08/06/2026: A true gem! The U Vechju Mulinu restaurant is located on a magnificent, charming, and impeccably maintained estate. The setting is exceptional and invites relaxation. The cuisine is simply splendid: flavorful dishes, carefully prepared and showcasing excellent ingredients. Each plate is a delight for the eyes and the palate. The service is equally impressive: warm, attentive, and professional. You immediately feel at ease. For us, the best restaurant in the area! A truly wonderful place that we wholeheartedly recommend. 19/05/2026: We came here on a recommendation. Unfortunately, we can't share the enthusiasm. The staff's welcome was rather cold. My husband only wanted two scoops of ice cream (which were offered on the menu), and the server explained that he could get them outside the café. However, they only had soft-serve ice cream from a machine. He ended up just having coffee. I ordered a kind of Swiss roll from the counter. The sponge was either stale or that's how they bake it there. In any case, it wasn't fluffy. The filling could have been Nutella. The whipped cream came from a can. The selection at the counter was mainly focused on salads and various cookies. It's a shame; we expected more from a traditional patisserie.

14/05/2026: The hotel has spacious rooms; however, access via the cobbled street is quite daunting with large motorcycles. The room is well-maintained, and the owner is very friendly. Breakfast is served outside, which is quite pleasant when it's warm, but when it's cold… It's ideally located for visiting Corte.

06/02/2026: Fantastic experience! We found it by chance when the others were closed! A very intimate and elegant place for a couples dinner! We ordered: - Montmartre burger: with fresh meat (10/10), melted cheddar (10/10), tomatoes and lettuce (10/10), avocado (10/10). The bread was delicious, not as heavy as other breads, but it perfectly complemented the whole thing. Accompanied by homemade chips and salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. - Chorizo ​​pizza: also good, not as good as the Neapolitan pizza, but absolutely fine! Good value for money (€18 per person with 1 liter of water)

04/04/2026: The hotel owner helped us out in an emergency. After a car accident, we were waiting at a gas station with our luggage for the insurance company to get in touch. When it became clear in the evening that the insurance company wasn’t going to call, we contacted the Accendi Pipa. Despite the late hour and the restaurant still being open, the hotel owner generously offered to pick us up, luggage and all. We were even treated to a delicious dinner before we checked into our family apartment that was spacious and modernly furnished. We will always cherish the memory of this Corsican hospitality and helpfulness.

We received a very warm welcome from the owner's mother, a lovely lady, and her husband, who served us very well as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the warm musical ambiance, surrounded by very traditional decor. 😍🤗🎅🏼🌲

01/01/2026: An absolutely magnificent shop, with a very warm welcome. The Christmas decorations, done with exquisite taste, were a feast for the eyes and created an almost magical atmosphere. We received excellent advice and were able to enjoy some lonzo, coppa, and exceptional fig jam at home: high-quality products, a real treat. And to top it all off, an unexpected little bonus: a piano playing Christmas music, which made the moment even more special. A big thank you for this wonderful experience; it's a place I highly recommend.

11/04/2026: I had dinner there with a group of about twenty people. It's not necessarily a place you'd think of, and yet... The setting is charming, and the staff very welcoming. The dishes are prepared with care and a genuine desire to please the customers, without overdoing it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and you have a lovely time enjoying a delicious meal. The portions are very generous. Thank you to the ladies and the Chef for their attentiveness 😊 I highly recommend it!
