14/03/2026: A very good experience; the decor takes you back in time. The layout and tableware are unique, with animal hides covering the seats, etc. The food is simple but very good. I will return and I recommend it.

14/04/2026: We had lunch at L'Amandier on Sunday as a family. We hadn't seen each other for Easter, and there were little eggs on the table. A thoughtful touch, wasn't it? Then came a warm welcome from Béatrice, who made sure we had everything we needed. A young, discreet, and efficient waiter, and finally, refined, inventive, and beautifully presented cuisine (and the portions weren't tiny). In short, a place to recommend, the kind of place you don't find very often anymore. Thank you!

03/04/2026: An exceptional experience at L’Amandier in Bourg-Achard! Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The welcome was warm and very professional; you immediately felt at ease. The dishes were simply incredible: from the appetizer to the dessert, every bite was a true delight. The flavors were expertly balanced, the ingredients were high-quality, and the presentation was impeccable. Honestly, I have never eaten so well. It's a place I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will definitely return. Bravo to the entire team!

30/04/2026: The food was very good and well-spiced. I'm giving it 3 stars because the tablecloth on our table was all stained and wet, and the smell of cigarettes was just unbearable (customers outside the restaurant were smoking in front of the open door, which was just okay).

21/04/2026: Simply the best Indian restaurant I know! I'm of Indian origin and just passing through Evreux, as I'm from Paris. This unassuming restaurant stands out for the quality of its dishes! And especially for the presentation of the food directly on the plate, rather than in the traditional small dishes (which is what all Indian restaurants do). This gives it a professional, "French-style" feel. Of course, the blend of spices makes the dishes delicious. I loved the Chicken Xacutti. I sincerely recommend it without hesitation.

09/03/2026: We invited our children to discover this already well-regarded restaurant with us. A warm welcome, a pleasant atmosphere, and very good couscous. The meat was excellent, with the exception of the kebab, which wasn't as good as the other cuts. This kebab was a letdown; the meat was tough and tasteless. It's curious, considering the rest of the couscous was excellent. We will gladly return when we are in the area again. A bottle of Boulaouane wine was served open. That's not customary in France, but it's a minor detail. Thank you again.

15/02/2026: A fantastic discovery! A truly welcoming restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and traditional decor that immediately immerses you in the ambiance. The service is top-notch, the staff are smiling and very attentive. And what can I say about the food… a real treat! The couscous is excellent, generous, flavorful, made with quality ingredients and perfectly balanced spices. Everything was delicious from start to finish. I highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be back! 👌✨

05/05/2026: A very pleasant surprise! We were in the area before arriving in Giverny. We called ahead and were given a table on the terrace. We shared a "metzes," a set menu with several small dishes, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for this culinary journey to Lebanon!

28/03/2026: Traveling to buy a car, a 3-hour drive with 3 kids. Needed a small restaurant to heat up a bottle and grab a bite before heading back. And then I was blown away. A random restaurant... but! The decor was tasteful, the attention to detail evident in everything from the leather placemats to the beautifully designed living wall. Blankets on the outdoor terrace to keep our legs warm. Who hasn't had a blanket on a terrace to enjoy the sun but be sheltered from the drafts? The service was top-notch! I called 10 minutes beforehand to make sure I got a table. A warm welcome. A baby seat was available in a space with enough room for a stroller. Perfect! The food... Fries cooked in beef fat. My sirloin steak was perfectly cooked. For the kids, two perfectly cooked, rare hamburgers with a side of fries. It was the first time they'd ever had fries like that, and they loved them—plates were empty! We weren't originally there for fries, but we were pleasantly surprised! Thank you.

21/04/2026: Great atmosphere, but the foie gras was a shame—too fatty and not very generous for the price of €17, which is a bit expensive. The salad (too few leaves and other bits) and the ribs were perfect. As for the fries, the portion size should be reduced. Otherwise, the band was great and the staff were pleasant.

02/02/2026: The place is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The lady is incredibly kind. And the food, above all, is amazing! The filling for the brick pastry is fantastic, but even the brick pastry itself releases incredible aromas. The mastery of the spices is absolutely astounding. Quite simply the best couscous I've ever eaten.
