29/09/2024: Too expensive for almost canteen food

28/09/2024: The food is very good, whether it's the frogs, the chicken with cream and morels, the veal tartare... In addition, the service is very pleasant and available. So everything to have a good time.

11/09/2025: We only had lunch at the restaurant, not staying at the hotel. The meal was okay, but nothing special. Definitely, don't order the tiramisu, as it's a very dry biscuit that hasn't been dipped in Marsala coffee. It's disappointing.

08/09/2025: Beautiful hotel with a lovely garden and pool. Parking is available within their gate. However, breakfast is served at their other location, a 5-minute walk away. A good breakfast with a wide selection costs €18. It's located in the village center, very central.

28/11/2024: Frankly, there is no point in giving you a 50-line report! This restaurant is simply amazing! For me it just lacks a Michelin star 🌟! Bravo to the kitchens and a big congratulations to the service which is impeccable! 😍😍😍😍 We will definitely come back!!!! Ps: taste this Bresse chicken, we have been to a lot of restaurants and it has never been so good. (And simple)

07/12/2023: Pas pratique comme endroit pour travailler si besoin. Je m'y étais mise exprès pour cela, et ayant un appel important à passer j'ai demandé la possibilité d'arreter la musique un peu forte qq instants (le bar était quasiment vide à ce moment la). Le patron n'a pas été arrangeant et m'a demandé d'aller dehors si je ne voulais pas de musique...

20/07/2026: One word: "magnificent!" We celebrated our wedding at Le Chanel on June 15th and it was unforgettable. The decor was magnificent, with superb details, and the meal was excellent and plentiful (kudos to the chef!). We certainly didn't leave hungry! You can tell the manager loves her work and goes out of her way for her clients, even finding a quiet corner to feed my son... a smile from beginning to end! She was full of helpful advice and met all our needs! The place was clean and well-maintained! So yes!!! I recommend it 100%! Go for it, you won't be disappointed!!! And a huge thank you again! You are amazing!!!!! Le Chanel was recommended to me, and I recommend it in turn!!!!!!!!

05/05/2026: I only tried the restaurant, and it's definitely not worth the price! I had half my plate of fatty chicken removed, and there wasn't a single vegetable to go with it. My partner's burger had no sauce (it was a bit bland). There was no water on the table. It was a public holiday, so we were told the menu would actually be à la carte (more expensive) for exactly the same dishes. The waiter didn't even look at us while speaking. We would have ordered the set menu, but in the end, we only ordered the main course (thankfully, given how bad it was...). However, the young women at reception were incredibly friendly and smiling, and the setting is beautiful. We were offered cheese gougères as an appetizer, which were very good, and small hazelnut financiers after the main course, which were also very good. We didn't have dessert or coffee, slightly disappointed by the €85 we spent on a plate of chicken, a burger, and two sodas...

09/12/2023: A little disappointed with the menu. The carp gougeonnettes were a little bland, lacking in seasoning! Ditto frogs….. chicken dish with morel sauce and entrecôte it was ok but lacked flavor too. the ice cream desserts from the Alps: good but hey everyone knows…. The waitress, on the other hand, was very friendly. The value for money is a little expensive...139 euros for 3 without aperitifs, only a pitcher of white and rosé wine.

12/11/2023: A very good address that we are delighted to have discovered, The service is a little long but the culinary level makes us forget this detail... We started with an appetizer offered on our arrival (foie gras crème brûlée) Then we took the menus at 30th As a starter, choice between terrine or carp goujonettes with tartar sauce. The 2 dishes are validated 😊 served with green salad and grated carrots Then, choice between part of Butcher with shallot sauce or lamb shank. Also validated. Mention to the butcher's piece which was as melt-in-your-mouth as possible The 2 dishes were accompanied by butternut puree, zucchini flan and gratin dauphinois! Delicious ! The menu included cheese or fromage blanc. We opted for dry cheese: 5 top selections! And finally the desserts, 5 to choose from if I remember correctly and we had a gingerbread pear crumble and a chartreuse crème brulée! An explosion of flavors whether one or the other A very good time spent at this address. Possibility of eating Bresse chicken and frogs. We will come back !

24/08/2025: Since the new owners arrived, it's been great. They're very nice. The rooms are clean, perfect. The restaurant is top-notch. Delicious. They're very professional. I highly recommend it.

08/02/2026: Catastrophic service. Mistakes from order placement to checkout. Only 3 tables (6 people) and we were all affected. Amusing at first, then quickly embarrassing. A complete overhaul is essential. A shame, because the place itself is pleasant.

13/11/2025: Lunch at the restaurant today – a disaster! The chef's suggestion – prawn risotto for €20 – sounded good on paper. It was noon, the first customer of the day, and the risotto looked like rice mush. The prawns were overcooked, and there was burnt cooking fat on the side. I left three-quarters of it. The waiter asked if it was okay, and I told him it was disgusting. He said, "Don't move, I'll tell the chef," but nothing happened. Apparently, that's normal; the chef must have made the risotto around 10 am and reheated it for lunch. The result: €30 and not an apology. Honestly, go eat somewhere else; you'll have a much better time.
