19/04/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. From the appetizer to the main course, everything was excellent. The welcome was very warm, and I always felt very welcome. I recommend it 100%.

02/02/2026: The place is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The lady is incredibly kind. And the food, above all, is amazing! The filling for the brick pastry is fantastic, but even the brick pastry itself releases incredible aromas. The mastery of the spices is absolutely astounding. Quite simply the best couscous I've ever eaten.

The meal is superb, with small pastries, an amuse-bouche, a starter, an ice cream, a main course, cheese, and dessert for the tasting menu. The service is particularly remarkable. The setting is pleasant, with tables well-spaced. In the summer, you can enjoy the peaceful terrace. The interior is very cozy. A highly recommended address.

Aperitifs and wine are also very reasonably priced. The owner is very friendly. A minor drawback: the service is a bit slow and it's quite noisy in the pergola.

01/06/2026: The atmosphere was straight out of an Agatha Christie film; we spent our entire stay wondering about the identity of the killer of Belle Isle-sur-Risle. We particularly enjoyed the pianist, the mirrors, and the very chic period decor. The hotel is filled with the scents of Normandy. The room was spacious, with a lovely bathroom and an exceptionally comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor pool and the spa. The hotel's surroundings are very pleasant, with a large garden and a particularly welcoming town with plenty of small shops. When will they film the mystery of Belle Isle-sur-Risle?!
