I highly recommend this place to all crêpe lovers.

18/03/2026: We came to Auberge de la Paix to celebrate my birthday and everything was perfect! The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. There were seven of us and everyone loved it, no one was disappointed. A wonderful discovery, we will gladly return! 👍

Very child-friendly. One scoop of ice cream had fallen, and we were given a new one without even asking.
10/02/2026: We were treated poorly by another restaurant so coming here was the complete opposite. Despite a small language barrier they provided amazing food and service. Not to mention the price was unbeatable

08/03/2026: It took 40 minutes to order our drinks, and even then we had to insist. This will be the one and only time we eat at this restaurant. The service was incredibly slow. Too slow.

12/03/2026: A wonderful discovery at Pied de Boeuf! Delicious food, generous portions, and above all, everything homemade – a real treat. A special touch was the decorations, brought all the way from Strasbourg for the traditional funfair next door; the atmosphere was fantastic. The service was warm and friendly. We'll definitely be back!
03/03/2026: The sauerkraut was very salty and the sausages were undercooked. The upstairs room isn't very attractive. Surprisingly, they were listening to Radio Azur while we dined! The service was efficient.

28/02/2026: What a delightful surprise! There was so much finesse in this simply delicious and indulgent cuisine. We were expecting a simple meal. I can't decide whether I preferred the pike-perch quenelles or the poached pear. It was sophisticated and original. And we'll definitely be back, despite the drive. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
28/02/2026: The menu is short, and even shorter when they tell you the signature dish is no longer available... But the service is very warm and the decor is pleasant. It's still a good idea to check the menu in advance and make sure several dishes appeal to you.

25/03/2026: A great find for lunch. Cosy, fiendly, and really good food at a reasonable price. We had a great dandelion salad (Salade de Pisenlit) with bacon and a fried egg on top of it. Delicious lunch!

Everything I've tasted so far has been delicious: chocolates, pastries, cakes... You can feel the quality and craftsmanship in every bite. I recommend it without hesitation!

The exterior isn't much to look at, but step inside and you'll be pleasantly surprised. A lovely place, I highly recommend it! And the prices aren't exorbitant like in some bars; a round for four is €14.

27/02/2026: A superb experience in Sélestat, a great restaurant. In addition to Alsatian dishes, there's a small menu offering extras like hanger steak and pork knuckle. We enjoyed our meal on the terrace in this beautiful weather; it was magnificent, the food was excellent, and the owners were very friendly. If you're ever passing through Alsace, come and enjoy authentic, homemade cuisine.

16/12/2025: Over an hour's wait for our food. Expensive dishes for mediocre quality. A burger with frozen fries and just a soggy, barely lukewarm bun with a lettuce leaf and a patty. Not even cheese. We weren't asked how we were enjoying our meal. They probably know the quality is nowhere near what their prices suggest… As for the atmosphere, there's nothing intimate about it. It's not welcoming at all. The start of service is constantly interrupted by reservation calls from customers, which are put on speakerphone so everyone knows who's making a reservation 😂 The calls constantly interrupt the restaurant's background music.
We were very disappointed because we had based our decision on the majority of positive reviews and the fact that the restaurant emphasizes "seasonal cuisine."
16/12/2025: This was my second time at this restaurant. It's a great find. Their set menu (starter, main course, dessert) works wonderfully and I find it quite refined!

22/11/2025: Very disappointed with the manalas. They've been our favorites for a long time, but this year I find they're not the same as before. They've gone on a serious diet; they used to be nice and plump.
And by 3 pm (so not the end of the day), they're almost empty.

19/02/2026: Pastry chef, chocolatier, and caterer: a true delight for the palate and a great place for those with a sweet tooth, offering fine and original pastries to enjoy in the tea room or to take away, homemade artisanal ice cream, and even some savory items in the deli section for lunch... Prices are higher than elsewhere, but the quality justifies them...
