13/03/2026: We were very disappointed with the food. We went there for lunch and were not able to use terrace due to season i guess although the weather was nice. We chose a set and a prawn starter was ok but veal as main dish was really bad. It was a full of fat and so hard to chew. We really didn't know veal could have so much fat. Then they served the hot bread which I guess was reheat from microwave or oven. It remind me of a bread from plane. We didn't even touch it as it seemed not definitely freshly baked. We are in France and this region is even famous for food. All the restaurants we tried in Sarlat served fresh and good bread. I thought that was basic. The view was ok but not wow for us as you will see so many good view points around the region.

19/02/2026: A lovely little evening on February 14th with a beautiful and appetizing mixed platter, as delicious as it was beautiful. I highly recommend it; the atmosphere is pleasant, and the waitresses are attentive, kind, and friendly. I'll gladly return! Thank you for your hospitality.

17/12/2025: We came as a family on Saturday, December 13th. We had a great time. The two people who served us were absolutely fantastic. We'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work! It's great to still have places like this where you feel right at home.

30/01/2026: We walked and walked before finding a decent place without having to pay an exorbitant price… and what a surprise! A superb location, excellent food, excellent servers—what more could you ask for? The children's menu… Not great and not very ambitious… the age limit needs to be reviewed to attract more customers…

30/12/2025: The food left much to be desired; the cassoulet was reheated from several days ago. The meat was of very low quality, full of gristle and tough.

26/02/2026: We highly recommend this restaurant whenever we visit Sarlat. The food is homemade, the dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious, and the service is both quick and very friendly. An excellent place to enjoy a quality meal in the heart of the city, in a convivial atmosphere. We regularly recommend it to our guests.

26/02/2026: Very pleasant! At the end of February, with the beautiful sunshine, the terrace was full, so there was a bit of a wait, but nothing too bothersome. The service was very friendly, highlighting the local and, more generally, French products used in the cooking. The porcini omelet, the Périgord burger, the Regina pizza, and the Black Angus ribeye steak—we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu.

03/02/2026: The owner was very friendly and understood our broken French. We got kebab wraps with fries. The kebab was large, filling and delicious. The fries were hot (even after walking to our accommodation), crispy and salty, perfect.

20/11/2025: Really tasty! Had falafel in lovely bread with great sauce and great chips on the side. Friendly and quick service. Really recommended. Good vegetarian and vegan options.

24/02/2026: Very tired God forgotten place with food that reminded me of post war times and where cappuccino tasted more like hot chocolate and costs 4 euros per coffee even though the price on the machine clearly states 2.60 euros. It took 5 min for someone to come out from the kitchen to serve us. Food and deco looked so uninviting that we decided to just order a coffee and leave. I would not recommend.

10/02/2026: Update from January 10, 2026: Back at this cafe and it was very, very good, simple, and inexpensive. Basic but very tasty starters. Main course: roast chicken, super delicious, with green vegetables, potatoes, and jus. Absolutely fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was a generous portion! A small chocolate mousse-style dessert, also very good. I loved it because it was well-prepared and homemade; it was absolutely delicious, well done! Original post: Great food. We had the chicken escalope with tarragon sauce, which was to die for: perfectly tender, flavorful, a delight. The vegetables were great. The welcome was incredibly kind and pleasant; we felt very comfortable. The decor is very nice. In short, a good cafe-style restaurant, but of high quality. Just a slightly smaller selection of starters and desserts, but it's not a big deal. Thank you to the owners.

06/01/2026: It's a disgrace, an Americano coffee + a tea for 8 euros when we had lunch an hour earlier in a pastry shop for 8.50 euros which included a hot drink, 2 pastries, a freshly squeezed orange juice and a yogurt, it really poses a problem.

30/12/2025: A real trap... too bad it's not zero stars. We ordered two mulled wines, which were served steaming hot... even the glasses were scalding hot, like they'd just come out of the microwave. To top it all off, it was acidic and undrinkable... we paid and left without a drink, it was so awful. We don't wish you happy holidays!
