24/04/2026: I hadn't been there for a year and I wanted to have a kebab again (in my memory, it was very generous with meat). The kebab I ordered didn't have much meat and the fries were soggy. I admit I was a little disappointed; there must have been a change of ownership. For those who prefer raw vegetables to meat, this kebab should appeal to you.

06/04/2026: Excellent pizzas. Highly recommended. Fast service.

30/03/2026: We had a very good meal, but after paying I noticed the bill wasn't correct; we'd been charged for an extra salad. The waitress refused to refund us unless we waited until the chef finished his shift so he could get his checkbook. After she implied it would take a while, we left without a refund.

06/04/2026: April 6th in the morning, lovely weather to have a coffee on the terrace.

29/03/2026: When you enter the café, you step into an atmosphere reminiscent of the cafés in our small villages, but with a modern twist... the door opens by itself! Inside, you might meet regulars, passersby, young people, older folks, and sometimes our four-legged friends. No one is watched, and when you say "Hello!" you get a friendly, echoing response. The owners keep a watchful eye, but no one is pushy; it's a welcoming atmosphere.

We've known this restaurant for so long that it's practically part of our city's history! At least, that's my opinion! Your new decor is absolutely beautiful! We love it! 14/02/2026: A disappointing restaurant. A first for us, and tonight's Valentine's Day meal was tasteless. Bland. Unappetizing. The first surprise: a set menu! We weren't informed of this when we made the reservation! For starters, doughnuts that had clearly been fried in oil for several hours. Cheese naan that was incredibly heavy. I've never seen anything like it! A sauce accompanying the prawns, a fluorescent pink that was as flashy as it was bland! Overcooked, dry lamb. A fruit salad that wasn't really a salad, with a scoop of ice cream that seemed to appear out of nowhere. The waiters were friendly but completely unprofessional. No privacy. We were practically sitting on top of each other. Not to mention the constant coming and going of Uber Eats delivery drivers! In short, we were very, very disappointed with this meal. We won't be back. Shalimar is much better!

26/03/2026: Hello 👋 dear foodie friends and gourmets... Today, while passing through Thouars for work, I decided to try this place since I didn't have time to go to my usual spot in the town center. Regarding the atmosphere and style, the decor is really dated, a sort of pseudo-country style from the 70s or 80s... Not necessarily a big deal, though; what matters most is the quality of the food and service... As for the daily specials and menu, it's really difficult to find what you're looking for because there are lots of chalkboards on the walls, but you can't make heads or tails of them... they could just display the daily specials... As for drinks, there's no menu; they just ask you what you want to drink without telling you the price... I tried an oriental pizza 🍕 which didn't leave a lasting impression; the crust was quite soggy. As you've probably gathered, this first attempt wasn't conclusive for me, and in my humble opinion, you can easily find better options in this area. 11/04/2026: Avoid this crêperie at all costs… there were only five of us in the crêperie on Friday night… the service was abysmal… the food was mediocre, made with frozen ingredients. The staff were waiting at the counter for us to leave and made sure we knew it, even taking out the trash while we were still in the restaurant! We had barely left the restaurant, pressured by the staff, and before we could even get in the car, the restaurant was closed and the lights were off! Disrespectful behavior towards customers.

26/03/2026: Went for lunch. Discreet location, homemade food, friendly atmosphere, nothing to complain about.

01/04/2026: Cod with strawberries and Chantilly cream, caper mayonnaise, flambéed with pastis. This famous Gaston Lagaffe recipe was the only thing missing to complete the menu of this establishment, which in 10 years has become a shadow of its former self. It was our last time. The flavor combinations in the dishes are sickening. Add to that sluggish service and poorly poured glasses of wine. Special mention goes to the horrendous lamb navarin in a thick, oily gyoza. A good joke we'll remember for a lifetime ^^

20/03/2026: Keep walking, good people! Industrial food, nothing fresh, except maybe a bagged salad. More drinkers than eaters, a drunken atmosphere! Fries as greasy as can be, cooked in motor oil. Saint Macoux has better options, and the rest of the area is better too. This place is nothing like anything else in its class; its only advantage is its accessibility!

30/03/2026: Generous pizza toppings, good value for money. I ordered two pizzas to take away and was served as promised with a 20-minute wait. Perfect!

23/01/2026: A pizzeria of manageable size. The pizzerias are very good.

28/04/2026: The cook can't cook, and the manager is unfriendly. He doesn't want to understand anything. I wouldn't recommend going there…
