13/01/2026: Good food, fast and efficient service.

05/01/2026: Basic pizza with little flavor. The waitress rolled her eyes when I spoke and looked at my hearing aids, and instead of saying hello when I did, she walked away, saying she was going to get some bread... Despite the nice location, I won't be going back because of the service.

05/04/2026: The waiter was fantastic, professional, and the food was excellent! The Corsica Burger was superb, and the roast lamb with vegetables was delicious. I highly recommend it!

11/04/2026: I had dinner there with a group of about twenty people. It's not necessarily a place you'd think of, and yet... The setting is charming, and the staff very welcoming. The dishes are prepared with care and a genuine desire to please the customers, without overdoing it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and you have a lovely time enjoying a delicious meal. The portions are very generous. Thank you to the ladies and the Chef for their attentiveness 😊 I highly recommend it!

27/02/2026: Excellent welcome from the waitress and the chef! We had lunch on the terrace: brocciu and mint cannelloni, caramel pork, figatellu and lentils, and figatellu cassoulet. Everything was delicious and presented appetizingly, in generous portions. Fast service. Unbeatable value for money. Even Louis, our very large dog, received all the attention. An excellent place!

21/03/2026: Good coffee on Place Saint Nicolas, great waiter

16/03/2026: An impolite waitress. I understand it was 8:30 in the morning, but that doesn't excuse her rudeness. We asked her for coffee and pastries, and she gave us a dirty look and was almost aggressive in her speech. Absolutely useless, she should be fired.

18/11/2025: I'm revisiting an experience I had in August, during which I had the opportunity to eat several times at this restaurant, L'Écurie. Each visit left me with the same impression: that of a place where you immediately feel welcome, almost as if you were returning to a vacation home. Andrea's family is exceptionally warm, always ready to share an anecdote or a piece of their region's history, with a natural generosity that can't be faked. The cuisine reflects those who prepare it: local, authentic, and bursting with flavors that speak for themselves. And for those who enjoy discovery, a few touches of Asian inspiration sometimes elevate the dishes, with a surprising finesse that works wonderfully. Nothing is forced; everything is just right. You eat delicious, balanced dishes, prepared with talent and a lot of heart. The view adds even more to the magic of the place. A picturesque and authentic landscape, the kind of setting that perfectly complements a cuisine full of character. It's a place that deserves to be savored, to take the time to breathe, to savor, to chat with this family, proud of their region and their Corsica, and also proud to offer simple, honest, and deeply engaging cuisine. 17/09/2025: We ordered a heirloom tomato and burrata. We were served regular tomatoes. We pointed this out, and the owner said, "Well, if you know better than me." But when the waitress came back, she said, "I asked the chef. Indeed, we were out of heirloom tomatoes. Sorry." The burrata must have been mozzarella. In short, they treat tourists like fools here. There you have it…

12/12/2025: Close friends stayed at the hotel this summer. They were delighted until they decided to go to the second pool, where the lifeguard rudely asked them to leave their shoes outside. They complied, of course. My friends overheard this man criticizing a German family with whom he had apparently had a disagreement before. My friends told me they wouldn't be returning. This man in charge of the pool ruined their stay.

21/11/2025: I was very disappointed with my visit to L’Annexe in Corte. I had an unpleasant surprise with my meal, and no compensation was offered. On top of that, I was charged €6 for a simple bottle of sparkling water, which I found outrageous. A truly disappointing experience; I won't be going back.

15/04/2026: Excellent restaurant, perfect welcome, smiling staff, and high-quality dishes. We shared a mixed platter of Corsican charcuterie and cheese, zucchini fritters, and for dessert, a chestnut flan and a fiadone. In short, it was fantastic; I recommend it to all vacationers.

30/10/2025: It was a lovely experience having lunch on the beach with the citadel in view. The service was warm and the food was good, with a special mention for the chestnut crème brûlée.

11/10/2025: The food was great, but the staff either couldn't or wouldn't speak English. Another server tried to salvage the situation, so I'm giving them two stars for service. Otherwise, the food was good. Unfortunately, the ambiance suffered because of the poor service.

03/04/2026: It appears this hotel is now closed. I was notified on 13th March 2026 that the owner had died suddenly, which is very sad to hear. The website is still up, but you can't book any dates. I had a booking in April and the hotel had taken 50% deposit of the fees from me. They have said they will refund me.
