08/09/2024: I never write a review but I just had to . Bought 2 macaroons and they were terrible and old. I brought them back and shipowner did not say anything so she knew.

16/09/2024: Well done to the waiter who alone managed the welcome, the service and the sympathy throughout the service, great value for money on the cuisine and served quickly!

12/09/2024: Lovely spot in front of the Arenas. Home made burger and fries, shame it wasn't very hot. Service good to start with then went downhill. Owner obviously prefers serving French as he walked past our table endless times and could see we had finished, although he cleared plenty of tables where French people were sitting! Took a while to attract the waitresses attention to order dessert. Won't be going back.

12/09/2024: I had a chicken panini, it was cold but a waitress kindly warmed it up for me.. for coffee with cold milk, €3 is still exaggerated... Really a shame..

11/11/2024: Nous avons très bien mangé, les portions étaient copieuses. L'accueil a été très aimable. Le service était rapide. Le cadre est sobre et élégant.

01/11/2024: Cassoulet servi froid, on le signale et il revient froid.... Le personnel semble ne pas être du métier, problème d'organisation malgré la bonne volonté.

06/07/2025: Avoid moules frites (mussels and fries) The mussels aren't cleaned, and marinière is just the name. The onions are boiled in water and placed on the mussels. The egg on the Caesar salad is cold, straight from the fridge. But there you go...it's summer and...in the south, the tourists are here. They're taking advantage, we know, but...we always hope.

04/11/2024: Restaurant on a pleasant square. No traffic, shaded. Very friendly and fast service. The dishes were very good. The menu offers something to satisfy everyone between fish, meat, burgers, salads, etc… Chosen by chance for the diversity of the menu to also satisfy children, we were not disappointed! The gourmet coffee was also delicious!

25/10/2024: After strolling through the charming little streets of the historic center, my friend and I took a break in this beautiful southern square shaded by plane trees. On the Place aux Herbes, you are truly spoiled for choice when it comes to finding a café. The best asset of Oustal is its location in the heart of the city of Uzès. As a snack, I chose a hearty plate of charcuterie.

16/12/2024: Good welcome from the boss and the young, friendly waiters. We enjoyed the Gardianne as always. A wonderful dessert to finish. The establishment is pleasant and the sanitary area is top notch. Decent price.

15/12/2024: Very nice moment for an impromptu lunch at Grau du Roi on a Sunday at noon. Warm and attentive staff. Excellent value for money. Very pretty view of the sea, the entrance to the port and Camargue port. We will definitely come back.

07/12/2024: Yesterday, we were in this restaurant for the rock frequency evening, a top group performing Johnny's classics. On the other hand, as for the meal, I paid 16€90 for a plate of salad, with absolutely nothing on the plate!!!! Other regulars had the same reaction!!!! A shame to serve this! I won't eat there again.

03/11/2024: Hello. Arrival at the beach side restaurant at 12:30 p.m. starter ordered immediately, I was served my starter at 1:30 p.m. 6 cold shrimps on the plate, 3 of which no longer had heads (probably reheated from the day before given the state of freshness) forgot to the 2nd starter, (my partner's mussels au gratin) after three requests arrived 20 minutes later. We ate the starter at 1:50 p.m. The dishes arrive 1 hour later after getting up to ask for them. Dry plus 10 fries plus salad put in bulk without any presentation. Uncooked bull skewer, also placed loose on the plate. Dessert: chocolate mousse with almost no chocolate taste and tarte tatin with a burnt taste. Departure 3:45 p.m. (disgusted) RESTAURANT TO AVOID.

17/11/2024: For a 4 star at €270 per night, traces of mold under the shower seal and the toilet seal At this price we must be at the top of the basket. A two-star hotel in low season on the French Riviera is well above that. It's a scam! 16/09/2024: We tested the restaurant based on the images of the dishes on their website, the location and the view which is truly fantastic!!! But what a disappointment since there were many of us we tried several dishes and none was worthy of the name?? Simply horrible, tasteless as can be, not even salty, only frozen products, even fries, are served to children and adults, desserts are just as frozen, ready to use, and some are served crunchy, that is to say partially frozen, we will pass on the presentation (1/2 cherry tomato and a leaf of lamb's lettuce) cherry on the cake the only menu was displayed at €49.00 starter main course dessert. , except on the bill all the dishes were charged a la carte more expensive of course than the menu!! In short, there was absolutely nothing positive about this canteen! Even the cleanliness was also very random? Since we ate on the terrace with a huge inhabited spider web! I strongly advise you not to go there and to go on your way happily! Furthermore, I would advise the management to put this restaurant under the management of a real professional in the field? Because everything suggests that you have nothing to do in this profession of restaurateur! while the place is really worth the detour!!! This comment is a service that I am rendering you because you cannot have a future in this continuity!

21/06/2025: €8.50 for a "hamburger" made from frozen bread, tasteless frozen chicken steak, industrial cheese and industrial sauce... I had to ask to be served a glass of water 10 minutes later. I was offered a "homemade" tea for €2. Served in hijab. Are they aware of what is going on around them?
