Exorbitant price in view of the general service.

23/09/2024: Very kind welcome. High prices as in the whole village. The little fruit drinks are pretty good, as are the mini cookies. A piano player was playing cool music, and silk hens were walking quietly nearby.
23/09/2024: Not made house, room, dust everywhere huge spider web, window of the veranda room.
Neglected place. Too bad because there is potential.
Very long service even though there is no one in front of me.
Tea room with little choice of tea.
Coffee too hot and not good.

05/11/2024: (Friday November 1st) The bistro is not the only restaurant at the Grand Cerf hotel (the others are better and more expensive). Excellent cuisine in a friendly, somewhat tight space, overlooking the magnificent Place de Lyons. Perhaps a server was missing at peak time but the two present were very good.

Un tiers de petit gobelet d'un café très moyen et une noisette insoupçonnable... Le tout pour le prix exorbitant de 2€85! Pas meilleur que dans les machines automatiques.
09/09/2024: Very unpleasant staff. I had the impression that the two people were annoyed while serving me but I didn't take it too seriously at the time because I thought it was due to the large crowd. But when we had to collect our poor unfortunate coffee that had already been paid for, the staff had changed but had the same coldness. They pretended to ignore me for a long time. Having a young child, it was difficult for me to wait for one of them to deign to take care of me. I asked my friend who would accompany me. I tried to call them to finally get our coffee back, they were super unpleasant. If I pass by again I will never linger in this store.

06/09/2024: Had a lovely vegetarian meal here. The owner was very friendly and kind. Food came quickly and husband enjoyed plenty of salad with plain omelette. I had salad with goats cheese and stuffed vine leaves. Good size meal. Would have been extra nice with a few nuts or lentils with my salad but overall tasty and excellent value for money.

The waitress runs everywhere; It's a rush, she has a dynamic smile and is super nice!
The menu is simple and effective.
The prices are more than reasonable.
The dish of the day, the Normandy escalope is perfect.
The butcher's piece is TOP for 16 euros
Many thanks for the service.
We will definitely come back on our next visit to the area.
