08/03/2026: A small, traditional French restaurant located near Foix Castle. It was excellent, and the atmosphere was very friendly. I recommend the duck parmentier, which was simply delicious. For dessert, the coffee verrine (the exact name escapes me) was also delectable. The portions were generous for a very reasonable price, the food was high quality, and made with local products! It's worth noting that there isn't a lot of space inside.

11/12/2025: I dined here with some friends in May 2023 having been recommended on the basis of new ownership. First the good bits; the ambience is good, we dined inside and the outside courtyard looks very inviting the choice of wines is excellent and even better they are reasonably priced the menu choices are quite good for dessert 3 of us had creme brulee which was excellent as was the fourth one and I have forgotten what it was Now the not so good bits; I had parmentier a la canard which was good, but the mash was a bit dry, the whole thing could be improved with a little sauce of some kind. the really big complaint I have is that it was served on a dish which was cracked almost all the way across and should NEVER have been used to serve food. one of my friends had loup, which was a really small portion and was served just about warm on a cold plate another had the carbonara, it too was just about warm and served on a cold plate another had the cotes de cochons this also was just about warm and served on a cold plate If the food had been served to an acceptable standard then the prices would probably be considered just about reasonable, however given all the things I mentioned above then on this particular evening it was poor value for money. Will I be back ? Probably if only to see what the chef has done with the cracked dish !!!! 03/04/2026: The menu was unpretentious. They brought me two blackboards with two set menus: one for 22 euros and another for 44 euros, plus an à la carte menu. I chose from the à la carte options and was told I could only choose between the two set menus. For starters, the soup, which was mandatory, was a dark broth with pieces of pork floating in it, most of them inedible because they were bones of varying sizes. There were quite a few very small pieces that I had to pick out of my mouth. For the main course, I had scallops on a bed of sliced ​​leeks. The leeks were raw and the scallops were bland. The best part was the cheese for dessert, the atmosphere was very cool, the service was excellent, and they allow dogs. It was quite noisy.

29/03/2026: The manor's architecture is beautiful, the colors are eye-catching! We received a very warm welcome and were guided through the hammam experience offered by the establishment. The room was very pleasant, quiet, and impeccably clean—nothing to complain about! The room offered optimal comfort for a weekend getaway. I highly recommend it! ☀️

05/03/2026: It's hard not to fall under the spell of this manor house upon arrival: the facade is magnificent, the surroundings offer superb views, and the location is truly ideal. The reception is warm and genuine, and the breakfast room perfectly extends this friendly and authentic atmosphere. That's why the disappointment was all the greater upon discovering the room. Where the photos suggested a colorful decor in harmony with the manor's spirit, the reality was quite different: a minimalist room in shades of gray, with metal furniture completely disconnected from the warm, wood-paneled character of the rest of the establishment. A striking contrast, almost hard to believe you're in the same place. For a 3-star hotel that places so much emphasis on the charm of its heritage, it would be a real shame to leave the rooms out of this carefully cultivated identity. I sincerely hope this will change, because the potential is undeniable.

22/03/2026: Good evening, Passing through Pamiers for the weekend, we were looking for a semi-gastronomic restaurant to treat ourselves. The welcome was impeccable, and the staff were helpful and smiling. The service was quick, and there was no wait. We were served a small creamy soup before the starter while we waited for our aperitif. The dishes were very good and refined. If I had to mention one negative point, which might not even be one (I didn't dare ask), I didn't see any wine by the glass on the menu; there were only bottles. My wife doesn't drink wine, and I was driving, so I couldn't order a whole bottle. But otherwise, everything was truly perfect, and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return. Regarding the dining room, the tables are large, making it pleasant to eat at; you don't feel cramped or confined. We were upstairs, and the atmosphere was quiet—nothing to complain about.
