The food was excellent, everything well prepared and carefully presented: we truly enjoyed our meal! But what made the evening even more enjoyable was the welcome: the staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel immediately at ease. We absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the walled city of Carcassonne looking for good, quality cuisine and attentive, friendly service. 01/08/2026: TERRIBLE!!! Completely unprofessional! I can't comment on the food. Once we were seated, the owner who had us had the cowardice to send his employee to tell us that we couldn't have drinks without ordering food, and he kicked us out even though we had explained that we wanted to nibble on tapas (but this tapas bar doesn't serve them at lunchtime). The terrace was empty at 12:30 pm...

15/05/2026: A visit to the castle and ramparts is a must. Breathtaking views of the city, the surrounding area, and the ramparts! :-)

14/05/2026: The Cité de Carcassonne is a must-see every time I travel through the south of France. And if there's one thing you absolutely shouldn't miss, it's the fabulous Bastille Day fireworks display. I must have been back at least ten times, and the effect is always the same: majestic. The illuminated ramparts, the explosions that set the whole citadel ablaze, the atmosphere in the city… there's something truly unique about it. Even a simple two-hour break during a road trip is enough to be blown away by the sights. On the way to the Abbey of Saint-Martin du Canigou, it's the kind of stop that transforms a journey into a lasting memory. 500 meters before the paid parking lots, on the hill before descending into the citadel, a strip along the edge allows you to park for free. 5, 6 cars max.

18/07/2026: A very good address in the heart of Carcassonne. The food is excellent, with traditional dishes that are very well prepared and delicious. The service is pleasant and the staff is welcoming. One of our meals was simply forgotten, but this can happen and the problem was quickly resolved. The atmosphere is calm and warm, ideal for having a good time. I recommend this inn.

18/07/2026: Everything was excellent… From the meal to the impeccable service… 👌 Very reasonable price… With a three-course meal for under €20! 👍🏽 Lovely outdoor terrace… nothing to complain about.

09/07/2026: The only fish, seafood, and shellfish restaurant in Carcassonne. What's more, the products are incredibly fresh and the food is excellent. The cassoulet is a must-try: you really taste the rich flavor of the beans, whereas elsewhere you don't even notice it. It's remarkable! Everything is prepared by a fantastic chef and a perfectly attentive waiter. A must for seafood lovers, I highly recommend it.

07/07/2026: My partner and I had dinner here. We were looking for a seafood restaurant, but there aren't many. Well, this one is perfect. You can go there without hesitation. The meal was excellent, and the portions were generous; you definitely won't leave hungry.

06/08/2026: Disappointed! Communication problems with the service and too long a wait. We had a reservation for cassoulet at 8 pm and saw the beautiful casseroles go by, but when we wanted to order more, they were sold out, and the same was true for other dishes. We waited over 45 minutes for our food, which was served with dry pieces of bread, probably cut at lunchtime or the day before. The meat was good, and the fries were just cooked.

04/08/2026: The food was spectacular, the portions very generous, the staff very friendly, and the price is in line with the quantity and quality. The children's menu is very complete, and the portions are very generous. It's usually full, so reservations are recommended.
