11/09/2026: Staying in Le Cheylard, I went to this brasserie on the recommendation of the local bike shop owner.
No frills, and that's perfect.
Simple yet well-prepared. SO GOOD! Goat cheese ravioli and finely chopped homemade fruit salad. 😍 The owner was very attentive.
08/09/2026: Excellent restaurant for finding local products.
The burger with caillette (a type of sausage) and goat cheese (Ardèche burger) is a real treat.
The Ardèche sundae is rich in chestnut cream.
A truly great experience.

03/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! This little restaurant offered excellent products, everything was homemade, and the price was great value. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! And the owner was very friendly.

We had a wonderful meal!
13/07/2026: Family of four plus a dog had meal with three pizzas and a steak. Pizzas were rated average by everyone, a bit too much tasteless cheese. The steak was okay. Service was friendly. All in all a very medium experience. Plastic cutlery and chairs on a very warm night didn't exactly lift up the experience.

04/10/2026: We ate well, and on Saturday night the place was packed. It's best to book on weekends and arrive early. We're taking off one star because the service was very slow and the view of the wide-open toilet door wasn't very pleasant.

OK, you have to climb a winding mountain road, OK, you have to accept the set menu, OK, you have to book because the terrace is small, but what a wonderful surprise! Fresh, high-quality ingredients, authentic cuisine that's both complex and simple—simply delicious!

12/09/2026: We had two piña coladas, one with and one without alcohol… both were carelessly poured into the glass, looking like they'd just been foamed up… or maybe they were straight from a carton.
The spot by the street was simply loud and uncomfortable.
The server only spoke French and no other language… When we wanted to order nuts with our drinks, they claimed they didn't have any. Odd, all the other tables had them.
We paid inside… which smelled like manure…
07/09/2026: The ambiance and service were excellent. The lunch menu was okay, but unfortunately, the meat wasn't a highlight. These things happen, and it's only meant to be a minor drawback. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. We had a lovely time.

A professional, attentive, and incredibly kind team, both with us and all the guests. The meal was divinely delicious and refined, as was the table setting, and they even helped us manage our budget!
The venue is also magnificent, thanks to its view, as well as the parquet flooring and bay window in the reception hall!
