20/12/2025: Passing through in the early afternoon for a quick stop during a long hike, I received a wonderfully warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious, hearty, homemade meal from appetizer to dessert (a magnificent gourmet coffee)! A truly great experience! Thank you again!

01/07/2025: Don't bother if you're vegetarian & hungry. Everyone else in our group of seven very much enjoyed their meals. I was told there is no house salad, although some came with others' plates. I ordered two adequate entrees (€24) + agreed to a chef's plate of vegetables. My entrees never came, I received a plate I would describe as a taster of mash & mousse, & I was left depending on the very good bread & beer. If only they had brought the second glass. The chef's option ended up being €21 & I hsd to find my nutrition elsewhere.

20/01/2026: A truly wonderful experience to celebrate my birthday. The gourmet menu was high-quality, well-thought-out, and well-balanced. The manager, both discreet and attentive, contributed to a serene atmosphere. Everything was perfectly coordinated, from the setting to the food, with a genuine sense of conviviality.

23/01/2026: I'm giving it 1 star because we didn't get a chance to eat. The restaurant was full. We were rudely turned away. They said: "I can't seat you all on top of each other." The service was appalling. Oh well, so much for the fondue 😡

Everything was fantastic from entries to desserts, we really loved the formula “all you can eat, serve yourself”. Special cheers to Irina, the waiter, extremely kind and smiling. Explained to us everything in detail (even in English for our non French speakers)

04/02/2026: A truly fantastic restaurant! My wife and I are new to Toulouse, and I was looking for a nice place to celebrate my birthday (November 2024 for my first review). There's no set menu; everything is à la carte, but the portions are well-balanced. We're not big eaters and don't like to waste food, so we were hesitant to order a starter, main course, and dessert, but our waiter was incredibly helpful with his recommendations (thank you!). I really liked the wine list, as it has quite a few wines from the Aude and Hérault regions, since I'm originally from the area! We opted for the house-smoked salmon and parsley-crusted razor clams as starters, which were perfectly cooked. Then we had a duck breast skewer with foie gras sauce and a delicious plain flank steak! The meat is of excellent quality, exceptionally tender, and they know how to cook it perfectly over a wood fire. Next time, I'll be less timid and order the ribeye steak straight away! The potatoes, prepared the old-fashioned way and served with it, were fantastic!!! We should have asked for it without salad to avoid waste. For dessert, we had homemade crème catalane and a Paris-Brest with homemade whipped cream. Plus, there was an extra little candle as a surprise—it had been ages since I'd blown one out, and I had to try twice to blow it out!! In short, some longtime Toulouse residents recommended this place to me, and you can go there without hesitation! The establishment was actually opened by the father of the current manager, if I'm to believe what I've been told. One tiny negative point: my wife's glass of red wine was ice cold, even though it was ordered well in advance... We went on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant was packed! Another visit to this lovely establishment on December 25, 2025 (yes, Christmas Day!), I did indeed order the ribeye steak as promised and it was absolutely delicious :) (They're open every day except January 1st; we had the same waiter, we recognized each other :)) Meat lovers, it's an open bar for your appetites! Superbly cooked over a wood fire, incredibly tender meat—in short, you absolutely must go!

02/02/2026: Mixed feelings! The service was a bit too fast; we were barely seated before being asked what we wanted! The vegetarian dish with ravioli was excellent! However, we were very disappointed with the sirloin steak; it was cold and completely undercooked!

10/07/2025: Second attempt, same disappointment: service urgently needs to be improved This was our second visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience was just as disappointing, mainly due to the deplorable service. The menu offers decent dishes, but the front-of-house staff ruins everything. The owner's welcome is particularly unfortunate: we were left standing in the middle of the restaurant, "stuck" there, while he rushed to seat new arrivals. A situation that made you want to turn around before even being seated. Furthermore, the owner doesn't hesitate to make inappropriate remarks. Although he's at home and has to deal with all sorts of situations, his approach as a business owner clearly needs to be improved. The service in general is appalling. The servers seem to be unfamiliar with their tables, which leads to interminable waits (an hour for the starter!). To top it all off, a waitress tried to take our plates away before we had even finished our last bite. In short, while the food is acceptable, the staff and service are a complete disaster that doesn't make us want to return.

08/12/2025: I ordered the set meal and it was good. We did a reservation just to make sure that we will be able to get a table and it was very convenient. The quality of food is high and the price is pretty decent too. I highly reccomendation it.

31/08/2024: Je connais depuis 1993 dont certains locaux l appellent la bascule c des souvenirs indélébiles (fleurs de courgettes etc… avec le papa) il y a toujours cette âme dans cette maison tout est juste très belle prestation
