22/07/2026: Discovered the restaurant L'Occitan today. It was a very pleasant surprise, first of all an exceptional welcome and then a generous and delicious meal. From the appetizer to the dessert, it was a true delight. Many thanks to the whole team for this wonderful experience, I highly recommend it! 👌🏿

04/08/2026: A wonderful discovery. We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance, and it was a great find. It's a unique place, perfect for cycling enthusiasts. The meal was hearty with delicious ingredients, and the service was excellent.

28/07/2026: An amazing little cafe opposite Toulouse Train Station. It is centred around a bike shop, with a lovely shaded terrace behind, serving fabulous food and good coffee. Plus the service was superb, especially given I’d turned up 45 min before the regular midday lunch started. I certainly tested the ladies patience with my appalling French. But she was gracious and kind. Highly recommended!

The service is impeccable. Everyone is so friendly, and seeing the spry 89-year-old matriarch taking orders is truly heartwarming. Thanks to her, I think back to my paternal grandparents, who were small shopkeepers in the Cépière district of Toulouse, working tirelessly every day. They instilled in me the true value of hard work. THANK YOU to the entire restaurant team!

22/07/2026: Family-run grill restaurant: the welcome is very warm, and the food is good and inexpensive. From Monday to Thursday, there's a €21 set menu including a starter, main course (kebabs), dessert, and a drink—very good and excellent value. The service is very friendly. I highly recommend it: this restaurant proves that you can find good grilled meat outside of the big restaurant chains.
