21/08/2026: The staff were very unpleasant. We didn't feel welcome and ultimately decided to leave for a warmer, more welcoming place. Very disappointing.

20/08/2026: I think your response ultimately reveals much more about your establishment than my review. I'd simply like to clarify a few points: yes, my friend was coming from Marseille by train, and her train was delayed. I took the trouble to call you to let you know, precisely out of respect for your organization. While we arrived later than expected, that didn't give you the right to speak to us that way, nor, especially, to follow us to the parking lot and shout at us. Regarding the table, I never asked to "rule the roost." I simply asked very politely if it would be possible to sit at a table for two that was right next to us. You were free to refuse, and we were equally free to leave if we weren't comfortable. In fact, we left politely, without any fuss or disrespect to anyone. I never criticized your waitress for being pregnant. Being pregnant is absolutely not the issue. What bothered me was the way my request was received and the reaction that followed. As for your husband following us to the parking lot to "put us in our place," I'll let you judge for yourself how inappropriate this behavior was towards two customers who had just left your establishment. Finally, the remarks about "my age," my "friend from Marseille," the customers who supposedly made fun of us, or even the "two fewer frustrated customers" are completely unnecessary and particularly contemptuous. You had every right to give your side of the story, but you could have done so without belittling us personally. Therefore, I stand by my opinion and simply regret having had this experience. I wish you all the best and, above all, much success in the future of your establishment.

03/09/2026: We had lunch on the terrace, shaded by awnings in the courtyard of this beautifully restored and decorated former farmhouse. Who would suspect such a charming spot in a commercial area, hidden behind its stone walls? The service was stylish without being stuffy; the waiters presented the different set menus. The wait was a little long for a weekday lunch; we would have appreciated some olives to enjoy with our glass of Vermentino while we waited. The €26 set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was entirely satisfactory: excellent value for money. However, we were slightly disappointed with the "ceviche with leche de tigre," which wasn't spicy enough, marinated enough, or hot enough, and also lacked that touch of lemon and coriander. But it was still a very pleasant discovery. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

08/06/2026: I had the opportunity to discover Le Couvent des Minimes during a dinner at its Michelin-starred restaurant, and the experience was remarkable. The setting is simply sublime, one of the most beautiful establishments I have ever visited. The welcome was warm and professional, and the staff were incredibly attentive throughout the evening. Dinner was a truly delightful discovery, with refined cuisine that cleverly blends the influences of Burgundy and Provence. The flavor combinations were original and offered wonderful gastronomic discoveries. The only slight point to note: several dishes featured very pronounced flavors of anise, fennel, and tarragon. Those who appreciate these flavors will undoubtedly enjoy them, but it's best to have a taste for them to fully appreciate the menu. A truly wonderful experience in an exceptional setting, which I highly recommend.

07/09/2026: Perfect value for money. Generous crêpes, special mention for the Provençal spritz and the Provençal crêpe => a crêpe filled with ratatouille, topped with cured ham, local goat cheese, and to finish it off, lavender jam! Absolutely delicious! Very friendly staff. A place to remember.

06/09/2026: This afternoon, I had a Gavot salad on the terrace. I finished my salad with the two rolled slices of cured ham, and as I was unrolling the first one, a large green fly fluttered out and fell off the plate, landing squashed on the floor. Inside the slice of cured ham were fly eggs. The waitress came to clear our table, and I explained the problem. The owner came over, and I explained the situation to her. Her only response was to offer me a coffee or a digestif with a knowing look, which I refused. We were charged €21.90 for the salad at the counter, and the cashier simply shrugged. To avoid a scene on the crowded terrace, and to avoid the already bewildered table next to us, we were ripped off by the owner! Completely unprofessional and unhygienic—avoid at all costs!

05/08/2026: Found thanks to Google Maps. It was perfect: excellent, generously filled crepes, excellent cider, and ice cream too. So, if you're feeling a bit peckish, go there without hesitation ☺️😋 and the young waitress was very friendly 😍. It was so good that we went back in August 2026 👌😁

01/08/2026: Disappointing crêperie. Based on all the positive reviews, we expected a delicious meal like in Brittany, but that wasn't the case. I highly recommend a culinary internship in Brittany. The crêpes were too basic, lacking originality, and the menu accurately reflects the quality of the food: too simple! However, I did notice the friendly welcome!

18/07/2026: A delightful discovery: a holiday in the Alpes de Haute Provence that brought a touch of Réunion to your everyday life. Generous portions and flavors we love so much in Réunion (974), all accompanied by the local beer, of course! Highly recommended!

18/08/2026: My wife and I showed up without a reservation and were flatly refused, even though the place was practically empty. I had the unpleasant feeling that the problem wasn't table availability, but rather something else (our attire? My head and shoes were wet from the recent downpour? My imperfect French pronunciation when introducing ourselves?) The head waiter's "NO!" seemed too immediate and peremptory, and above all, rude and disrespectful, after another waiter had seemed more open about table availability. I don't know, it's probably just my gut feeling, but that's what it was. We'll be back at Barcelonnette, but certainly not here. --------- It's true, I didn't even eat, but the star is for kindness; that should come first, even before sitting down, and it was missing.

03/07/2026: What a wonderful surprise! This hotel was recently taken over by a young couple (Pauline and Romain) who are absolutely fantastic. They embody everything you look for in a hotel: friendly, welcoming, attentive, helpful, and pleasant. I could go on and on, as I saw nothing but positive things to say. This hotel, their hotel, is impeccably maintained and very pleasant: lovely rooms, beautiful decor, a quiet location, a lovely lounge, a bar, an indoor terrace and an outdoor terrace for breakfast or dinner, and a beautiful terrace overlooking a lovely natural area. The breakfast buffet is very varied, with both sweet and savory options; some homemade items are also available, such as pancakes, cakes, and yogurt. In short, a highly recommended hotel; I would have gladly given it 6 stars. Furthermore, it is possible to store and recharge electric bikes. It's located in a spot that offers easy access to the entire Allos Valley, all the way to the mountain pass. From the hotel, numerous hiking and cycling trails are easily and quickly accessible. It's a truly fantastic starting point. We'll be back to continue exploring this beautiful valley. One last thing: Pauline, Romain, thank you!

03/06/2026: We were living the life of Riley 🥰 A huge thank you for the warm welcome, especially since we were the only adventurers there that day 😉 The cozy room on the second floor was... cozy 😅: completely renovated, impeccable bedding, a practical and spacious bathroom. All very clean with a lovely view! A fantastic breakfast with homemade and local products (yum!). Sitting facing the garden, the day began peacefully. The owners are charming and only want your comfort. We'll be back 😁😁😁😁
