03/09/2026: I came with a friend for lunch last week and frankly, I was pleasantly surprised by: the cozy, understated, and clean setting; the friendly service with excellent wine recommendations; and the food... perfect! Dishes made with high-quality, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend going; you won't be disappointed. Thank you for this lovely experience. 11/09/2026: A magical discovery. We enjoyed the salads with sorbet or ice cream. Incredible! The pickle sorbet was a real treat. For dessert, we had the gourmet coffee with goat cheese ice cream… Wow… Thank you for this wonderful experience. As a bonus, we also tried the Supreme beer from the Gangloff brewery in Besançon. Definitely worth discovering.

08/06/2026: A wonderful family lunch for a birthday celebration with 35 guests. The quality of the welcome, the meal, the dishes, and the magnificent cake were all excellent, served in a warm and inviting room with pleasant staff. Absolutely top-notch! Thank you so much!

31/08/2026: I genuinely like the concept of working exclusively with local producers, and I went there with positive expectations. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, and it is perhaps the worst dining experience of my life. The combinations were very strange, and the flavors were out of balance. Afterwards, I even had a stomach ache, which unfortunately means I do not look back on this experience with a good feeling. Additionally, I find it regrettable to see that critical reviews are met with sarcastic responses. In my opinion, it would be stronger to invest that time and energy into the dishes and actually do something with recurring feedback.

27/08/2026: We went there on August 27, 2026, with my husband and daughters, following the "Kitchen Nightmares" incident (as we're big fans of the chef). It was the last day of our stay in Besançon. A warm welcome, Julien provided wonderful service, we were able to chat with him for a bit, my daughter loved talking to him and took the opportunity to bring a handful of candy 🤭. Thank you, Julien, the dishes were delicious, congratulations to the chef! We'll definitely be back... it's a shame there are so many roads 🥺 one of the best restaurants for many years now. ❤️

16/08/2026: We had a great time with a group of 10 people for a two-night weekend. For those looking for a charming and authentic natural setting, this is the perfect spot! As for accommodation, we slept in a very pleasant and comfortable yurt. However, next to the yurt, we had the unpleasant surprise of finding a composting toilet that was already quite full and emitting very bad odors... What a shame! Regarding activities, we tried the escape game, which is more of a treasure hunt in the woods. We had a good time: the puzzles and workshops were well-designed. Regarding the food, we had mixed feelings. The meal was very good – we opted for a fondue. However, we were not impressed with the service. Interacting with the waitress was difficult for several reasons. We ate in a room as narrow as a corridor – beware if you are claustrophobic! Although we had expressed a desire to dine outside, given that tables were still available and other customers were dining al fresco, we were subjected to clumsy remarks when the wines were presented to us. For dessert, we had opted for a "café gourmand" with three desserts of our choice, including a mirabelle plum tart, which, for no apparent reason, was replaced with a fresh cheese. We didn't feel welcomed by the waitress; we had the impression we were intruding. Finally, regarding the restaurant's pricing, the bill was inflated compared to what had been initially agreed upon, even though there had been no changes to our order. I find it regrettable that this restaurant experience was marred by a professional who refused to accommodate the simple and understandable requests of customers.

19/07/2026: A magnificent place to organize a seminar or team-building event. Booking and check-in are remarkably simple, making the experience pleasant from the very first contact. The rooms are very comfortable and offer an ideal setting to recharge, in the heart of a peaceful environment, just steps from the source of the Loue River. An address I wholeheartedly recommend.

22/06/2026: An incredible one-night stay with half-board in this gîte during my cycling tour of the Jura mountains. Everything was perfect: the location in the alpine pastures (a real climb!), the huge shower, the shaded terrace, the generous meal, and the breakfast. A wonderful rest after a sporty day. A warm welcome.

25/05/2026: Passing through for one night during the GTJ Gravel race, we stayed in the dormitory. I highly recommend this guesthouse; it has everything you need: comfort, delicious regional dishes, and a fantastic breakfast. The family is truly wonderful.
