15/01/2025: Came because a voucher for two tasting menus was offered to us. Delicious food, congratulations to the chef! A little disappointed by the service, I had to ask twice for a carafe of still water. Atmosphere: beautiful decor, small, comfortable room and enough privacy between tables. Only downside: an extra garland of neon lights which dazzled my eyes. All in all, an excellent experience, and it should also be noted that we came away well satisfied after a series of all the wonderful and original little dishes on the tasting menu. Go for it if you can afford it!

19/10/2025: We hosted a family reunion this weekend. The cottage and the exterior are magnificent. The bedrooms are spacious, there's a beautiful lounge, and the reception room is large and beautifully decorated. We were self-catering, and the kitchen is fully equipped with professional equipment. We had a wonderful stay. Excellent value for money. We will definitely return and recommend this venue for family or friends gatherings. Thank you to the owners for making this place so welcoming and relaxing.

11/10/2025: Magnificent restaurant "L'instant Basque" in Brive La Gaillarde, where we enjoyed an excellent Limousin rib of beef (cooked to perfection), accompanied by an equally excellent Basque wine. Great professionalism and kindness from the owner towards us and our 2 dogs. A big thank you to you and your team 🙏🏻. We will come back as soon as possible.

21/10/2025: Beautiful setting and fast service 👌. But a big disappointment: the Lorraine plate cost €18 for 4 people without the terrine (forgotten, brought after asking the server). Only 3 slices of cheese instead of 4 and tasteless 🧀. Expensive for the quality and quantity. Too bad! Beautiful location!

09/11/2024: Une très belle découverte lors d’un repas entre amis. Nous avons vraiment adoré pour plusieurs raisons. Des plats d’une justesse culinaire impeccable, de l’œuf molllet croustillant aux champignons, en passant par le paleron confit servi avec un accompagnement de petits légumes présentés sous une fine tartelette, le tout agrémenté de petite touche d’émulsion de châtaignes. Le désert était top avec un baba revisité à l’armagnac à l’orange de la célèbre maison Denoix. Ce fut un plaisir de discuter avec la patronne: beaucoup d’écoute , de gentillesse et de professionnalisme. Bref un vrai coup de cœur, à refaire sans hésitation

13/12/2024: Repas plutôt bon, même si la sauce de la truite n'avait pas de goût. Pommes dauphines maison très bonnes, mais un peu trop grasses. C'est à 1h30 du matin que j'ai dégusté, j'ai été malade. Quelque chose n'est pas passé, j'ai eu la nausée et le reste a suivi...

03/11/2024: Entré à l’improviste au vu d’une impression d’ensemble attractive, n’ayant pas réservé, j’ai été chanceux il restait une table. Il vaut mieux réserver. Accueil et service fort sympathiques. Comme j’étais seul, j’ai pu dîner et être servi rapidement, disons sans attendre entre les plats. C’est très appréciable. Et donc la cuisine: Le foie gras maison est excellent. La truite très bien cuisinée et accompagnée. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Un excellent souvenir de ce dîner pour cette soirée de passage à Brive. Merci.
