03/08/2026: Weekend from the evening of July 31st to Sunday, August 3rd... There were two of us, including myself, who is disabled. We had a ground-floor room, which was perfect. We had a wonderful weekend with friendly and dedicated staff. The manager was also very efficient in her role. We chatted with other tourists on the terrace. We sincerely would love to return. Thank you for your hospitality.

30/06/2026: A very bad experience. They made a mistake with our order for a table of eight. The Caesar salad was very average. At 10 pm, we were told we needed to be quieter because there were rooms nearby... The staff made comments that were anything but discreet. Avoid this place at all costs.

30/08/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by this establishment; the welcome was excellent, and the dishes offered were very good and varied. I highly recommend this restaurant.

23/08/2026: Friendly and quick service despite the weekend crowds, I ate the dish of the day which I really liked and an excellent blueberry tart with a coffee.

25/04/2026: I finally got to try this kebab shop in the heart of Valdahon (easy parking) during one of my visits. The place is small but welcoming and has everything you need. There's a terrace outside, set back from the street. The owner is very friendly. They have drinks for all tastes (for me: Coke Zero or equivalent, and Ayran, which is all I expect from a snack bar - but not all of them offer it). The fries are very good (quality and cooked perfectly) and not pre-salted (everyone can add salt to their liking); the durum wrap and the white sauce are also delicious. Yum! Impeccable, and the portions are very generous for a reasonable price. Since I can't drive back down to Besançon with the low sun in my eyes, this is a place I can easily stop by while waiting for it to set.

Having eaten kebabs in numerous French cities (Lille, Mulhouse, Colmar, Strasbourg, Angers, Lyon, Nantes, Rennes...), as well as in Belgium and the Netherlands, Chip Chac ranks among the best, especially in this area. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, generous portions, very reasonable prices, and an excellent homemade white sauce, a far cry from the usual industrial sauces. Impeccable cleanliness, from the kitchen to the restrooms. Professional service and dedicated, helpful owners who genuinely care about customer satisfaction. An address we recommend without hesitation.

25/08/2026: Very disappointed with my pizza, I took an extra burrata for 4 euros, only to end up with a dry and inedible burrata, probably expired, I am disappointed.

15/09/2026: We discovered the grounds and the "La Grande Fouille" flea market thanks to a Wonderbox gift voucher. The mill is very picturesque – that's what really caught our attention. Homemade meals and a family atmosphere. We appreciated being able to share meals at the same table, which encouraged interaction and conversation. We had a lovely night there, and the swimming pool was a bonus.

04/09/2026: The rooms are outdated. No television. The shower drain was clogged with hair, even the owner admitted it. The shower curtain was completely black. Despite this, the room was clean. The meals were simple but hearty and very good. The main problem is the owners: We were greeted by Geneviève, who was very nice, but she and her husband were dressed in rags. She was wearing a dress full of holes. He was in pink shorts and a t-shirt whose color was indistinguishable from the rest of the room, so dirty and faded it was impossible to tell (to be fair, their outfits in the following days were more appropriate), but first impressions are important. Then, for two days, we were subjected to the same speeches from Michel, with no spontaneity whatsoever, just the same words. Many things about the supposed sales and the number of guests we were expecting were hard to believe (for example, the first evening he told us there was a table for 22 people, but the next day there were only 14 of us). It was impossible to have a conversation with him; he didn't accept any disagreement. Everyone had to follow his rules, period. He was the only one allowed to speak while we were talking, and at that point, everyone else had to be quiet. Sir, you are a host, whether you like it or not. People pay to come to your home and are entitled to a minimum of respect. However, I commend your involvement in leather goods and green energy. For our part, we chose to laugh about it with the other guests, but I wouldn't recommend it to my friends and family.

30/08/2026: What a disappointment… I’ve known this kebab place since I was a child, and unfortunately, I find there’s been a complete decline in quality. There’s absolutely no flavor left, whether it’s the meat, the bread, or the vegetables. After eating, I also had a terrible stomach ache. For me, it was one of the only kebabs in downtown Montbéliard that was truly worthwhile. Now, I unfortunately can’t recommend it anymore. For me, that’s it.

22/05/2026: The meat was excellent when the new ownership changed, but they switched to a lower-quality range and it's completely different; it has a different taste. It's a real shame, we won't be back because of it.

12/08/2026: We are standing in front of the establishment, which is closed for summer holidays, but listed as open until 8pm on Google.

24/08/2026: I came for a drink with friends, and the waiter was particularly rude. He made snide remarks to my friends and refused to serve us a drink that was supposed to be free, even though there were six of us ordering and we weren't thirsty. We left, and he wanted to charge us even though we hadn't had a drink yet.

24/08/2026: Hello, today we came to have drinks with friends. The awful waiter forced us to hurry up and order. One of my friends didn't want to order, but he forced him to drink or else he made him leave the bar. He made comments like "hurry up and order" (excessive). Bad experience, I do not recommend it.

20/08/2026: I do not recommend this pizzeria. The service was appalling, with unpleasant and unwelcoming staff. I will never set foot in there again. Very disappointing!

11/09/2026: Absolutely fantastic! The staff are top-notch, incredibly friendly and helpful! I've never been so well received at McDonald's 👌🏼 The burger was straight out of an ad, the fries were perfect—what more could you ask for?!

30/08/2026: Great hotel for a road trip stop! We stayed here for a night during our trip and were really impressed by the bright and unique design featuring cool industrial gear patterns on the walls. The vibrant green sink and sleek shower design added a fun, modern touch to the stay. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were absolutely spotless. The bed was large and cozy with fresh linens, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was good. While the selection was on the smaller side, it had everything you need — cheese, cold cuts, eggs, yogurts (including vegan options), and, of course, delicious coffee to start the day. The hotel provides free parking, and finding a spot was completely problem-free in the night. It is a huge plus that they welcome pets with no issues. We would definitely stay here again.

15/06/2026: I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The young staff, Justine and Florian, as well as Ramage, the hotel's intern, were very welcoming to me every evening.
