15/12/2024: I had booked via the website and we were placed on the terrace side where the setting is much less pleasant. It’s a shame that on the site you don’t give a choice of location. Plus I had booked a week before.

14/12/2024: Weekday dinner for two…quiet. Very nice welcome, the slice of pan-fried foie gras with its ravioli was so good. An atypical setting on the bus, the boss's rum arranged when leaving. Don't change anything

30/11/2024: Même si nous sommes arrivés une heure avant l'ouverture, le propriétaire a pu nous préparer un merveilleux repas. Bon rapport qualité-prix et vin à bon prix.

27/09/2024: Ambiente informal de estilo bistró escondido sobre un patio de la tienda de ciclo con carácter. Menú sencillo de platos recién hechos. Mi sopa de puerro con pan integral y un plato principal de ensalada verde estilo tapas con tapenade, queso, pimiento asado relleno con un poco de ‘porc heueuse’ bañado con un bière rubio y una copa de rojo de la casa fue una cena perfecta. Y rodeado de, principalmente franceses, comensales que suenan felices. Planeando volver la semana que viene de camino a casa.

26/01/2025: I have been to this establishment several times and have never had a bad experience. However, during my last visit (dating from yesterday) something happened that forced me to put a review and not come back. Indeed, this time I chose a chocolate crepe (which I had never tasted here before) and I didn't know that it was dark chocolate. It wasn't specified and I didn't ask for it either so when I received it and tasted it, I didn't like it at all. So, I left the rest of the crepe but I still paid for it before leaving without asking anything. However, without complaining or anything like that, the waiter came to ask if there had been a problem. So I replied that I simply didn't like this chocolate but that beyond that there was no problem. Except that the waiter, not at all friendly, seemed annoyed and left, stammering a few words that seemed to be unpleasant so as not to mention them...I understand that it's unpleasant to throw away food but I had already paid for it and I didn't complain. And to put the icing on the cake, the person I was accompanied by found a hair in his crepe so after a while the roles should not be reversed as if the customers had to satisfy the waiters. I still want to say that it was only the server and not the other employees at the counter. Moreover, I had already noticed at the beginning how the waiter presented a rather questionable or even simply unpleasant attitude. In fact, when I came home (I was accompanied by another person) he was not welcoming at all: no hello or polite words. It seemed more like he didn't want to work and that really had an impact on the customers. Because in fact he wasn't just unsympathetic to me. When a lady with a baby arrived and asked for a table, he seemed to be stuffed but still pointed out where she could sit. The lady, for some reason, did not immediately go to the table but when she did the young man immediately frowned and made an unpleasant expression. However, it is true that the setting of the retro-style place is rather pleasant and that the teas as well as the savory pancakes are excellent. It's really a shame that the waiter's attitude ruined my experience by complaining instead of offering service as would have been appropriate. Shame on him.

15/01/2025: Very good restaurant, very good atmosphere and attentive waitress and chef. Be careful, natural wine, not everyone likes it (including me), but they were able to find a wine that I found OK, this last point is only my opinion, and does not call into question the great evening spent over there.

24/08/2024: Accueil souriant, chaleureux et décontracté (Joanna a été élue à l’unanimité « serveuse la plus sympathique de l’année »). Plats excellents et réalisés à la perfection, le vin était également très bon, le dressage soigné. Jolie décoration, salle climatisée (ni trop, ni trop peu). Parfait parfait !

20/09/2024: We came from Brittany with my friend and had a very generous surprise starter. Then exceptional fevoulet. The strawberry melba dessert is killer. We recommend this exceptional address. PS: I recommend not eating at lunch. Laurence and Fabienne

19/09/2024: very good experience at Point D’ogre. The decoration takes us into an ancient France. The servers are warm and very smiling. The starter and dessert are monstrously high quality. The dish is neat and tastes good

07/12/2024: Une découverte pour nous. Des buffets de très grande qualité avec des produits frais. Il y en a vraiment pour tous les goûts. Des plats chauds traditionnels comme par exemple ce jour là : du cochon de lait, de la canette, du boeuf bourguignon. Et pour vous entourer un personnel très professionnel ayant un grand sens de l'accueil, discret mais très efficace. Avec une mention spéciale pour Jemma, une jeune fille dont l'enthousiasme, la bonne humeur et l'efficacité a bonifié notre satisfaction, un vrai rayon de soleil. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

