02/12/2025: An absolutely perfect stay! The castle is magnificent, the room spacious and elegant, and every detail exudes charm and serenity. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, a true delight to start the day. The staff were wonderful from beginning to end: attentive, smiling, and always responsive to our needs. A truly wonderful discovery that I highly recommend. We will definitely return!

02/12/2025: We stayed at Chateau de Fontager for 4 days. From start to finish we were greeted by friendly staff who were ready to help with everything. Nice rooms, clean and tidy. Lovely breakfast served in the most beautiful surroundings (the Bistro). We ate at Chant de la Source (the hotel's gourmet restaurant) and WAUW! Absolutely fantastic experience. From the food to the service - thank you for the experience. We will definitely be back!

19/11/2025: Absolutely fantastic! 👌🏼 The only downside is the lack of non-alcoholic cocktails or beers 🤷🏼‍♀️ That would be great! 🤗

09/09/2025: Simply brilliant, the concept of an open stage on Tuesday evenings is fantastic. It's an opportunity to share a musical moment with musicians, sometimes just passing through!

01/09/2024: Cute restaurant full of food, beautiful dishes for not very expensive and attentive service. Open from morning to evening, involved and passionate restaurateurs. More than a repair on the road or while camping, a good dinner at reasonable prices.

15/11/2024: Poor quality food (pizza toppings among others), not good beer, more than unpleasant welcome and often a lot of waiting without even a gesture, a peanut to wait or even just a smile) And no, I didn't go to the wrong establishment, as is often your answer! Here in Buis people know! It's been more than 10 years that from time to time I have tried to come again and each time the same observation! No wonder the Buxois are no longer there in number

10/11/2024: Really not great, the fries, if you can call them fries, soaked in oil! inedible, very noisy, I do not recommend.

02/10/2024: Very good insulation of the rooms, comfortable beds, superb decoration of the hall and chatty restaurant (in fact I recommend the truffle crocs) but the hamres are very dated

24/06/2025: Without a reservation, we were accepted onto the terrace at 12:20 although there were already many tables occupied. When the waiter offered us an aperitif without giving a menu, I indicated that I was already hungry. He indicated that there would be a wait, but I confirmed that it would not last more than 1/2 hour. The aperitif was served without any snacks. The waiter circulated between the tables with an obvious level of stress. Alas, at 1 p.m. passed without even having the menu, we understood that it was time to leave and never come back!!

29/12/2024: An excellent meal with a very kind and approachable chef. A service full of kindness and enthusiasm. Our two daughters also enjoyed it. Very friendly place. We will come back very soon. THANKS !

04/12/2024: This evening I ordered a water syrup and a shandy at the bar = I was charged 10 euros!!! While the prices displayed on the site are = syrup 2 euros and mixed = 3.50 euros!! I asked if there wasn't an error? And the boss told me no! Well done scammers!! No wonder this bar is completely empty at aperitif time!! But it must also be said that we are freezing there!! In addition to being cheated!

31/08/2024: Place 1 order for 3 tacos and 1 kebab. In the end only 3 tacos however we can handle 4 menus...... Thank you and forever

14/08/2024: I ordered a Tacos tender menu. I strongly believe that meat and vegetables were unvaried.

15/12/2024: The food is very good for a very reasonable price. The plates are very garnished. On the other hand, do not go there on a holiday because the wait is very long, too bad they are victims of their success. For children's menus, providing cottage cheese would be wise because ice cream for January is limited....

29/09/2024: We had reserved access to the spa for 6 people, towels are not provided as well as flip-flops, no information was given beforehand on this subject, information normally transmitted by email, despite traveling to the site for the reservation . The relaxing armchairs in the Himalayan salt room do not work... (If we refer to other reviews they have not worked since July) Cleanliness leaves something to be desired... Only one shower for the women's locker room... Certainly the rooms and the restaurant are worth it, the spa area and the welcome are far from up to par. We are unanimously disappointed!
