11/05/2026: A beautiful group accommodation that I highly recommend. The lovely building has been completely renovated by the owners, offering a truly delightful setting. The accommodation is well-equipped, both inside and out – it has everything you could need! Sébastien, the owner, was very helpful and offered excellent advice, particularly regarding the choice of caterer who provided our meals during our weekend.

07/04/2026: A superb experience at La Truite d'Or guesthouse! We stayed for three nights as part of a business seminar. We loved the common areas and the rooms! The extra touch: the sauna with its cold plunge pool! Many thanks again to Emilie and her team for the organization! I highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: Tonight, dinner with friends at Pizza Piano, a true pizza institution in the heart of Besançon. Taste-wise, it was simply perfect. Generous Italian cuisine where simplicity is elevated by the quality of the ingredients. We started with a beautiful appetizer platter of Italian products accompanied by seasoned pizza dough, perfect for whetting the appetite. Next, pizzas with remarkable flavors: a soft, flavorful, and perfectly executed homemade dough, topped with high-quality ingredients that create an almost perfect balance. The menu also offers more elaborate recipes, ideal for venturing beyond the classics and discovering new gourmet combinations. I finished with an absolutely memorable tiramisu, probably one of the best I've ever tasted: a generous and soft sponge cake, a light and airy cream, enhanced by the crunch of hazelnuts. A true triumph. The wine list also complements the meal very well. In terms of value for money, the menu might seem a bit more expensive than a typical pizzeria, but this is entirely justified by the quality of the ingredients, the overall experience, and the ambiance. The ambiance itself immerses you in a typical Besançon city center building, with its stone walls, blending old-world charm with modern touches in a decor perfectly in keeping with the restaurant's spirit. Finally, the service was impeccable: warm, friendly, and attentive from start to finish, with excellent advice and thorough explanations of the dishes. 01/06/2026: This is the third time I've eaten at this restaurant, and I must say they make the best pizzas in Besançon. The service has always been impeccable. We were very disappointed last Saturday. The food was great, but the service... atrocious! The dishes were thrown onto the table without any ceremony, the waitress was unpleasant throughout the entire meal, and the atmosphere was awful. We were really in a hurry to leave, which is a shame.

The organization with Chantal, then the communication… on the day itself, incredible organization, a top-notch team, always smiling and very helpful. I am truly at a loss for words to describe this experience. The meal was perfect and delicious, as were all the drinks offered at the reception. A huge thank you to Flo, Lenny, Manuel, and Izzy!!!

15/07/2026: For our 60th wedding anniversary, we hired Chantal, who presented the menu and gave us excellent advice. On the day itself, everything was perfect: the cocktail hour with canapés and champagne, and the meal was a true delight enjoyed by all. Thank you for the service; Florence was very professional, smiling, and pleasant, and along with the chef, Philippe, they took great care of us throughout the meal. A real success! I highly recommend Kaf' des Vieux Amants.

05/07/2026: Terrible service. No follow-up whatsoever. Everything was served at different times. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get a single course. And on top of that, part of it was missing; we had to ask for it.

17/05/2026: Excellent fondue where the owner comes to explain what type of Comté cheese was used. Local charcuterie can be added to the fondue. The homemade ice cream and cocktails are excellent, and the owner is very attentive. The oil lamp lighting creates a very cozy atmosphere.
