09/08/2026: We had a very good meal; the dishes were truly delicious, and we were very pleased with that aspect. However, we were very disappointed by the waiter's attitude. We waited at least 1 hour and 20 minutes before being able to eat, which is already a particularly long time with a young baby. The most regrettable thing is that at no point during our seating or when our order was taken were we informed that there would be approximately a 45-minute wait. There were four of us at the table, and no one else heard this information. It was only when we were paying, when we mentioned the wait, that the waiter claimed to have told us. We could have perfectly well understood a significant wait if it had been communicated to us from the outset. What we regretted most, therefore, was the lack of communication and the waiter's apparent dishonesty in acknowledging the situation. The food was excellent, but the experience was unfortunately spoiled by the wait and the waiter's attitude.

01/04/2026: Restaurant located in a former grocery store. Very welcoming, set menu with reasonable prices and local products. Sparkling aperitif 🥂 with a very smooth chestnut liqueur – a delight. Excellent food. I highly recommend it.

29/03/2026: We ate here on Valentine's Day for a champagne dinner. The dishes were superb. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, all accompanied by free-flowing champagne. The welcome was warm and friendly. The decor is fantastic, in a historic building in the center of Valence.

25/04/2026: We tried this restaurant a year ago. If you want to eat there on a weekend, Saturday or Sunday, you have to book well in advance. What a shame! But since we couldn't get a reservation, we'll try again, hoping for better luck this time.

25/07/2026: You might think it's just a little roadside restaurant, but it was delicious. We chose prawns with ravioli and a side salad. Everything was top-notch. €70 for 2 prawn platters, 2 white wines, sparkling water, a double espresso, and a cappuccino.

10/07/2026: What can I say… nothing but positive things to say! We came as a group of five, including three children. A warm welcome, a limited menu but fresh, high-quality ingredients! We ate like kings, and the interaction with the staff (owner and waitress alike) was truly excellent! You were so attentive throughout the entire evening. We discovered this restaurant by chance, but we will definitely be back for our next vacation next year! Looking forward to seeing you again, The Belgian Five Team.

25/07/2026: How I miss the old owners! A lamb couscous served all in one dish, when the semolina and vegetables should be in separate dishes so you can serve yourself as you like and add as much broth as you want. A single piece of meat is overpriced at €21!

The manager was unpleasant because, obviously, the customer was in the wrong. She didn't accept any feedback. It's true, I don't know what cooked peppers and Chardonnay taste like! What an idiot I am! The waitresses were super friendly, and the place is truly beautiful! What a shame! I just had bad luck. Personally, I won't be back!
