11/11/2025: In the year of our Lord 2025, riding for the king through the lands of Toulouse, I stopped in the city of Grenade, at the threshold of a house called La Croisée des Saveurs (The Crossroads of Flavors). This name, I must say, aroused my suspicion, for many a tavern keeper boasts of flavors and delicacies without ever serving them. I presented myself as a noble herald of the royal palace, bearer of a sacred quest: to find, for our lord, the finest cooks in the kingdom, those whose hands do not tremble before the fire or the sauce. I therefore sent word to the chef for a sauté of farm-raised veal from Gers with olives, a dish perilous above all others, where many a cook has broken their neck. The master of the house, a man with clear eyes and a proud bearing, accepted the challenge without a word. The fire crackled, the meat hissed, and soon a scent so noble rose from the hearth that it thrilled my seasoned senses. When I tasted the first bite, my doubts vanished like mist in the sunlight: the veal, tender and true to its land, blended with the olives so perfectly that it seemed a marriage sealed by God and by art. The waiters, diligent and discreet, served without affectation but with poise. The place exudes order and restraint, no unnecessary pomp, but everything rings true and true. Thus I bear witness, I, a knight in the service of the king and censor of the kingdom's kitchens: La Croisée des Saveurs is worthy of inclusion in the royal register of exceptional restaurants. Let no gourmet pass through Granada without stopping here, for it is a work of art and culinary integrity. 06/12/2025: A wonderful evening in this unique setting. We opted for the tasting menu. The cuisine is inventive, perhaps with too many surprises and flavors. It's important to pay close attention to the order of the appetizers (otherwise, your taste buds will get overwhelmed). A very good wine list with some unexpected discoveries. Thank you all, your two stars are well deserved.

04/12/2025: How to put it… in life, there are sometimes failing grades, and yet everything was perfect: the precision and quality of the food, the tableware, the glassware, the cutlery, the service, but… a beautiful table (there were 12 of us) and I noticed a strange tabletop, very flexible, with unpleasantly uneven edges. I lifted the beautiful white tablecloth and discovered a damaged old particleboard, the edges completely crumbling, not even worthy of a village hall. Gentlemen, be serious and consistent. A tabletop that extends the table, why not, but a minimum of quality for such a place, and consistency. For me, this is a fatal flaw.

27/11/2025: Concert Great atmosphere One small drawback During a concert, it would be nice to create a more intimate atmosphere in the bar area. That is, to turn off those three awful lights. The downside of Le Chardon is that the band is on the side where people are eating; if you're in the bar area, you can't see anything.

20/11/2025: As usual, it's absolutely delicious! The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. The quality is truly exceptional, especially for a lunch menu at €15.90. Excellent value for money, I highly recommend it.
