08/09/2024: We first stumbled on this excellent canal-side restaurant in July 2024 and had an excellent dinner with wonderful tellines persilade to start with and followed up with fillet of turbot also very good. There's a strong emphasis on fish and seafood here but not exclusively so something for most tastes. The chef is talented, knows his craft and prepares fresh innovative dishes presented with flair and care. So good was gthe first visit we stopped again now in September for lunch...lovely moules buchot followed up with a blanquette fo homard and sole. The desserts can be both tempting and dangerous! Try the Frozen Gin - with cucumber sorbet.....brilliant. Nice friendly service and a chef who takes pride in his work. This is a keeper!

23/08/2024: Good restaurant. Quiet on the edge of the canal. The cuisine is refined and the fish is excellent. The chef and table staff are very friendly. To discover and encourage 😉

15/07/2026: A very disappointing experience. Seated on the terrace with my partner, we were in for our first surprise: the waitress asked us to queue at the bar to order ourselves. Once we collected our drinks, the disappointments continued. My partner's diabolo was completely flat, and I didn't even get a glass, just a simple straw. To top it all off, despite the sweltering heat, the drinks weren't cold at all and clearly hadn't come straight from the refrigerator. If this level of service is acceptable to you, feel free to stop at the nearest supermarket. You'll find better, fresher products there, and for much less money.

21/10/2024: Le Paradis Padel Squash is simply exceptional! A unique place where sport, relaxation and conviviality meet. The padel and squash courts are maintained and the atmosphere is always great. The catering is delicious, perfect after a good match, and the events are always well organized. The staff is smiling, the musical atmosphere is great, and the warm decoration creates a welcoming setting. We feel really good there. An unmissable place to spend good times with friends or family! 🎉🎾🍽️"

05/11/2024: Il faut « oser » s’arrêter dans ce village de Soulatgé, pousser la porte de ce logis aménagé en restaurant et laisser le charme du terroir agir. Un couloir sépare la cuisine de la petite salle de restaurant et l’accueil est de suite chaleureux et discret à la fois. Et la magie s’opère, les souvenirs de ces restaurants ruraux qui savent faire de la bonne cuisine avec des plats travaillés selon les recettes des grands mères et des produits locaux. Il faut laisser la « patronne » vous expliquer cela , vous l’écouterez avec délice. Donc des bons plats, de bons produits, et une chaleur humaine ; nous nous sommes régalés. En final nous fûmes les derniers à quitter la salle et après avoir réglé l’addition nous sommes partis à discuter avec la patronne et son époux pendant près de trois quarts d’heure … du bonheur.

03/07/2024: Un très bon restaurant, la patronne est très gentille conviviale, qui prend le temps de discuter avec le client, qui explique tous les plats et comment c'est préparer. Les assiettes sont tres bonnes et copieuse et le mot est faible. Tous es fait maison un restaurant qui fonctionne avec les agriculteurs du coin. Si vous passez dans le coin arrêtez vous. Pensez a réserver avant. Et si vous avez le temps profitez du marché régional qui est ouvert tous les jours. ( Photos)
