25/04/2026: It's not what it used to be... Not good at all

24/04/2026: I hadn't been there for a year and I wanted to have a kebab again (in my memory, it was very generous with meat). The kebab I ordered didn't have much meat and the fries were soggy. I admit I was a little disappointed; there must have been a change of ownership. For those who prefer raw vegetables to meat, this kebab should appeal to you.

25/03/2026: Ideal hotel for a stopover on a long journey. Comfortable and very clean room, but a little chilly. Slight road noise. Decent breakfast: bread, pastries, savory dishes. Fruit salad and compote, but no fresh fruit. Friendly and welcoming staff.

04/02/2026: Passing through Cerizay for a business meeting, I was recommended L'Atelier restaurant for lunch. The restaurant opens at noon. The warm welcome was excellent, and the explanation of the set menus was clear. The restrooms were very clean. The buffet was well-stocked, with three main course options—simple but generous—and a choice of three or four different desserts. The atmosphere was friendly, like a canteen. Consider making a reservation, as it's becoming increasingly popular.

27/05/2026: How is it that since the beginning of the week, and especially early this morning, there are no parking spaces in your store's parking lot except near the gas station? I admit that yesterday I drove to one of your competitors, and this morning, an acquaintance told me the same thing! It's a shame; you're losing customers, and it's becoming unpleasant. Perhaps these are people who have nothing to do with shopping at your store and who work nearby!

26/03/2026: Hello 👋 dear foodie friends and gourmets... Today, while passing through Thouars for work, I decided to try this place since I didn't have time to go to my usual spot in the town center. Regarding the atmosphere and style, the decor is really dated, a sort of pseudo-country style from the 70s or 80s... Not necessarily a big deal, though; what matters most is the quality of the food and service... As for the daily specials and menu, it's really difficult to find what you're looking for because there are lots of chalkboards on the walls, but you can't make heads or tails of them... they could just display the daily specials... As for drinks, there's no menu; they just ask you what you want to drink without telling you the price... I tried an oriental pizza 🍕 which didn't leave a lasting impression; the crust was quite soggy. As you've probably gathered, this first attempt wasn't conclusive for me, and in my humble opinion, you can easily find better options in this area. 26/05/2026: Don't miss this superb restaurant with excellent Indian cuisine. The welcome was a little lacking in my opinion, probably due to the waiter's limited French, but his service was very good. Enjoy your meal!

13/05/2026: Having just arrived from Bordeaux, our Airbnb host recommended this restaurant. We received a very warm welcome, the food was delicious, and the service was incredibly friendly. If I may offer just one small suggestion, the naan was slightly overcooked and needed more cheese, but otherwise, we were very satisfied and had a lovely time.

16/05/2026: The welcome and service were excellent, however, a major drawback was the quality of the food served. The rice used to make the sushi was unsuitable, and the seaweed wrapping the maki was dry and tough, making the maki unpleasant and rather bland to eat.

26/03/2026: Went for lunch. Discreet location, homemade food, friendly atmosphere, nothing to complain about.

20/05/2026: A very bad experience at this bar. We went for a drink on the terrace, and I ordered two drinks. When it came time to pay after we'd finished, I wanted to pay by card, but they told me it was a €10 minimum and that I should withdraw cash otherwise, as it wasn't possible to pay less without being notified beforehand. In short, completely unfair. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
