23/02/2026: A great discovery this lunchtime: in addition to offering a delicious set menu for €17.50 (raw vegetables, soup, selection of hot dishes, all you can eat), the owner's welcome, his smile and his good humor won us over.

17/02/2026: A fantastic find! The buffet offers over 18 homemade options: "no microwaves, no frozen food," as the owner proudly proclaims. The all-you-can-eat buffet (without dessert) is €17, and given the quality of the food and ingredients, it's well worth it.

A former mountain farm in the Haut Doux region, transformed into a restaurant, this place has a real soul. Even the drive up the snowy road is part of the experience—sometimes a little adventure, but always a memorable moment. The food is simple, authentic, and delicious, just the way we like it in the mountains. And then there's that huge fireplace… where potatoes baked in foil gently warm on a vast bed of embers. An image that perfectly captures the warm atmosphere of the place. A place steeped in history, welcoming, and genuine. Thank you again for this delightful experience, every time I visit.

21/03/2026: A small Moroccan restaurant in the heart of Pontarlier. The service is pleasant and quick, and you can choose between couscous and tagine, provided you order tagine in advance. Everything was excellent: the couscous, the cheese briouat with a touch of honey, and the Moroccan pastries—nothing to complain about.

26/09/2025: Hello everyone! Today my wife and I went to eat at Courte Paille in Pontarlier. We ordered the same dish: a casserole with three types of fish. Unfortunately, the casserole only contained a small piece of salmon with rice and a large piece of lemon. The dish cost €17, and the contents barely filled half of the small casserole. I spoke to the employee, explaining that there was no fish, and she apologized. It's shameful to take advantage of customers. I regret choosing this restaurant. I'm fed up with being ripped off.

23/09/2025: Meh, industrial, and grilled food tastes...too burnt, bland wines! Friendly staff But overall, go there if you have no other options because the prices remain high for salads or basic dishes.
