20/05/2026: I highly recommend this place. We had lunch on the terrace in this charming square in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. The service was quick, the portions generous, and the atmosphere very pleasant. A special mention goes to our waitress, Naja, who managed the terrace with exceptional kindness and helpfulness. Isn't it said that the staff creates the soul of an establishment? Thank you, Naja, and to the whole team.

15/05/2026: A great find in the city center. Very friendly staff. Lovely spring salad. Special mention for the truffle croque monsieur. The burger was good, but nothing special. A slight disappointment with the ribs; the sauce was a bit greasy.

18/04/2026: We arrived on a Friday at 1 p.m. The incredibly efficient waitress immediately found us a small table. The meal was very good, the service perfect – nothing to complain about.

17/04/2026: A great find! A small restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and lovely decor! The dishes were very generous, simple but excellent!

14/06/2026: We came on June 13th. The welcome was quite pleasant, and the white wine was decent for €4 a glass. However, I had a leek and scallop galette that was really not very good. There was no seasoning in the fondue, and it was rather bitter. The scallops didn't have their coral, and the sauce was tasteless. I forced myself to eat it so as not to spoil the atmosphere of our meal. The dessert, on the other hand, was very good: a nice thick crepe with caramelized apples and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. While chatting with my partner on the way out, I learned that her savory crepe wasn't great either. I would have gladly shared my observations with a waiter or at the till, but no one asked us if we had enjoyed our meal.

13/06/2026: It's a well-located place, but it's a real shame that the owner's welcome was so cold and nonchalant. For a first visit, this lack of consideration, and the way customers were treated like a bother simply by asking a question and being met with a dismissive "like always!", when it was their first time there, certainly didn't make them want to return. Furthermore, even the waitstaff didn't seem happy to be there. A SHAME.

01/06/2026: The staff were friendly but disorganized, resulting in a long wait. We arrived at noon and our starter wasn't served until 1 p.m., so you can imagine what time we were served our main course and dessert! I think the staff should be assigned tables instead of serving everyone, as they lose track of what's happening. The meal was good, but nothing special considering the price. It's a shame, but we won't be back.

18/04/2026: A huge thank you to Momo and Christian! We came for my partner's birthday on a Saturday evening. The welcome was superb, there was hardly any wait, and the food was delicious! They were always smiling and had a touch of humor that adds to the charm of the place. We highly recommend it, and we'll be back soon! Quentin and Ophélie.

14/04/2026: Very disappointed with the galettes... the batter was too thick to cook on just one side, and there was absolutely no butter! It's not a Breton galette... I'm really very disappointed. I didn't even try the crêpes. I'm replying to the owner; no, this isn't a fake review. I have the right to say it's not good... I've been making galettes every Friday for 30 years!

14/04/2026: Our go-to restaurant when traveling to Alès (from Nîmes). Close to the Sunday market and the Gardon River, in a shady spot, we've always received a warm welcome, friendly and quick service. The food is carefully prepared and plentiful. The home-style cooking is good, and everything is excellent value for money. A very reputable establishment.

17/05/2026: Frankly, it had been a long time since I'd felt so unwelcome in a bar or restaurant. I arrived around 10:15 p.m., and while several tables were still eating, I was simply told that the kitchen was closed and that they couldn't serve me anything to eat. When I asked for a non-alcoholic beer, I was told they didn't have any. I then asked for a lemonade, and it was served to me clearly reluctantly. I completely understand that she must have been tired, especially at the end of her shift, and I can understand the stress of the job. But honestly, I didn't feel comfortable at all. I stayed for about another hour. During all that time, the service to the other tables was polite and pleasant. But when it came time to pay, the tone completely changed. I don't know if it's because I'm Spanish, because I don't speak perfect French, or simply because it's immediately obvious I'm not from around here. But this kind of situation also helps you understand a little what it's like for people who face judgment or contempt because of their origin or accent. I do have a Spanish accent, yes, but I have many French friends and I've never had any trouble communicating. When it came time to pay, they spoke to me like I was a child, they laughed in my face, and when I said "thank you, goodbye," I didn't even get a response. Honestly, this experience makes me appreciate even more all the good servers and good people who treat their customers with the same respect, regardless of their nationality, accent, or what they're ordering.

10/05/2026: We ordered takeaway pizzas. They are very good (thin crust as we like it and well topped) and the managers are very pleasant.

25/05/2026: A lovely little village restaurant! You can park right in front. They were welcoming even at 10 pm, and there was no problem serving us. Plus, there's a good selection! A great little place to remember!

11/04/2026: The best pizzeria in the south, quality ingredients, and what's more, the meals and burgers are delicious. The owners are fantastic, nothing to complain about—welcoming, smiling, and attentive. The themed evenings are simply amazing. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal.
