04/04/2024: Very special, elegant atmosphere, pleasantly enlivened by the huge painting by Grison "Fête du Village". So many attentive and nice young restaurant professionals - servers and sommeliers. The food was imaginative and plentiful - with lots of attention. Definitely very filling! Interesting ingredients to read for later: the escargots from Ebersheim, the Pinot noir from Gut Dahlmann, the sanglier from the Vosges (sustainable;-)) with the Gin Rosa from the distillery in Strasbourg itself, the beurre de Bresse....A Experience!
04/04/2024: La cuisine est délicieuse et inventive de l’entrée au dessert. L’entrée avec des escargots était parfaite. Le poisson était cuit à la perfection, le cochon accompagné d’une endive farcie excellente.

03/04/2024: The reception was mediocre, as was the friendliness. I haven't been here for years, but I wouldn't recommend it anymore, what a shame! Food was very good. A couple came in next to them (probably on business). Along with the menu, a board was brought to the table with the specialties listed. This was not presented to us at all. A pity! A smile wouldn't hurt now and then! The salad with my liver knöpfle wasn't brought at all because no one came past the table to ask if everything was good. I didn't have the opportunity to ask where the salad was.
Well, there are plenty of other restaurants that are also good, unfortunately next time it won't be at Chez Yvonne.
02/04/2024: What a quaint and nice location. The food was really excellent and the service was top notch. Despite the lack of French and rather poor knowledge of English, the service was very helpful and courteous. Definitely worth recommending!!

11/05/2024: Great courtyard but that's about it. Very listless staff and the food was disappointing… Cordonbleau was dry and fries were dripping greasy - they were probably fried several times. Sauce was tasty but unfortunately cold and very little.

We were there on April 2, 2023, in a group and the impeccable service, yesterday May 4, 2024 we were disappointed, served quickly the meat was lukewarm, I think I prepare well in advance.
Today I change the stars.

05/04/2024: Wonderful cheese dishes cold and warm. The duck breast was also great. Great selection of (cheese) desserts.
Be sure to pre-order. The restaurant was very busy on both visits. The waiting time wasn't a problem because of the delicious wines.
We would be happy to come back to enjoy dinner with you on our next visit to Strasbourg.
31/03/2024: A reference in Strasbourg! The friendly, dynamic team, the super well-ripened cheeses... in short, I loved it but digestion is complicated afterwards when you are too greedy!!!

26/01/2024: Je suis enchante d'avoir découvert cet endroit, le service est rapide et sympathique, rendant mon repas encore plus agréable. La choucroute royale y est exceptionnelle avec une généreuse portion de viande tendre et savoureuse, témoignant de l'attention porté a la qualité des plats . La viande était servie bien chaude, signe d'une cuisine fraiche et soignée, et les portions sont copieuses pour se régaler sans frustration. Mais ce qui m'a vraiment marqué, c'est l'équipe en place, incroyablement sympathique et accueillante, créant une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale. Je recommande vivement cet endroit et j'ai hâte d'y retourner pour découvrir d'autres délices culinaires !
