18/09/2024: Being a regular at this hotel restaurant and traveling often, I can compare... I recommend this evening stopover with unbeatable value for money, spacious and comfortable rooms and above all an excellent restaurant where everything is homemade.

17/09/2024: We discovered, by chance, this excellent hostel. Delicious meal and excellent staff, smiling, friendly and super efficient and all with pleasure.

24/09/2024: We spent 2 nights in half board. Everything was perfect. Very good restaurant with quality local products (which is very rare for a half board) and a nice wine list. Professionalism and friendliness of staff I highly recommend this establishment. Not to be missed.

01/10/2024: Excellent dinner in a restaurant with provincial and almost timeless charm. The service, feminine, is very pleasant. The cuisine is based on high quality products and the possibility of composing a menu from the menu (you can choose starters, main courses and desserts from the menu and compose a 2 or 3 course menu at a fixed price) is a very good initiative allowing you to navigate the map at a reduced price (I recommend the 3 services at 36 euros) Beautiful cellar, a champagne which was a great discovery, also at very reasonable prices. I definitely recommend this restaurant and thank the staff of this restaurant for their kindness.

25/08/2024: The Bras house seems to have changed a lot. Customer for a night and a dinner in one of the temples of French gastronomy, the incomprehension is total in front of this desolate and revolting spectacle. During almost 24 hours of presence on site, we did not have a word of welcome or to possibly know if everything had gone well, no no none of that we throw you in your room without a word on arrival and you pay the bill of 1500 euros without a single word so almost sorry to disturb Madame at the time of departure. The meal is the same style, no drinks but aperitifs, and above all hurry to the table, another ubiquitous moment in an establishment which was 3 stars but which is emancipated from this in order to obviously wrongly free it since no codes remain both in the reception and in the service. It is good to remember that your profession is one of pleasure and hospitality, serving the customer for an experience and normally of a high level. The place, on the other hand, remains, I find, like what Michel Bras' cuisine was, avant-garde, with quality and finesse in the materials, something completely incredible. Because the kitchen is also what a misadventure.. Apart from the gargoyle, little or no discovery, the dessert was catastrophic, a scent of burnt soluble coffee quite detestable but once again perhaps its cuisine was not highlighted at all by his team how to understand it? It is with deep sadness that I write this review, ladies and gentlemen, you have forgotten why you chose this profession.

25/08/2024: Three years after our first experience we returned to this magnificent place. We must admit it is an exceptional place. This will be the only positive point I would give to date. The rest is just disappointment. The staff is breathtakingly cold. Did you have a good trip? How are you doing ? Did your stay go well? Was the experience good? None of that. Appetizer in disorder, a meal of incredible speed! No discovery for the kitchen. The grade is not a problem for us, but in this case it is. Second experience which spoils the magic of the first, we will no longer be part of this adventure, after 5 hours of driving just for this place.

21/09/2024: Good welcome, very clean rooms, well soundproofed and very good bedding. Good food in generous quantities. A plus for the excellent Aubrac meat. Too bad there are no mixed salads on the menu. Good varied breakfast.

19/09/2024: Excellent welcome at Coudercous, very good meal and breakfast (all you can eat). Bad sleep in a type of poorly equipped dormitory lit by an emergency block all night!

13/09/2024: No respect for customers. Reservation by email, text message and answering machine message. We will not call you back to confirm or validate the reservation. After more than 100kms we arrive and the door is closed, the parking lot is empty. What a lack of respect. As a former trader, this is intolerable towards customers. Big disappointment for us and for our costs incurred.

11/09/2024: Atypical restaurant, superb decor, great owners, with a lot of humor, kindness and empathy. The cuisine is a real treat. We came twice during our stay and each evening was a real pleasure (especially for the birthday of one of us!). Small suggestion: perhaps you could equip yourself with a foldable ramp so that more people in wheelchairs can come (words from a handicapped person who found it blah but who finished his plate!!😉) Don't change anything and THANK YOU

04/09/2024: The restaurant is right next to the RV park where we parked. what a great idea we had to go to this restaurant for lunch the smiling and very dynamic waitress. the price of the menu more than correct, very generous plates, homemade you were very good we enjoyed ourselves, we can only recommend if you are passing through the region!!!!

23/09/2024: This review only concerns the restaurant Very warm welcome. Local products, home-made cuisine. Very good value for money. The hot goat cheese with honey is very tasty and its accompaniment is hearty. The lamb shank is very good. Desserts not tested because we were full.

20/09/2024: During a cycling trip we stayed there for one night. Ideally located in the heart of St Affrique, you will first be pleasantly welcomed by the owners whose hotel sense is not an empty word. Pretty little rooms recently renovated with pleasant and neat decoration, air conditioning, very good bedding and a beautiful bathroom. A closed garage for our bikes. An excellent restaurant with tasty cuisine and a service team attentive to the smooth running of your meal. A pleasant breakfast to get you back on the road. If you are in St Affrique, look no further, this is the place to stay!

10/09/2024: This restaurant at La Cavalerie is located in a pretty building whose vaults have been nicely highlighted. A very friendly and helpful team serving until late. Excellent cuisine with very good value for money. I highly recommend.

Always too. good, served quickly I let myself be tempted by the dish of the day, after the lamb shank we were not too hungry, that was quickly sorted out when the dishes arrived there hunger came just as quickly😛 Always parking opposite and coffee for 1 euro Nothing to complain about, very good, well served, service with a smile, the table neighbors were happy like us. In short, a restaurant that justifies the detour we made.
