quick but good.

22/11/2024: We discovered a very good local Chinese restaurant with Pates Dansantes. A menu that is a bit different from the classics that we find everywhere, everything was very good, even the wine (and I am a wine merchant) and served generously. The servers are adorable and delicate, we were served quite quickly, everything was perfect. And the value for money is very good, especially for the neighborhood. I recommend, and lovers of spicy dishes can ask to increase the dose of pepper in their dish.

25/01/2025: What was a 5/5 for me in 2022 has gone to a 1 out of 5. Simply unpalatable, the dishes are too fatty, too salty. The grill side is really not better, low-end meat, beef and cheese with a suspicious smell, in short my dogs ate better than me that evening.

06/09/2024: Le Boeuf d’Or is my favorite place to eat in Gien! The managers are super nice, the food is very good and the ideal place to have a good time with family, friends, or even alone!

05/09/2024: The Mandarin restaurant, hidden in the small streets near the Observatory, is a real gem that deserves to be discovered. Despite its discreet location, it was a pleasant surprise. The service is provided by a single person who, in addition to taking care of the kitchen, carefully ensures that each customer has an excellent culinary experience. His kindness and attention to detail added a human warmth to the experience. The Peking duck soup was a marvel, rich in flavors and perfectly balanced. The spring rolls, for their part, were fresh and crispy, just the way we like them. But my real favorite was the Cantonese rice, undoubtedly one of the best I have tasted, with authentic flavors and an impeccable texture. To end the meal on a sweet note, I tasted apple fritters, which are clearly worth the detour, and the banana flambé, simple but tasty. In summary, Mandarin is a hidden gem that I highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine and attentive service.

07/11/2024: A restaurant where the staff are really very friendly, generous and welcoming 🙃😊. There are plenty of choices, sushi, poke bowls, soup, spring rolls, donuts, Bao, steam bites, sauce dishes, drinks, desserts. The food is delicious I highly recommend 🥰😊
