11/04/2026: The food was quite good, but what I found problematic was the portion size. €16.90 per person for the truffade, and we ended up with a medium-sized pan to share between four people. It was clearly far from the advertised 300g, more like 150g. It had been a very long time since I'd left a restaurant feeling hungry, and yet I'd ordered an extra side dish.

26/05/2026: Terrible service (especially from the young woman), extremely long wait times with no apologies, a carafe of water after 20 minutes in 30-degree heat, we had to get up three times to ask for things because no one came to help us (and I should mention that there were hardly any customers), the food was passable but frankly nothing special. The only positive point: the location is nice.

28/05/2026: I can't say enough good things about Le Mambikas (Chez Mambo). It's a real neighborhood hub where all the neighbors come because the owner is an incredible woman who attracts wonderful people. Yes, the terrace overlooking the Garonne is lovely and the drinks are good, but it's mainly for Mambo that people come, and she's there every day running the place single-handedly. As a traveler staying briefly in the neighborhood, I felt very lucky to have stumbled upon this place. Mambo is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel right at home. She's funny, quirky, and very relaxed and calm even when there's a line of people waiting to talk to her. Thank you, Mambo, for everything. 😘 (In case my translation isn't good…) This is a community hub that all the neighbors go to because the owner is an amazing woman who attracts wonderful people. Yes, the patio next to the Garonne is nice and the drinks are good, but it’s Mambo everyone comes to see, and she is there every day running the place by herself. As a traveler living briefly in the neighborhood, I felt very lucky to have stumbled upon this place. Mambo is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel like you’re in her home. She is funny, she is outrageous, and she’s very relaxed and calm even when there is a line of people waiting for her. Thank you, Mambo, for everything😘 .

08/04/2026: I was told I'd be disappointed compared to before, and indeed I was very disappointed. When you see the mayonnaise in a packet, the foie gras was really bad—more like liver mousse—and the toast was at least three days old, let alone for dessert, whipped cream from a can, if Jeanne the farmer saw this, she'd be turning in her grave.

06/04/2026: As many others have mentioned, the service leaves something to be desired, with menus being tossed on the table. Furthermore, we also have some doubts about the freshness of the products and the lack of information on the drinks: the orangeade doesn't mention that it also contains mint, and the raspberry-pear smoothie doesn't mention that it contains banana. Also, we had to pay to take our cake home (it came in a box for a fee!). Otherwise, the portions are quite generous, which is rather unusual and worth noting.
