The evening before, we were turned away at 8 p.m. with a simple "we'll take more", no hello, no goodbye, nothing. The next day, we come back, the waitress doesn't greet us, she seats us at a table without a word, she gives us the cards and leaves. She comes back with a simple “what do you want”. She looks up and doesn't care about these customers. Very disappointed. Without forgetting the pastry of the day, which is actually the same every stay. A tartlet bought in the bakery next door, reheated to make it more “fresh”. Covered with whipped cream, and a very small scoop of ice cream, just to hide the fact that it comes from the store next door, with a big margin, you might as well go and buy it yourself In addition, the establishment has repeatedly deleted my comments, which is unacceptable.

Wake up gently thanks to the scent of meat slowly cooked by Maitre Kemal, the owner of the place, who already cooked under Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. Fortunately the meat is no longer the same as it was at that time. In short, the €9 menu including a night in the Kemal hotel is a must have when visiting Niort.
