13/02/2026: What can I say… we experienced the previous experience… so the bar was set high… and I can assure you that it has been surpassed, and with flying colors… from aperitif to dessert… including the main course, cheese, and coffee, everything was top-notch… a truly wonderful team, a brilliant chef who takes you on a culinary journey… impeccable service… excellent advice… and a special mention to the sommelier who immerses you in his world… I haven't forgotten anyone, especially our waitress… what a fantastic team you are!!! 13/02/2026: We had a wonderful evening at Caveau Saint-Jean. We received excellent service from Annie and her colleagues—they were very kind, attentive, and welcoming, which immediately created a relaxed atmosphere. The pizza and the tarte flambée were both delicious, clearly prepared with care. The coffee was also very good, a lovely way to end the meal. Add to that a friendly and lively atmosphere, and you have all the ingredients for a successful evening. Highly recommended for those visiting Colmar who want to eat well in a pleasant atmosphere.

The food is delicious, it feels like I'm eating at my parents' house on Sundays!!! 🤗 From the service to the plates, just one small drawback: at my parents' house, I take a nap after a good meal!!! 🤗🤣 P.S. 29/11/2025: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! My partner and I booked this restaurant expecting to find an elegant atmosphere, respectful staff, and a level of hospitality befitting a Michelin-starred establishment. Unfortunately, the reality was completely the opposite. We were literally turned away, rudely and humiliatingly, simply for asking to order only one dish each from the à la carte menu. According to the restaurant's "internal rules"—which, of course, are nowhere to be found on their website or The Fork—you are required to order either an appetizer + first course or a first course + dessert. This rule was imposed and enforced arrogantly, with no intention of finding a solution. To make matters worse, the owner herself, instead of clarifying the situation professionally, decided to raise her voice and boast that "she makes the rules, whenever she wants." This was aggressive, disrespectful, and completely out of place, especially considering that the problem stemmed simply from the fact that, not finding any other dishes we liked, we wanted to order only two—a completely normal choice in a restaurant offering an a la carte menu. We had never been treated with such rudeness and arrogance, let alone kicked out of a restaurant, let alone a Michelin-starred one. We left feeling bitter, disappointed, and genuinely shocked.

29/11/2025: The most frustrating restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I booked this restaurant through TheFork, where a specific menu was clearly displayed. When we arrived, we were given a completely different menu — none of the listed dishes were available, and almost every option contained mushrooms. We don’t eat mushrooms, and the staff told us they could not remove a single ingredient from any dish. So we ordered the only two options left. That’s when things became unbelievable. The owner suddenly told us that we were “required” to order two dishes per person. When we asked where this rule was written, she said she decides when and to whom the rule applies, simply because “it’s her place”. When we calmly tried to explain our situation, she literally shushed us, putting her finger to her mouth and laughing at us in front of her entire staff. It was humiliating and completely unprofessional. Then she invented another rule on the spot: unless we ordered two dishes each, we would have to pay an extra £15 per person. This “fee” is not written anywhere, AND SHE AGREED THAT — not on the menu, not on the website, not on the booking confirmation. Moments later, she kicked us out of the restaurant in the most disrespectful way, in front of everyone. Not surprisingly, this was also the only empty restaurant in the entire Colmar. Avoid this place at all costs. Misleading, rude, unprofessional, and genuinely the worst dining experiences I’ve had in years.

09/01/2026: We couldn’t resist walking past this beautiful shop and weren’t disappointed. The staff were incredibly helpful and more than happy to indulge all our questions. The produce is fresh, as local as possible, and delicious. We came back the next day for more and enjoyed everything we came home with.

13/12/2025: Cynthia created a delicious cheese board for my family to enjoy while on holiday in Colmar. Her attention to detail was next level, ensuring a taste of many different produces. Highly recommend!

29/12/2025: We discovered the restaurant "Les Racines" and it was a very pleasant surprise. It's a charming, intimate restaurant where the food is absolutely delicious. The dishes are simply exquisite, expertly prepared, flavorful, and made with great care. The welcome is very warm, attentive, and genuine. The staff truly take excellent care of their customers with kindness and professionalism, which greatly contributes to the overall experience. We had a wonderful, convivial, and delicious time, and we will cherish the memory of this restaurant. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

13/02/2026: We go there from time to time, always with pleasure; the dishes are delicious and made with seasonal ingredients. The service is impeccable and quick. We recommend this place and often bring friends who haven't been to this restaurant. The only downside is the parking, but it's worth the effort. Colmar and Le Chaudron are worth it. A great find for those who haven't been before.

24/02/2026: A very good experience; the Munster cheese dish was delicious and generous! The apple dessert was amazing! Beautifully presented! However, when you order a Coke with a slice of lemon, it costs 30 cents.
