10/09/2024: What a shame, excellent cuisine, beautiful presentation But waiting 45 minutes to be served the dish and waiting again for the dessert noted when the first order was taken, that spoils the pleasure. Plus meals on the terrace because there is no more room inside. The good point, we were warned. Bad organization!

07/09/2024: L'accueil, le service et la cuisine, tout est parfait. Les plats proposés et que nous avons dégustés etaient de très bonnes qualités (produits locaux), la présentation très appliquée. Si vous passez dans le coin, vous pouvez vous arrêter pour profiter de ce très bon restaurant.

12/09/2024: Kebabs de qualité, cuisson nikel ,copieux , toujours bien accueilli. bien veillant. Nous prenons toujours le maxi kebab et ne sommes jamais déçus Broche non industrielle,pain a kebab et non baguette ... Je vous le recommande

03/09/2024: Un rendez-vous avec mon amie Mireille à ne jamais manquer. Il m'arrive aussi d'y aller toute seule. Commande à emporter. Ont essayent de venir une fois par semaine. Pour le cadre, la propreté, la qualité, les prix. Ce joli et merveilleux couple qui ce fait une joie de vous accueillir dans leur établissement. Merci pour votre gentillesse et qualité. 30/08/2024: Warm welcome even without having reserved, but I advise you to reserve, because the cuisine is excellent and places are quickly taken. Tasty, simple cuisine with fresh produce, a great setting facing the castle and the Soudoire valley. A nice lunch break...

03/12/2023: Je ne suis pas du genre à laisser de mauvais commentaires, mais commande réalisée vers 19h30, livraison prévue à 20h, et commande reçue à 21h.. Impossible d’avoir le restaurant au téléphone.. Dommage. Livreur compréhensible malgré tout.

10/08/2024: This is a historic building, and the rooms show it, but at the same time you can see how the management cares for this building and their guests, we had overall a good time there

19/11/2025: Good location on the edge of the highway in a busy commercial area (supermarket, restaurants, etc.) near the city center (though you'll need a car or bike to get there). Relatively quiet. Friendly welcome. Reasonable prices. Acceptable comfort. Spacious, well-furnished rooms. BUT. The rooms are outdated, poorly heated, difficult access to the ground-floor rooms (stairs), uninsulated doors, an overly heavy front door, and no towels on my second visit, for which I was upgraded. And an absurd and unreasonable ban on bringing outside food! I've never seen anything like it! Even though the breakfast is quite disappointing, being rather ordinary compared to others at the same high price.

28/09/2025: Rooms to review we slept in a family room without heating we slept with our clothes on and without taking a shower because we couldn't turn on the shower luckily the next day at reception which wasn't the same person offered us breakfast oh yes but just a coffee with a small mini croissant don't imagine the full breakfast but I thank you anyway

30/12/2023: Very unpleasant bearded waiter. He would probably have to change careers. Never again this place.

27/10/2023: We didn't even sit down until we were refused INADMISSIBLE. The waiter made an inappropriate comment to us!!!

28/08/2024: Booked a family room and was pleasantly surprised by getting 2 connecting rooms. Reasonable sized rooms and clean bathrooms. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. An enjoyable stay.

03/04/2024: Arriving in the evening in great shape, leaving the next morning with a blocked back thanks to a "broken" mattress. Frequenting hotels very regularly, this is the first time I have seen this. To sum up, never again in an ibis style.

Holidaymakers from Beaujolais but originally from Limousin, we were seduced by the quality of the welcome given to us, the charm of our room, the availability and kindness of the Bastidie Manager and his colleague. 17/09/2025: A remarkable setting, a beautiful, well-maintained château. Beautiful decor full of detail and thoughtfulness. Pierre, the manager of the gite, is warm, welcoming, and attentive, not to mention the lady who serves breakfast.

31/10/2024: A stylish place, a unique atmosphere that reminds me of a manor or a castle. It's worth visiting and staying overnight. The service was very nice, helpful and interested in ensuring the guests' well-being. The rooms are clean, well-kept, tastefully decorated, rather old-style, lots of dark wood. Hotel on the edge of the charming French countryside. You just have to go there!

12/12/2024: The room was dirty (carpet not vacuumed) the bathroom also (long-time moldy joints and clogged sink), the mattress was not comfortable (tired with a hole in the middle) and the welcome was not pleasant.
