16/08/2025: Having had lunch there on August 16th, this restaurant is truly one to avoid. Disgusting! We waited an hour for the bill, the waitress was completely clueless, and the waiter was even worse. On the way out, they offered us a Schweppes, which wasn't free, so tough luck for them. If you can, avoid this restaurant. It's a disgrace to hire such people as waiters; they were so rude, and that's putting it mildly.

18/06/2025: The Hummingbird is so cozy in winter! Swann and her husband speak French, English, and German. They welcome all the local wildlife. They are so friendly, and their organic coffee is a little gem!

07/08/2024: Ce restaurant et propre, le service n'est pas gros long, les serveur sont sympa et émables et serviables, il y a une bonne ambiance avec vue sur le port, seul bémol au plat ils se sont trompé, mais sinon c'est un bonne endroit pour manger.

01/08/2024: Le plat unique commandé de bourguignon de poulpes était très léger :2 morceaux de poulpe 3 pomme de terre grenaille et une multitude de croûtons servi avec du pain rassis de la veille comme l'a confirmé la serveuse. Le toit pour 23€...cher le kg de poulpe dans ce restaurant. Les légumes du jardin stipulés sur la carte sont sûrement restés au jardin. Terminé je n'irai plus. J'irai à côté au bistrot des copains.

19/08/2025: We were turned away from this restaurant, which was empty because we were coming by train. Unacceptable

12/08/2025: From the first moment the lady who served us was super friendly. We were with a 4 year old girl and she really enjoyed eating. Everything was homemade and very good. Congratulations.

20/08/2024: Accueil. Service rapide et repas sans fausse note, sympathique, cuisine terroir visite, la tête de veau est à tomber et l'addition surprenante dans le bon sens du terme, apéro, entrées variées en buffet, plat, dessert, café, pour 18€ Le bonheur est dans l'assiette...

25/09/2024: I am sad to be treated in an extremely unpleasant way because I simply expressed my satisfaction, The waitress wants to force me to take 2 pieces of pizza 🍕 cut under the pretext that there are a lot of cuts Unfortunately I have been coming up since the opening at your place, And I can tell you that I ate almost all of your products, So I was counting on finding something new, my chicken pizza But unfortunately it is not cut, so I can only watch it because I have to choose from the cut pieces, What is this policy??? I hope to have an answer because I am really disappointed and angry 😠 especially with the way the manager treats these loyal customers,

22/11/2024: Great for enjoying a good steak and homemade fries. Plus, the wine is excellent. Fast, no-fuss service. Reservations in advance are recommended.

31/10/2024: Vous vous trouvez au cœur des halles de Narbonne dont la renommée n'est plus à faire ,au sein d'une équipe hyper sympathique. Vous pourrez admirer Noëlle qui grillera à la perfection vos viandes directes du producteurs des halles accompagnées du vin du patron . Tout est délicieux

14/09/2024: Manager allows himself an odious response which says a lot (in addition to not doing great cooking). I'll let you see it in a screenshot. Basically: the restaurants in Carcassone, I said, are obviously rated by people who know little about cooking and are not very particular about their food; therefore be wary of the very good Google averages which reflect correct establishments and nothing more.

03/09/2024: Basically, if the customers have children, I would tell you that they won't eat anything because there is only adult food. Girl, better go to a fast food restaurant. (After eating at this restaurant, I went to a fast food place because I was still hungry.) Well, in general, food in France is not that good, so it’s understandable that we weren’t very lucky. People who are vegetarian or vegan don’t have many options in this restaurant as there’s nothing for them. I don't know if drinking wine or some kind of soft drink in the middle of the service is very normal, or maybe it's typical in France Idk. I understand that you might be thirsty, but I’ve never seen this in any other restaurant I’ve visited. I think it shows a lack of respect towards customers. I personally wouldn’t go back because of the lack of variety, quantity, and service. What I can say is that the place was quiet, which is always a good thing.
