10/12/2023: Very beautiful tavern, on the edge of the stream. Freshness guaranteed even when it's hot. Simple cuisine (3 starters 3 courses + of the day) but very efficient and good. Few places, so you have to be there early for a good table. Otherwise we wait, but fairly quick turnover with foreign tourists. 👍🏻

06/04/2024: We have been having our pizzas here for several months, already because they are good, there is a choice of desserts which are also very good, we are very well received every time. The prices are very reasonable, for two senior pizzas with two desserts, we get it for less than thirty-five euros. I obviously recommend this place, and we will continue to go there.

02/04/2024: We stayed two nights in the Duplex suite, as a family with our 19 month old daughter. Beautiful spacious suite with living room, TV and a baby bed on the ground floor. Upstairs is the parental bed, TV, WC and a large bathroom with walk-in shower... a bathtub would have been more appreciated given the size of the room and for this type of suite. We were surprised not to find a mini fridge, which would have been practical especially with a baby (storing meals etc). Big problem with the heater which makes a lot of noise when you start it. So we preferred to sleep without it rather than risk waking our daughter 🥶 Overall we had a good stay, the hotel is beautiful and very well located with very friendly and helpful staff despite the weak points mentioned above.

02/04/2024: Taking advantage of a Smartbox box, we discovered this magnificent establishment during the Easter weekend. We were able to stay in the duplex suite for an additional fee due to an upgrade from our original reservation. Very large and beautiful suite with chic and elegant decoration with floor. The hotel and its restaurant section have a very beautiful and elegant decoration which is worth a detour. The staff is also very friendly, helpful and not intrusive, which we appreciated. Unfortunately there are a few areas for improvement that would have made our stay even better. Starting with a mini refrigerator in the room, especially for a duplex suite (the most expensive in the hotel), with a child this would have allowed us to preserve certain foods. A bathtub in the huge bathroom would also have been nice. There is a huge walk-in shower which could have accommodated a bathtub in addition to the shower, this bathroom is so large, it's a shame. Despite these different points, we had a pleasant stay (2 nights) in this establishment, ideally placed for discovering the town of Vernon as well as the gardens and Monet's house in Giverny. We will certainly stay there again when visiting Pacy sur Eure. Thanks again.

18/02/2024: From the reservation to the bill everything was successful. I booked for 7 adults, for our mother's 87th birthday, the choice of each dish, each drink was a delight to taste. The birthday cake entrusted to the hands of the chef confirmed that this place is a true showcase of the know-how of French cuisine. Each of the dishes, pure creation of the chef, was a pleasure for the taste buds for each guest. I will note that the little taste surprises offered by the chef enhanced this evening. The service was worthy of the place and the dishes served. True professionalism, while remaining attentive to the needs, questions and pace of customers. A truly flawless experience shared with family during this evening at the Manoir du soleil d’or. My family and I would like to express our sincere congratulations to the two managers of this beautiful Manoir du soleil d’or. We will return, as soon as the weather is nice, to your beautiful setting of a true culinary gem, where the know-how of welcoming marries the culinary knowledge of the chef of the place's kitchen.
