24/08/2024: La Huchette does good solid regional cuisine well, in a relaxing and unpretentious setting. It’s not going to blow your socks off with creativity or powerful flavours - it just about supports the Michelin star - but based on our experience you will have an enjoyable meal. We had the 5 courses for €75. Excellent amuse bouche at the start, and an unusual, seemingly steamed, bread roll with garlic butter. Decent cod pre-starter, and well crafted starters - slow cooked egg yolk, mousse and bits of veg for some, Charolais beef and beetroot for others. Our bresse chicken main was on the traditional side but came with a tasty morel sauce. It doubled as the “nugget” on the children’s menu. Desserts were OK. Staff very friendly, and quite a festive atmosphere inside. Not the awkward hush you still get in some restaurants around here. The pricing is largely as you would expect for a hotel restaurant with a star, but (a €14 kir aperitif aside) the extras are reasonably priced so the final bill doesn’t come with big surprises. Coffee for 2.50, 2 wines for 15, and so on. Children’s menu an acceptable €22. We didn’t stay at the hotel but it looks

07/09/2024: Je suis venue manger un midi dans ce restaurant et j'ai été extrêmement déçu par la qualité et les saveurs des plats . Se restaurant était une très bonne adresse avant.. depuis sa reprise, elle ne fait que diminuer en qualité.. J'avais pris le plat du jour, veau en sauce avec des pâtes et du gratin .

07/12/2023: Pas pratique comme endroit pour travailler si besoin. Je m'y étais mise exprès pour cela, et ayant un appel important à passer j'ai demandé la possibilité d'arreter la musique un peu forte qq instants (le bar était quasiment vide à ce moment la). Le patron n'a pas été arrangeant et m'a demandé d'aller dehors si je ne voulais pas de musique...

28/05/2024: A simple location from the outside with a super nice boss and very good food. We came here by chance in the evening and were the only guests. The food was very good and the boss had time for us. Gladly again.

07/08/2024: Very nice place with very competent and attentive staff. We ordered crepes, they were served cold. The biggest downside for me is the crowds at the place. It would be wise to set up a security team. Lots of incivility from certain customers.

23/07/2024: I celebrated the birthday of a friend Chantal. I am delighted. The welcome by the waitresses was perfect, they are very valiant and attentive, the menu, nothing to complain about, very good, and the boss was kind enough to make a strawberry fondant. for our Chantal's birthday. I really recommended this place... with the swimming pool and its banana trees... a very beautiful place..

The dinner went perfectly with the warm summer evening and wasn't too heavy; The only thing left to mention is the breakfast, which was completely satisfactory for the hikers.

22/08/2024: We ate with my wife one evening.. very nice waitress but who did not tell us the specificity of Parisian Gnocchi, so we were disappointed.. My dish, mushroom tagliatelle with sirloin steak was good, well executed. Ice cream for dessert, a glacier in the Alps that we know well, visibly poorly preserved because it is full of crystals.. The waitress does not warn us that she is leaving, we find ourselves alone in the dining room, no one in the kitchen, 45 minutes to wait, we decide to leave after looking for someone to take the bill, the chef ends up introducing himself, not a commercial gesture or an apology, the bill amounts to €60 for 1 beer, a kir, two dishes and a dessert.. We would have thought we were in a hidden camera. Too bad, there is a serious lack of professionalism in this restaurant. It ruined our evening.

27/07/2024: We are loyal customers, whether for the winter or summer menu. Never disappointed, the quality of the dishes is excellent, the atmosphere is warm. In winter, the room has mountain decoration and accompanied by a traditional raclette is a must. In summer, the cozy terrace with its relaxation area is just very pleasant. The boss also has an absolutely friendly dog ​​who is basically the mascot of the establishment. I can only recommend this restaurant in Amberieu in Bugey

22/09/2024: Hotel booked randomly on the road. Magnificent Hotel, an exceptional view of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. The junior suite is spacious and modern. A message from the receptionist welcomed us to the room. The balcony of the room allows you, on this Sunday morning when I am writing these lines, to enjoy the view while enjoying your coffee, in absolute calm and a hypnotic landscape. The staff is great! It is now our essential stopover point!

26/08/2024: Excellent time spent at Le Panorama restaurant for dinner! Warm welcome, very pleasant aperitif on the terrace facing a magnificent view of the Alps, cozy and tastefully decorated restaurant room, delicious dishes, high quality products. Very pleasant and professional service, sound advice. Absolutely worth discovering!
