12/08/2026: I recommend it. I had the dish of the day (Italian-style veal osso buco), which was very good. My wife ordered the fish with vegetables from the menu; she found the fillet smaller than expected.

09/08/2026: It all started with a warm and attentive welcome, which was lovely despite the late hour, as we were among the last customers before closing time. The wok was excellent, a little spicy but not too much, and the portion was very generous. Thank you, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The wait time was very reasonable, and the staff was both elegant and relaxed. If I come back to Chartres, I'll definitely return.

21/08/2026: The toilets were only 20% full and dirty. The restaurant was dirty and overpriced. We wish we'd crossed the street to eat at the restaurant across the way.

16/08/2026: The Milanese cutlets are sold at an exorbitant price of 17 euros and are bland and tasteless. The potatoes are equally bland. The coffees are decent despite their excessive and unjustified prices. Avoid.

There are no eggs, no fruit salad, and quite a few things are missing, especially regional products and homemade jam. Considering the price of the evening, which is around €125, the breakfast is a bit disappointing. That would be the only point that could be improved.

17/07/2026: A fantastic spot in Dreux! Quality products, excellent cocktails, and delicious desserts. The relaxed, informal atmosphere, with its shaded terrace and welcoming ambiance, is perfect for unwinding. Plus, Les Sister's is now open until late on Thursdays and Fridays. A must-try!

25/08/2026: We had already enjoyed a very pleasant evening at Café Serpente on our way back from our holiday in Brittany. But we were especially impressed by the kindness and service of the team after our visit. Our son had left his brand-new shoes at the restaurant. After contacting them from Germany, they found them and even sent them to us by mail, very kindly and without expecting any payment. When we offered to thank them with an extra €20 on top of the shipping costs, they declined and simply asked us to leave a short review. 😊 Truly exceptional service and kindness that we won't forget! A huge thank you to Julien and the entire team at Café Serpente. If we're ever back in Chartres, we'll definitely return!

11/07/2026: There were six of us for lunch this Saturday at Le Vallon de Cherisy. We were all very satisfied. The welcome was excellent, and from the aperitif to the dessert, everything was perfect: beautifully cooked, high quality, and homemade. We will definitely be back.
