12/08/2024: Surprised by the kindness of all the staff. Top meal, lots of choice, we can help ourselves as many times as we want. €15 for a complete meal with wine. Nothing to complain about. Bravo, I recommend. Just hard to find, look for the cattle market roundabout and you will find it.

05/08/2024: A lovely, welcoming hotel in a fabulous location. We had the nicest stay, the staff all make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We walked into town for dinner on the boardwalk by the river which was beautiful, although the hotel does do drinks and a small menu in the evenings when they can. The pool is small but very welcome on a hot day in a small walled garden with loungers. There is also a pagoda to sit in in the garden with lovely views. Aurélie, Kate and Lauren are great, the rooms are spotless and have beautiful beams and furniture. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

03/08/2024: The best part is the swimming pool even if it is not very large (max 4 people). The setting is pleasant, very quiet, the staff is friendly. Breakfast is good. The least concerns the old-fashioned rooms. Beautiful TV in the room. Bathroom small and not very well equipped: no shelf to put kit and products and nothing to hang towels?!? The services are not in line with the price 🫤

22/07/2024: Having eaten there several times, very good restaurant, a multitude of quite different dishes, inexpensive, small downside is the service but largely understanding, it is alone except on Friday and Saturday evenings.

15/08/2024: ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ Hotel "le relay des lilas" in Parthenay, 1 night (from 20 to 21/07 without breakfast) aging room/bathroom, unwelcoming staff. When we showed up, the receptionist (incomprehensible orally) did not find us on their Booking reservation list, and made us pay directly on site, and on 08/13 Booking took the sum of 85 € in my account. In conclusion, this hotel was paid for twice!!! I am filing a complaint with Booking today!

13/08/2024: Hotel Very well located at the entrance to Parthenay Spacious and clean room. Quality bedding for a restful sleep. Friendly welcome. Very reasonable price this weekend in August. I recommend+++

13/09/2024: Très bon accueil, on est plutôt au calme car il y a peu de monde (malheureusement pour eux). Tout le repas était excellent. Un assez grand choix de plats chinois, vietnamiens et thaï notamment. Je recommande la soupe Phở et le bœuf au gingembre c’est un délice 😊 Il y en a pour tous les goûts (surtout asiatiques 😉). Bravo aux cuisiniers 🙌🏼 Hâte d’y retourner pour goûter d’autres plats. Le patron est très sympathique. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas + de clients car ce restaurant est vraiment très bon. Peut-être faudrait-il être présent sur les réseaux sociaux, sur les pages jaunes et avoir un site internet. Je vous le recommande ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🍜🥢🧧🥟🐉

19/08/2024: We love this local beer! The team is super friendly 👍 and always welcomes you with a smile! The place is unusual for tasting and buying something to drink (with and without alcohol) and without forgetting the equally pleasant exterior! We highly recommend!

11/08/2024: D'habitude c'est très bien mais hier soir le cauchemar, restaurant complet, manque de personnel, 1h30 d'attente pour la pizza, 30 minutes pour la bière, tout ça dans une pièce à 28 degrès sans clim. A la fin du repas, on nous dit ce soir pas de dessert ! nous qui attendions une bonne glace !!! c'est dommage, je tiens à préciser que d'habitude c'est un service nickel
