The service was impeccable, the setting is beautiful, with a lovely terrace for sunny days.

10/01/2026: We had lunch with the family on a Saturday, and it's worth noting that they had a weekend menu, which was much appreciated. The restaurant is located in the center of Carcassonne and has a very pleasant and welcoming decor that blends rustic and modern elements. The dishes on the menu were beautifully presented and prepared. We didn't find anything we didn't like. The service was excellent, although we had a little trouble understanding each other at first, but that didn't detract from the overall experience.

28/01/2026: We went there for a drink; my aunt and I ordered two hot chocolates. The service was slow and cold, both when taking our order and when bringing it to us. The hot chocolates were basic, just like homemade: milk and cocoa powder (confirmed by the waiter, or at least the gentleman who took our payment). At €6 a pop, it's a disgrace, a rip-off! In such a prestigious establishment, you expect something artisanal, something that lives up to the promise of the facade—like hot chocolate cooked with milk and cream, a substantial drink, in short. After we complained to the supposed waiter, he curtly offered us the miraculous recipe for such a disappointing drink, followed by a simple "OK," colder than the weather outside. Having worked in the hotel and restaurant industry myself, I believe I can say that employees have a duty to live up to the standards of their establishments. Leaving aside this disappointment, this sector requires self-discipline and a pleasant demeanor to encourage customers to return—in short, the foundation of sales. This was a disappointing experience, with little substance to it. After reading this, I won't be returning.

31/12/2025: I was swayed by the reviews. The service is excellent, the atmosphere unique, but the food leaves much to be desired. The dishes, although well-presented, are of very low quality. The ingredients are not worth the price they charge. Not recommended at all.

30/12/2025: The place is outstanding. It's very picturesque. If you're looking for good food and to enjoy local products, you've come to the right place. The service is excellent; they are very friendly and fun. The risotto is superb, as is the foie gras, both excellent choices.

09/07/2025: We only visited the free area because the price was €19. I think it's very expensive compared to other major monuments in Spain. What we saw caught our attention: the castle with battlements, busy streets with tourists, and a lively atmosphere. You can easily visit it in a day, eating inside and taking home a souvenir.

It offers a varied menu, ranging from pizzas and a children's menu to traditional French dishes and desserts. You can sit inside or on the terrace, overlooking the street. We chose to sit at one of the many tables in the large dining room and ordered two grilled rib-eye steaks with green peppercorn sauce and potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious and generous. The staff was welcoming, smiling, competent, and helpful. The service was attentive and quick. The prices were high, but justified by the excellent quality of the meat. My wife and I had dinner at this centrally located, traditional French pizzeria and restaurant, situated on one of the many narrow streets of Carcassonne, France. It offers a variety of dishes, from pizza to a children's menu, from traditional French dishes to traditional French desserts. There are tables inside and outside looking at the narrow street. We sat at one of the many tables inside a large dining room and ordered two grilled rib-eye steaks with green peppercorn sauce and potatoes. Everything was delicious, delicious, and plentiful. Our feelings are in one of the many dishes inside an amplio comedor and pedimos dos filetes de costilla a la parrilla con salsa de pimienta verde y patatas. All this is riquisimo and abundant. The personal is friendly, friendly, competent, friendly and helpful. The service should be attentive and rapid. The prices we have are caros, but just for the excellent quality of the meat.

03/01/2026: Great! We had the €17.90 and €33.90 menus. Honestly, the €17.90 one was enough; there's no need to go for the €33.90 one. The waiter was super friendly and pleasant, and the food was very good! One small negative point: it was noisy, but we happened to get a very noisy table.

The atmosphere was intimate and calm, even though the dining room was practically full. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very efficient and pleasant. I will be back very soon.
