07/11/2025: EUREKA... First time I've managed to book a table. We were familiar with the products in the shop, as well as some of the restaurant's suppliers, as we shop there regularly, but we had never actually dined in the restaurant. The choice was already difficult, as we were tempted by so many things. We opted for the tasting menu at €34. I recommend a light breakfast so you arrive on an empty stomach. A platter of local charcuterie, varied and impressive. Then the meats: the beef was cooked exactly as my former apprentice chef, the head saucier at Café de Paris (MC), taught me. The lamb chops reminded me of the Sisteron lamb I ate as a child. The beef in sauce was flavorful. The desserts were delicious. A menu fit for Gargantua, as Rabelais, the Grand Master of culinary refinement, described him. Nothing more to add, except that the service is always impeccable. It is always easier to book outside of peak season (and outside of weekends).

28/02/2026: I've been going there for over 15 years, and it's always just as charming. The traditional cuisine is still excellent, even if it's declined slightly recently. I highly recommend it!

19/02/2026: We were very pleasantly surprised! Passing through after visiting Foix Castle, we discovered simple, delicious, and homemade cuisine. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, and the seasoning was flavorful. I highly recommend it.

11/12/2025: I dined here with some friends in May 2023 having been recommended on the basis of new ownership. First the good bits; the ambience is good, we dined inside and the outside courtyard looks very inviting the choice of wines is excellent and even better they are reasonably priced the menu choices are quite good for dessert 3 of us had creme brulee which was excellent as was the fourth one and I have forgotten what it was Now the not so good bits; I had parmentier a la canard which was good, but the mash was a bit dry, the whole thing could be improved with a little sauce of some kind. the really big complaint I have is that it was served on a dish which was cracked almost all the way across and should NEVER have been used to serve food. one of my friends had loup, which was a really small portion and was served just about warm on a cold plate another had the carbonara, it too was just about warm and served on a cold plate another had the cotes de cochons this also was just about warm and served on a cold plate If the food had been served to an acceptable standard then the prices would probably be considered just about reasonable, however given all the things I mentioned above then on this particular evening it was poor value for money. Will I be back ? Probably if only to see what the chef has done with the cracked dish !!!! I have to say that all my recent experiences have been excellent, food and service were good, the wine was excellent and all reasonable value for money. 18/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. We had the raclette, which was a generous portion, and the children had the chicken tenders, which were both tender inside and crispy outside. We highly recommend it.

Everything was delicious and prepared with care and a genuine love for cooking—hats off to the kitchen! The welcome and advice were very professional, and we greatly appreciated the explanations of each dish. The price reflects the high quality and refinement of the cuisine. We will gladly return; thank you very much.

28/11/2025: I can't rate the rooms as I didn't stay there. However, every meal was a delight! The staff were incredibly kind, unpretentious, and the cuisine was truly French. It's a real pleasure to eat there! Moreover, the setting is calm, welcoming, very clean, and the food is very generous. Come and stop by; you won't be disappointed!
