26/08/2026: Positive points: - Change of ownership. The new team is very pleasant, - Considerable improvement in the quality of the food. Areas for improvement: - The dining room is noisy. There are ways to reduce the noise inexpensively, - The soundproofing can mask the gloomy decor, - It was very hot in the dining room, even though it was empty.

04/08/2026: We were very well seated and welcomed, but very disappointed by the food (the piece of meat was full of sinew, rubbery, and poorly cooked) and the "café gourmand" where the 3 small desserts (around vanilla ice cream) were really not great...

14/08/2026: Dinner with friends last night. We stumbled upon this brasserie. A very good brasserie! Lots of homemade dishes, and the service is excellent. I'll be back :-)

12/09/2026: A magnificent place, the food is excellent, generous, organic, and of very high quality. I particularly love the decor, and I must admit that eating with silver cutlery is so chic. I recommend all the cakes, especially the carrot cake, which you can enjoy there or take away. I can't not mention the owner and his sharp, but oh-so-funny, sense of humor. 11/09/2026: "SO BRITISH" is a true London escape right in the heart of Toulouse. The setting is elegant, with English china, silver cutlery, and British decor. The atmosphere is calm, offering all the hallmarks of a perfect tea time. The prices are very reasonable, with a single price for any cake. And the slices... well, you'll need a good appetite because they're truly generous. The two scones are substantial and absolutely delicious, served warm with whipped cream and jam. The staff is young and helpful. A wonderful find.

17/08/2025: We spent about 100 euros for two people. Invited by friends, we were quite disappointed with the quality and service, especially considering the prices. Let me explain: two beef fillets were 36 euros each, and two desserts were 15 euros each—nothing fancy. Yes, it was good, but far too expensive for what you get. I'm being honest, but as you can see in the photo, it was a bit messy and nowhere near as good as fine dining for the same price.

14/08/2025: A wonderful discovery thanks to a gift certificate! We chose the four-course menu and everything was delicious, from the amuse-bouche to the dessert. The place is calm and pleasant. Special mention to the service: Sandra and the young waiter were lovely, attentive, and very professional. We highly recommend it and can't wait to discover the new location!

27/09/2026: A restaurant, a cuisine, an atmosphere that takes you back in time—thank you for this wonderful meal: cabbage soup followed by a garlic sausage salad, then homemade achiparmentier, then homemade apple tart, then coffee for €18 in 2026! After this, I'm going to feel like I'm being ripped off in every restaurant in France!

14/08/2026: A lovely restaurant located on a very quiet square. The setting is extremely pleasant, especially in the early evening. The portions are generous and the quality is excellent (we especially loved the double cheeseburger!). Special mention to the service: friendly, smiling, and (very) attentive to the animals (Alex, we wish you all the best for the future ;)).

12/08/2026: It was very, very good. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were simply the best I've ever had.

06/08/2026: A pleasant restaurant with a warm welcome and attentive service throughout the meal. The dishes are simple, well-presented, and the portions are decent. The steak tartare and fries were good. The dining room is clean but could use a little updating; the overall impression is a bit dated. A good place for an unpretentious meal, offering good value for money and friendly staff.

20/09/2026: Everything is very good, and always has been. It's delicious. Everything is supposedly homemade and prepared on-site. But… As for the Capitole cake, every time I buy one, the Italian meringue spills onto the neighboring cakes by the time I get home. A thin strip of acetate around the Capitole cake would help keep them looking presentable…
