09/08/2024: This is the first time I've left a review, but this restaurant is really great. The food is excellent, the prices are unbeatable and the waitresses are welcoming and generous. Some desserts did not fit into our formula, they allowed us to serve ourselves anyway. It's honestly the best restaurant we've had so far, in terms of price, quantity and quality. Definitely don't hesitate to stop by.

03/10/2023: We had such a great stay. Room was clean and perfectly set up. Location right on the waterway near a falls. And the owners were both so wonderfully nice and the meal was stupendous!

18/08/2023: A very nice restaurant but a bitter sap. Damage !!!

20/06/2024: Do not hesitate ! Fine, original and homemade cuisine with fresh produce. A gold star for the veal spider and the homemade marinated anchovies! The service is attentive and friendly.

18/06/2024: Wonderful moment for the taste buds, cooking like cooking: beautiful, and delicious! Ultra fresh, beautiful and very very good dishes, absolutely worth trying, from starter to dessert ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

03/07/2024: There are so many restaurants in the old city but the fixed price menu, shady location drew us in. The staff were super friendly and service was quick, possibly because we were one of the early diners. The food was super fresh and plenty of it though re the steak , english medium is french rare. The house wine...the rose' and white wine didn't look to different and didn't taste much different either but still good value

02/07/2024: Excellent Resto,personnel fort sympathique, aucune attente,le repas très bien cuisiné et bien servi, le coin terrasse extérieure est très agréable,je recommande sans hésitation 😉

16/10/2024: Suite à votre réponse à mon commentaire...que je supprime mais maintient « De passage dans la région nous avons acheté notre pain. Avons été très surpris du prix ...mais bon peut être que celui ci serait a tomber par terre...j'ai eu beau de le déguster "en conscience" mon boulanger du puy de dôme (bio et farines locales) rivalise sans soucis. » Pour ce qui est de l'origine des farines vous me rassurez et en prend acte et suis rassuré pour votre bilan carbone. Si au regard des différents documents que vous publiez je n'ai pas saisi qu'il ne s'agissait que des semences, alors désolé . Peut-être vous allez clarifier nettement ce point dans vos publications. Néanmoins je me permets d'être surpris par la véhémence de vos réponses ( et du coup, j'en ai lu plusieurs, dès que des avis ne vont pas dans l'adoration de vos produits). Sachez simplement que je ne suis pas un adepte des réseaux sociaux n'ayant ni X, ni facebook ou autres mais laisse parfois un avis (mais très peu, moins d'une dizaine par an) si je suis satisfait ou non. Vous vous inquiétez de mon bilan carbone et autres déchets plastiques à mon domicile, je vous rassure je ne prends pas l'avion, j'achète dès que possible en vrac, je consomme un maximum local et pour mes déplacements je privilégie l'énergie douce ou verte. J'imagine qu'il en est de même pour vos expéditions de vos pains via votre site web à travers la France ? J'ai été artisan et comprends la passion que l'on a pour son métier mais celle-ci ne doit pas nourrir l'outrance et je crois sincèrement que l'humilité est la marque des Grands....Cordialement

16/06/2025: We were a group of hikers and stayed at La Petite Auberge for the weekend. Everything was perfect. Beautiful, new, well-appointed rooms and a generous, excellent breakfast. Relaxing in the pool after the hike really got us back in shape, and we also enjoyed the table d'hôte, which also deserves its 5 stars. Marie really takes great care of her guests. It felt like we were staying with friends.

31/08/2024: The location is very pretty and we chose based on good reviews. We found the food to be unexceptional and the service a bit disappointing. It’s probably a better place to go for just a drink

19/05/2024: Good food even if the prices are a little expensive all the same, and it's a shame that the speakers are too close to the tables the Saturday musicians are very good but unfortunately the volume is a little loud

17/09/2024: Very well received, we were passing through for one night 🌃 the hotel is on the water's edge (Aude) very beautiful, relaxing place, the owners are welcoming people. I highly recommend 👍👍👍 we will come back

06/09/2024: Bonjour, Je confirme, un cadre excellent ainsi qu'un accueil parfait. Vous avez le bonjour de la personne en balade dans le coin, Mardi et Mercredi 3 et 4 Septembre. A recommander pour un séjour sur Quillan ou dans l'Aude. Mes salutations. Jm

16/05/2024: Getting worse and worse from pkus to more expensive, I order 2 kebabs without menus (thus drinks) confirmed by the waiter on the phone, in the end I leave with 2 kebabs without fries it was necessary to specify with completely fries.... anyway next time we will go to the new kebab it can't be worse 15 euros 2 kebabs alone very expensive!!!

14/05/2024: The person who answers the calls has little desire to sell. We called to place a delivery order (from the truck) speaking basic French and he hung up on us twice without even trying to understand. Very bad experience

22/09/2024: Comfortable hotel, with a magnificent park bordering the ancient Alet abbey. The Aude passes nearby and with a gentle, relaxing sound. The food is plentiful and delicious. The managers are welcoming and friendly.

15/09/2024: Small coffee break in this place which deserves a stop. In the shade of a majestic century-old beech tree, in a well-kept garden, bordering the Aude and adjoining the ruins of the cathedral, the setting is calming. Not far from there, a campsite is hidden behind a line of trees, hiding the mobile homes. The village, for its part, is steeped in legends, particularly around the house of Nostradamus located on the square. The place is peaceful, lulled by the murmur of the water of the Aude, even if this calm is sometimes disturbed by the passage of cars, motorcycles and trucks on the departmental road which runs along the river. We didn't stay. Therefore, no reviews on the rooms. All in all, a lovely end of summer visit.
