12/06/2026: We discovered L'Ardoise several years ago by chance. We return every year, and several times if we can. A very nice and varied menu, out of the ordinary, with some dishes featuring Asian influences (the spring roll is excellent), and a good selection for meat lovers as well. The prices are quite reasonable. The service is very welcoming and friendly. In short, a great find, I highly recommend it.

The excellent welcome from a professional waiter, who explains the ingredients of each dish without being intrusive, makes all the difference. Authentic and expertly prepared cuisine, perfect presentation. The dishes are accompanied by sublime sauces. The chef uses local products. A significant advantage in terms of value for money. The young Chef Bastien is a star; friendly and attentive, he comes to say a few words to the customers before we leave, a lovely touch. Our evening was a delight that we will definitely repeat. For those who don't know, Chef Bastien hosts a truffle dinner evening in January (he doesn't skimp on the truffles). Absolutely divine! You have to book as early as December. This year, we were lucky that, given the overwhelming number of calls, he organized another evening. So, just to be safe, I set a reminder for a reservation in December 2026.

21/05/2026: If you're visiting Gréoux-les-Bains, this is the restaurant you absolutely must try. The dishes are generous, delicious, and above all, the owner is very friendly.

05/05/2026: I felt the need to review this because the food was so bad. I feel that the good reviews must be fake. I got the veggie burger and my husband got the regular burger. My veggie burger was two hash brown patties 😟 and my husband ordered a medium-rare burger that came well-done. The saving grace was the wine was decent for only 3.50 a glass and the fries were pretty good with the dipping sauce. Also, the service was good and the atmosphere was nice (the town is just so picturesque). This just ended up feeling like a tourist trap, but we were starving so we ate the food anyway. This was our first night, so really hoping the rest of the food isn’t so bad in town.

The chef comes to check on you to make sure everything is alright, which is worth mentioning because it's not common practice anymore. Be aware that you need to book in advance, otherwise it's full on the spot.

08/06/2026: I had the opportunity to discover Le Couvent des Minimes during a dinner at its Michelin-starred restaurant, and the experience was remarkable. The setting is simply sublime, one of the most beautiful establishments I have ever visited. The welcome was warm and professional, and the staff were incredibly attentive throughout the evening. Dinner was a truly delightful discovery, with refined cuisine that cleverly blends the influences of Burgundy and Provence. The flavor combinations were original and offered wonderful gastronomic discoveries. The only slight point to note: several dishes featured very pronounced flavors of anise, fennel, and tarragon. Those who appreciate these flavors will undoubtedly enjoy them, but it's best to have a taste for them to fully appreciate the menu. A truly wonderful experience in an exceptional setting, which I highly recommend.
