09/08/2024: Sehr schöne Gastterrasse und auch schöner Innenraum. Das „L’Absinthe“ ist ein Selbstbedienungsrestaurant und eine attraktive Alternative zum Schweizer Restaurant gegenüber auf der anderen Seite der Grenze. Die „assiette ardoise“ war sehr lecker mit Fleischspezialitäten aus der Region und Pommes frites für Euro 18.90.

14/08/2024: Wir sind mit unseren Fahrrädern unterwegs und schlafen und essen jeden Tag an einem anderen Platz. Wir bestellten das Menue und sind total begeistert von der optischen Aufbereitung als auch vom geschmacklichen Erlebnis der Vorspeisen, Hautgerichte und vor allen Dingen der Desserts. Es mutet nach Sterneküche an. Wer hätte an einem solch abgelegenen Ort eine solch exzellente Küche vermutet? Niemand! Umso größer war die Überraschung.

04/08/2024: This shows that the positive reviews of certain brands are clearly lies.... What I say: shameful! Never again! The staff is nice. But very disappointed because for a romantic dinner, throughout the meal it smelled of smoldering cigarettes. Shameful because at the moment it is prohibited and very unpleasant especially when eating. Someone was smoking in the kitchen or near the bar, otherwise it couldn't be (it didn't smell like tobacco from the day before, but rather smoldering cigarettes) As for the meal: ordered Chinese fondue, still frozen meat arrived at the table and frankly not the first choice. Ice cream for dessert, ice cream not of the first choice either and with ice crystals.... tasteless Meal not worth the price paid In short, disappointed because I had a much better memory of it about 10 years ago.

13/07/2024: We had reserved a table and in the end no table for us... we were still able to eat... but a real sketch the hot goat's cheese salad with 3 salad leaves the salmon or beef carpa were hot!!! Cooking meat on pierrade is not even required… Concerning the atmosphere after that remains karaoke evening but don't even wait until the table is finished so it's impossible to discuss!!! Finally I didn't know I saw it and will certainly not return there and above all it is very expensive for what is served… On the other hand wait more than 30 minutes for 5 ice creams because they prefer to watch the football match than to serve you!!!! Madam Sir change profession and take a job that will allow you to watch those you want instead of making customers suffer!!!! Souhate is the only establishment offering karaoke evenings but you should not overdo it..!!! Especially since a group of women came but this sound made them turn away because she wasn't eating she wanted to have a drink... to avoid completely!!!!!

15/08/2024: Les heures d’ouverture affichées ne sont pas fiable (date 15.08.2024). La numéro de téléphone publié avait pas un répondeur. Finalement, nous les 8 touristes ont manger ailleurs. vraiment dommage.

There is a hello, a thank you and a goodbye (all this in austerity...). We feel like we're disturbing. I assure you that a little smile with a nice little word costs nothing and can produce a lot....

31/03/2024: Family weekend from March 15 to 17, 2024 Sébastien, the host, is really great! Kind, available (before and during the stay), welcoming and professional! All explanations were given upon our arrival so that we had an excellent stay. - The cottage is very well located, it is located in one of the most beautiful villages in France, lovely walks in the surrounding area, it has enough parking space, extremely well equipped (dream kitchen, cooking equipment, games for children ). It is also very large, which is great when you come in large numbers. Very clean and well maintained, everything has been thought of to make your stay perfect! - The SPA is clearly the jewel of this gîte. Located in the basement, a moment of relaxation guaranteed thanks to the sound of the waterfalls flowing through the establishment - The rooms are functional, quiet and well appointed This is a place we will return to! It’s really a nice place to spend some time with family, friends… We will come back! thanks again for everything

26/03/2024: We had a great weekend with my friends for my birthday. The cottage is bright, super large. The relaxation area is just magnificent with its cave effect. There is plenty to have fun and relax for the entire stay. Nothing to say, it's incredible. I recommend. 🙂

08/08/2024: Restaurant chaleureux, les défauts sont dans le titre. La fondue sans charcuterie à 20 € pax. C'est déjà pas donné. La demi assiette de charcuterie à 20€ contre 26 € pour la complète c'est carrément abuser et sans prévenir, en vous présentant ça comme une fleur ! Charcuterie coupée tellement fine qu'on n'en sent pas le goût. Ne demandez pas de dessert, il n'y a que des glaces ou un dessert maison qui ne l'est sans doute pas. Point positifs le fromage et le vin au pichet sont vraiment très bons.

26/07/2024: Les 2 sœurs courent beaucoup pour satisfaire la clientèle mais c’est parfois un peu juste. Leur sympathie est venue effacer la demi heure d’attente pour avoir la carte des apéros. Cuisine soignée , décorations sur l’assiette, quantités largement suffisantes.. et des pastels de nata faites maison et servies juste tièdes… un régal…bref une belle adresse à retenir si vous êtes de passage.

17/01/2025: €4 for a 50 cl bottle of Cristaline + 1 large coffee. Go there if you want to leave with the feeling of having been taken for a pigeon. It was the last time for me