11/11/2024: un super buffet ; avec comme principal atout des produits de qualité , pour les plats c' est plutôt grillades et rotisserie ; il faut bien regarder et on trouve des "perles" je me souviens d' un gratin de fruits de mer délicieux ; le seul buffet qui n' est pas toujours bien approvisionné c' est celui de la mer ; les huitres étaient trés attendues Il y a aussi l' ambiance et le service ; celui çi est particulièrement attentionné

20/11/2024: We have just had lunch with a Foie Gras with death trumpets and chanterelles, followed by a dish made with fresh scallops and finished with a mille-feuille. Perfect in every way and at all levels: quality, food/wine pairing, service, setting. We can't wait for us to come back and for our friends to also enjoy this extraordinary restaurant. 01/11/2024: We had lunch this afternoon at the restaurant, it was a very pleasant experience, pleasant and friendly quality service and perfect cuisine from start to finish. Tasty, refined and copious cuisine. I highly recommend it and we will happily come back.

22/08/2024: Very disappointed with this second dinner, 2 years later. Aside from the superb setting and the rather friendly staff, the dishes were more than disappointing… A non-existent appetizer which boils down to 2 small canapes served before the ordered aperitif. A savory starter in which a few mussels are bathed in a sauce, a very floury lobster combined with strawberries which are too present, a meat and its accompaniment both far too dry despite the juice. An addition of more than 300€ to 2 for an intermediate menu, we are close to the prices of starred restaurants but very far in terms of quality of the dishes. Really disappointed.. I am modifying this opinion to follow up on your response: I expressed the concern about the lobster to your server, a small dish was also kindly offered to us in relation to that; afterwards I didn't want to add any more when I made the note, it stuck a little in my throat and the person I had in front of me had nothing to do with it. I’m not in the habit of “breaking” for free. We are used to going to gourmet restaurants and my husband is of the same opinion as me regarding our dinner, so I had to tell you.

22/08/2024: Perfect quality, both in terms of the menus allowing us to rediscover tastes sometimes forgotten over time, and in terms of the caring, professional employees. Originality and finesse.

18/09/2024: Resto réservé pour une réunion avec des collègues européens, et pas grand chose à reprocher: equipe réactive, à l'écoute. Des cassoulets pour trois qui ont sans doute laissé des souvenirs impérissable (qualité+taille des portions!), tout le monde a apprécié y compris les locaux. Le cadre est chaleureux. Même si il ya pas mal de touristes, la cuisine est vraiment représentative du sud-ouest. Top.

11/09/2024: Bonne situation dans une petite rue en plein centre ville. On est bien accueilli et la carte présente un choix important de plats du terroir. Cuisine très correcte , bon rapport qualité-prix. Une adresse à retenir pour une étape lors d'une visite de la ville.

21/09/2024: We went to this restaurant last night to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. A first for us, and what a wonderful moment! We took the “Le Gourmand” menu, what surprises! Exquisite flavors and very careful presentation. We had the opportunity to taste swordfish, a delight. For the earthy side we had lamb... I admit I panicked when I heard the title of the dish, because I really hate lamb in all its forms and there was a big surprise when I found it. to die for, a marvel! What can we say about the Roquefort ice cream... a gem! A memorable moment for us, the staff are adorable and very professional, we will come back for sure! Well done to the chef and well done to you gentlemen in the dining room.

28/08/2024: Tout d'abord, très bon accueil et cadre rustique chaleureux. Service efficace et très sympathique. Plats savoureux et généreux. Ambiance décontractée. Bref, un bel endroit où tout est réuni pour passer un agréable moment. Une adresse qui mérite le détour et d'où on sort pleinement satisfait.

28/09/2024: Venus avec un groupe de retraités du Lot, nous avons apprécié le cassoulet qui est sans doute un des meilleurs que nous ayons goûté. Service amical et souriant.
