06/07/2025: A small meal with friends before heading to the movies: it was very enjoyable! Despite the unpredictable weather, two musicians performed covers of favorite songs. The hearty dishes arrived quickly and with a smile. We even had time for dessert! We will gladly return.

12/04/2026: Found by chance, I absolutely do not recommend this place. The food in general is mediocre, even passable. The worst part: our table was sticky and my chair was still covered in crumbs and other very old debris, judging by the cobwebs. For the few people there this weekend, this lack of cleanliness is unacceptable. An inspection by the health department is essential.

26/03/2026: I had a wonderful time at this all-you-can-eat restaurant. The dishes are varied, always fresh and delicious, with real attention paid to the flavors. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is quick and pleasant. It's perfect for discovering many flavors without breaking the bank, while enjoying a hearty and high-quality meal. I highly recommend this place for lovers of good, generous, and flavorful cuisine.

11/04/2026: Normal bakery, good products but high prices, attention paid to hygiene. A friend and I ate a burger and found a hair in it, just like in the muffin.

28/03/2026: This place leaves much to be desired when you eat in. Not because of the staff, who are very friendly, no complaints there, but because of the place itself, it's appalling... A wall socket sticking out of the wall, held on by tape that's no longer sticking, the socket literally falling off the wall (see photo), cobwebs everywhere, dust on the chandeliers where you can even see fingerprints, uncleaned tables, and food splattered all over the floor. Three or four people were there and no one cleaned up... even though there wasn't a single customer. The toilet door won't close because the lock has been completely smashed, so you could find yourself face to face with another customer at any moment, watching you do your introspection. And apparently, this isn't a recent problem, judging by other reviews. The light keeps switching on and off... This establishment is sorely lacking in maintenance, and as for the exposed electrical outlet on the wall, I'm going to report it. This is far too serious because if a child were to put their fingers in it, it would unfortunately be an instant electrocution. The food is good, not exceptional, but decent enough. The only positive point is the friendliness of the staff.

05/03/2026: Unfriendly saleswoman who snaps at customers. A woman in front of me was firmly reprimanded for taking a pastry bag: "You have to leave the bags on the display case and take them when you've paid." It's not written anywhere, at least not visibly. And then it was my turn... Next... I ordered an apple turnover and five cream puffs. "Did you see the price?" "Yes." "Ten is a better deal." "No, I only want five, thank you." And then: "I'm just doing my job..." More arguing ensued. I was reprimanded. You can't say she has a keen sense of customer service. Such a welcome makes you want to go to the competition, of which there are plenty nearby.

04/03/2026: Hello, it's 9am, so the day isn't exactly starting with customers, and the bread won't be ready until 11am?! I find that a bit much...

29/03/2026: We came for a weekend and I was disappointed with the place. The rooms are clean, certainly, but incredibly outdated. Personally, I didn't like it at all. In my bathroom, the wooden bathtub suggested leaks or pests due to the humidity, I don't know, but it was completely eaten away by "rotten" water. The staff are nice enough, but they don't talk. That said, we weren't bothered by that aspect given the peacefulness of the place. There was nobody around; I don't even know how this place can be viable... In short, I won't be back. It's not a place to avoid, but I find it clearly expensive for what you get. The hotel seems to be under renovation; perhaps it was recently bought, I don't know... I'll leave it to the imagination, but I won't be returning.

21/02/2026: A warm welcome following a car breakdown that stranded us for the night. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations (something to be aware of), so this is a minor drawback for guests seeking a top-notch experience. For a stopover on the holiday route, the location is adequate. There's a suitable restaurant nearby, as well as the Leclerc shopping center which has a newsagent/tobacconist.

14/02/2026: The toilets were dilapidated and the atmosphere was terrible. Furthermore, the orange juice was undrinkable, only orange syrup was good.

23/04/2026: Hello, we highly recommend this restaurant. We went to a funeral, as we were coming from the Charente region. We called ahead, nothing had been arranged, and we arrived at 2 pm with 10 people. We were treated like royalty, the meal was impeccable, and the welcome was excellent. We will definitely return. Thank you! 😘

01/04/2026: The daily special of caramel pork was served with undercooked rice, or rice that had been reheated from the day before or two days prior, and completely dried out. The grains were hard, dry, and inedible! The chef was clearly satisfied with what he sent out, since he received no feedback! It's appalling; even a novice cook knows how to cook rice!

01/02/2026: A good country bakery, despite their strict policy regarding galettes; on February 1st, it was impossible to get a frangipane galette. A weekend without a frangipane galette? You have to go to Leclerc to find one.
