15/04/2026: Our leader Philippe Sartre, aka "Philou the dog" from Place Bachelier, loves his daughter Penelope, far too much even, to the point of doing certain things with her. Anyway, that's their business, a family affair.

14/04/2026: A standard order at the start of service: a steak and fries. The meat was barely edible. The fries were soggy and burnt. I asked for some bread, but they were out, and it was 12:15 PM! What a disappointment, especially considering the Capitole. The food didn't live up to the location and wasn't that cheap. I left a rather bitter tourist. Luckily, the cassoulet in a small neighborhood near the center cheered me up...

20/10/2025: A magnificent, timeless place, where you feel more like you're being welcomed by friends in their second home than like guests. We've been returning several times a year for several years, as a couple or as a family, both for intimate meals and birthdays. The wedding reception was also the venue for the marriage proposal, as we chose the date based on Frédéric and Céline's availability, as it was such a no-brainer. (No divorce planned for the moment, but if it does happen, it will also be celebrated there 😁) I won't comment on the rare negative reviews because everyone has different expectations and sensibilities, and while some people don't want to come back or advertise it, it guarantees only wonderful encounters during the "table d'hôtes" meals. 16/10/2025: Aside from perhaps the possible goal of being seen from space or working with the local ophthalmologists for retinal burns, the place is nice. But I implore you to do something with your big screen outside, set to "hell brightness" or "epileptic nightmare" mode, I don't know. It's more repulsive than anything else, it's really eye-sore (not to mention the energy expenditure), and it's useless, especially at night, even more so when the restaurant is closed.

19/02/2026: It used to be an excellent place. Delicious food. Cozy atmosphere. Professional service. It was... because of a change of ownership. It's true that there was only lunch service. Nothing in the evening. Takeout was available, but it wasn't really suited to this type of cuisine. What a shame. For once, we had a good place to eat in the Lauragais region.

24/03/2026: Le Mambikas restaurant in Toulouse is a wonderful discovery. I particularly enjoyed the spicy coconut chicken, which was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. A big thank you to Sébastien, who was very attentive and offered excellent advice throughout the meal. The warm decor with its exotic touches creates a truly unique atmosphere.
