The duck confit was very good, but the fries were very average (either soggy or undercooked) and the salmon was undercooked. Otherwise, the atmosphere and the location are nice, as is the service.

16/01/2026: Excellent gourmet dinner, featuring local and international produce, all expertly prepared and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, the wine and drinks list was concise but focused on the essentials, and the service was energetic, friendly, and efficient, especially for a Saturday night. The noise level was reasonable for a full restaurant. The interior decor, however, was rather plain, but what matters is what's on the plate. I'll definitely be back.

15/02/2026: One evening, we made a reservation at L’Authentique, a restaurant I highly recommend. The food is excellent, especially the very tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat served with forest-style potatoes. The portions are very generous, and the desserts are delicious. The staff is very friendly and all gentlemen, which I think is a great touch. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the team.

17/02/2026: We arrived as a group of six, a bit of a surprise, and received a fantastic welcome 😁 My dad was thrilled to celebrate his 70th birthday in this lovely atmosphere. The setting was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was provided by attentive waiters and waitresses. From aperitifs to coffee, the pace of service was perfect... no waiting at all, everything was cooked to perfection, the fries and other sides were delicious, the meat and fish dishes were absolutely divine, the cuisine was simple yet original and expertly prepared. We left completely satisfied and full... unbeatable value for money!!! Keep up the good work, you're a fantastic team. Thank you ❤️

It was a real challenge for the chef Matthew since I had asked for a 100% vegan meal from aperitif to dessert 😅 Challenge successfully met 😉 Thanks again to everyone 🙏🏻

21/08/2025: Store with exorbitant prices, complicated traceability, in the end, we're not really sure if it's better... Sustainable food, yes, meh... A frosty welcome, disorganized traffic... And I come back to the prices, a real joke. Moreover, "online shopping" is more expensive than online. So disappointing. The price-to-quantity ratio is ridiculous. To think that there are people filling their shopping carts in this store. Mind-blowing. I went to the supermarket further away where I filled a cart with plant-based products for a reasonable price and a satisfactory quantity. Never again Biocoop. 😅

12/02/2026: A very warm welcome, fantastic value for money! The steak was cooked perfectly, the lamb shank was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the homemade fries were delicious – a real treat! Just a short walk from the train station, perfect for waiting for our train and ending our holiday! We highly recommend it! Stéphanie and Laura

15/01/2026: Friendly welcome, but overall not very professional. No prices for drinks or wine were displayed. In fact, we didn't see a menu. The meal was average (poorly cooked dishes, rare beef served medium-rare, rare duck breast served pink). The Landes salad consisted of chicken gizzards, ham, bacon, lettuce, and croutons. It was rather slow. The desserts were so-so. The floating island was not homemade (an assembly), and the chocolate mousse was runny. There was no bill, just a calculation on the phone! We didn't know what we were paying for or how much it cost. The experience wasn't unpleasant, but very average.

17/02/2026: We came on Friday evening and had a great time. The food was really delicious and the manager was very friendly. We'll definitely be back!

11/11/2025: My husband and I had a great time. The manager was very kind, we loved the decor, and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced! We arrived an hour before closing time, but the manager was still very welcoming.
