22/10/2025: A more than warm welcome from a little lady who runs the shop all by herself. She served us a delicious plate of charcuterie and cheese, in a wonderful atmosphere.

05/10/2025: What a surprise awaited us behind this little cellar door... We entered by chance (but was it really a chance?) and were welcomed by a friendly and unusually kind woman. We tasted and then bought some liqueurs, and then left. We were so impressed by this encounter with Marie-Dominique that we returned at noon to eat a charcuterie board and spend some time with this extraordinary woman. Three hours and a few drinks later, we resigned ourselves to leaving this place with a heavy heart, but as we strolled around, we were eager to return...

11/07/2026: A very well-located restaurant in the old streets of Porto-Vecchio. The food is quite good, even if it's nothing particularly elaborate. However, the service is deplorable. The waitress treated us haughtily and disdainfully throughout the meal. We felt like we were bothering her every time we asked for something (water, sauces for the fries, etc.). It's a real shame, as it completely ruined our experience.

30/06/2026: We played at Golf de Sperone 4 times last year and twice on our holiday this year. This year we booked our first game on their website which redirects you to Golfnow eu. We booked a tee time for 7.40am and arrived at 7am so we could collect hire clubs and a buggy. The club was closed and didn’t open until 8am in June yet we booked via their website! For the second round we asked our apartment owner to telephone and book for us. She confirmed she had done this and when we arrived to play they told us we didn’t have a reservation! Last year we found the majority of staff to be very aggressive and unfriendly and hoped it would be better this year. Unfortunately it wasn’t. The lady who looks after the buggies and hire clubs is very stern and does not make you feel welcome. The bar staff are not much friendlier. Coffee is 5 euros for a tiny cup and a large shandy is 11 euros. The menu is fancy food and very expensive. The pro shop staff seem to have problems with checking in every guest and if you are happy to pay 110 euros for a polo shirt then you might be happy here! It cost us 395 euros for 2 people to play with hire clubs and a buggy. Did it feel like good value for money? No! On a positive note the course is lovely with fabulous views and is pretty challenging. The greens run slow but overall it is in good condition and a great experience to play here. It’s a pity the whole experience isn’t as nice as the course itself.

29/06/2026: Excellent Corsican cuisine, all homemade, in a lovely setting. I highly recommend it.

22/07/2026: Sandwiches and salads made with good Corsican products. Very reasonable prices. The service was very slow, with only one person (welcoming and friendly) doing everything and a lot of customers to serve. A major drawback is the location by the roadside near an intersection; in the summer, there's a lot of traffic and therefore deafening noise.

20/07/2026: Avoid at all costs! We stopped for lunch while passing through. Twenty minutes after ordering, we were told they were out of bread for sandwiches. Their solution was to switch us to the €21 Corsican platter, consisting of four slices of ham, four slices of sausage, and two tiny pieces of butter. If you simply want to have a drink while listening to the cars go by, then go for it.

18/07/2026: It's so pathetic to glorify a murderer who killed thousands. My Colombian partner and I were about to move in with her, but she couldn't bear to see the glorification of the person responsible for the murder of part of her family, for having grown up in streets stained with blood because of him, and for him to be glorified like this. A little respect and common sense are in order.

14/07/2026: The welcome was fantastic, and a magnificent tree covers the terrace, which is very pleasant. We loved it!

25/04/2026: It's a shame about the tasteless hot chocolate, everything else is perfect.

08/07/2026: We only ate the main course. It was very good, but because of wasps, the children had to take their plates and eat standing up several meters away. For the same reason, we didn't have dessert. I don't recommend it.

09/07/2026: A lovely terrace with attractive decor right in the village center. The Corsican cuisine is fairly standard but of good quality. Prices are reasonable.

23/07/2026: A magnificent view with the evening lights. Really good cocktails. The food is excellent. The prices are high, but you're paying for the view. The staff is very helpful. It's a shame there was a mistake with our order (a 30-minute wait because they forgot it; when I pointed it out, the staff were incredibly responsive and the dishes arrived within 5 minutes). And Mother Nature sent her mosquitoes, which spoiled the end of our meal. Too bad, we would have loved to try the desserts.
