08/09/2024: We first stumbled on this excellent canal-side restaurant in July 2024 and had an excellent dinner with wonderful tellines persilade to start with and followed up with fillet of turbot also very good. There's a strong emphasis on fish and seafood here but not exclusively so something for most tastes. The chef is talented, knows his craft and prepares fresh innovative dishes presented with flair and care. So good was gthe first visit we stopped again now in September for lunch...lovely moules buchot followed up with a blanquette fo homard and sole. The desserts can be both tempting and dangerous! Try the Frozen Gin - with cucumber sorbet.....brilliant. Nice friendly service and a chef who takes pride in his work. This is a keeper!

14/10/2024: While staying in Carcassonne, my hotel offered an overpriced & disappointing breakfast. I came here instead. Much better food, professional and friendly staff and a decent coffee too.
