21/04/2024: New owner: restaurant Au crepuscule. I give a rating of 1, not being able to give 0. We ordered two complete pancakes without ham, as this restaurant does not offer alternatives for vegetarians (a scandal in 2024). Infected. A savory crepe made with a sweet industrial dough. Wilted salad not to mention the oil coated fries. To flee. Too bad the staff is friendly, I advise them to learn the basics of cooking.

21/04/2024: The welcome from the girls is great, very friendly. Everything is homemade and it shows! The meat is magnificent, very tender. Nothing to say about the fries, what can I say about dessert?☺️ Some desserts under bells in full view of the customers which will tempt you! I recommend +++

03/07/2024: OK for 2 stars. Fairly light service. No parking, there is one outside but it is chargeable and expensive. When I have spent a night and had breakfast I will say more.

11/08/2024: I booked via thefork.com and specifically chose the " discount on a la carte menu" rather then special price on " set menus" Upon arrival they made us wait 15 mins ( the restaurant was not full) only to be presented with the " set menu options" ( those that i specifically avoided when booking) I ( tried) since the waiter couldn't speak English to explain that was not what I had booked and when asked " is this the full menu?" I was told " yes" .. too bad his colleague was carrying a dish that was clearly one of the 3 that were listed on the menu we were given.. So I asked for someone who could speak English After some consultation with his colleague, they completely ignored us .. So we left..

28/07/2024: Stayed here recently as we used it as a base to see Bayeux and the Normandy beaches along with the war graves, etc. The restaurant was very good, the staff were very nice and helpful, the only problem was the room, on arrival there were many flies on the table and windowsills, ok this could be a problem but hey, somethings get missed, when reported the young lady at reception was very embarrassed. Will I stay again? Yes, of course, as everything else was good.

11/09/2024: My partner and I decided on here for lunch, until this point in our stay and visits to other places to eat and drink in Honfleur the service we had received had been so helpful and polite but this, sadly was about to change. The service here is rude and totally unhelpful. We are of a certain age (old!) and have travelled the world and have never had a problem sharing a meal, not so here! A terrible scene ensued with us being told in a loud and aggressive way that it was 'impossible' and the gentleman who delivered this then storming off and moaning to his colleague about us. We increased our order to 2 cheese toasties ( hardly a fine dining establishment) my partner wanted to leave, I'm stubborn and wouldn't give them the satisfaction. It's not about the cost to me it's about knowing our appetite was not enough to eat 2. The most uninspired toastie and chips I have ever had (half of each plateful, leaving half each, what a waste!) coffee absolutely dreadful. Please avoid, they do not deserve your custom.

08/09/2024: Very good food, we enjoyed ourselves! The dishes are original and well prepared, with fresh produce and unexpected flavor combinations. For example, a sea bream gravelax with celery and grapefruit. Or, a sea bass fillet generously accompanied by mushroom risotto, zucchini flan and celery puree. The Vintage Café is located next to the Lieutenance and the Vieux-Bassin. The atmosphere is relaxed, in a retro decor. We appreciated the efficient and attentive service, well paced despite the crowds in this very touristy location.

11/11/2024: The boss's behavior is unacceptable with her customers. The food is of poor quality. What a waste!

10/11/2024: The takeaway cappuccino I ordered was very small and expensive. The cup was even half empty, and the taste wasn't great either, very disappointing!

29/07/2024: Having done a 5-day Thalasso treatment adjoining the restaurant, I was able to have lunch every day with great pleasure and in the calm of this restaurant 300 m from the beach but in a quiet area and above all with unrivaled value for money while 300m only separates this establishment from those of the seaside which are taken by storm, are noisy industrial in terms of food and overpriced! Here at "Le Bistrot des Planches" you will find little choice but there is still something for everyone. NORMAL everything is HOMEMADE! I work in catering and I have experience in restaurants and for example I haven't eaten a homemade burger and fries this good for X years.... Everything is GOOD from starter to dessert! I recommend ++++++ And the team takes great care. I would come back on my next stay. THANK YOU

02/11/2023: Super expérience. Cuisine délicieuse nous y sommes allés avec les enfants l'équipe est accueillante à l'écoute et bienveillante. Idéalement situé au bord de mer nous vous recommandons ce restaurant les yeux fermés !

02/06/2024: Avoid, this restaurant is no longer what it used to be. The person who answered the phone when I booked spoke to me as if we were friends. Frozen fries and only a small ramekin for 2, poor service, not surprised that it was closed administratively

09/09/2024: A fuir Je ne suis peut être pas tombé le bon jour mais ce n'est pas une raison Fruits de mer plein d'eau bulots et huîtres arrière goût avons du les jeter et pourtant pendant le confinement avions été agréablement surpris de la qualité Dernière expérience chez Alain Langoustines cuites à 99€ le kilo foutage de guele je comprends mieux la fraîcheur qui laisse à désirer 80€ mis à la poubelle

05/09/2024: Toujours très bien fruits de mer bien frais beaucoup de choix maintenant même quelques plats cuisinés bon accueil tout le monde est bien sympa

23/09/2024: Habitués depuis plusieurs années à venir déjeuner au petit Flaubert où c'était un plaisir tant sur l'accueil que sur la qualité des plats toujours bien cuisinée et délicieux. Telle a été notre déception en y allant en juin dernier où l’accueil était décevant, quand aux plats une catastrophe !!! dans la galettes une petite rondelle de saucisse au lieu d'une entière avant, pas de sauce, champignons annoncés qui était absente et pomme de terre immangeable. Quand au dessert la tarte Normande pas fraiche faite était en 2 morceaux racolés ! surement un restant repris d'un autre client !!!

19/09/2024: Je ne comprends pas du tout les commentaires négatifs.soit les personnes n.ont pas de palais pour apprécier des galettes faites maison, très bien garnies et avec du goût. Soit c’est de la méchanceté pure et dure de la part de c.est personnes. Certes les galettes noyées sous la crème c’est terminée, vive la transparence et le goût 😋😋😋
