04/10/2024: We reserved a table for 4 people on Wednesday for Sunday evening - the restaurant wasn't open on Sunday - that's a no go!!

11/10/2024: On n’est venu en famille pour passer du temps , nous avons pris le menu du jour mais il n’y avais plus l’entrée ensuite viande trop dur et pour le dessert il y était plus !! Je ne recommande pas

30/09/2024: Bon accueil. Menu à 25 € : souris d'agneau avec radis et pommes de terre (délicieux) (24 € si plat seul) + tarte au citron meringuée (7 € si dessert seul) (délicieux aussi).

13/09/2024: Very good, tasty menu. Inexpensive. Absolutely recommended. With a view of the Canal du Midi lock. Unfortunately there is a busy intersection in front of the bar.

29/08/2024: After a not very interesting boat trip, we stumbled upon this café at the end of the quay of Port Neuf. A pretty shaded terrace and a place off the tourist trail and out of time which is worth stopping there. We ate very well among tables reserved by locals who seemed to appreciate the place. And we understand... the dishes are copious, well presented and delicious. The service is family-friendly, jovial and the café dog who passes among the customers is adorable and our daughter really liked it. A place to recommend to tourists looking for authenticity and calm during the summer.

11/11/2024: Très agréable surprise et heureux hasard lors d’un séjour entre amis. Pas forcément convaincus devant l’ enseigne qui nous indique un " petit bistrot " alors qu’il s’agit en fait d’un véritable lieu gastronomique où le chef ( et patron) cuisine de délicieux mets presque sous vos yeux et visite chaque table après dégustation accompagné de sa joyeuse équipe. Ce Restaurant mérite amplement 5 étoiles 🌟

11/05/2024: We entered the restaurant, no one having heard us enter, we waited and had to move towards the kitchen so that our presence would be noticed. Amazement when we see a woman smoking in the kitchen. The rest of the meal was ruined by what we saw when we arrived. At the time of addition, we ask questions about this and the answers given do not correspond to what we clearly saw. It would be a question of a regular customer who smoked in the courtyard when she was indeed in the kitchen and smoking there. It's difficult to have a good time after seeing such a lack of hygiene. As a reminder, according to the CE 852/2004 standard, a professional kitchen must be well maintained, provide sufficient space and allow for good sanitary practices in order to ensure consumer safety.

30/08/2024: Si vous cherchez un restaurant à touristes, passez votre chemin. Les plats étaient succulents, très frais, très copieux, préparés avec beaucoup d’application. les desserts étaient à la hauteur des plats. Et mention spéciale pour les frites 😜

30/08/2024: Excellent dîner au Poisson bleu Un vrai bon restaurant bistronomique excellent et accessible Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les plats très bien réalisés avec des produits frais Nous avons partagé avec bonheur avec l’apéritif une salade de poulpe à la provençale qui nous a réconcilié avec le poulpe Le turbo très fin avec une excellente fondue poireaux champignons et un beurre blanc parfait Les ravioles et saint Jacques délicieux Les linguines tellines et gambas plein de saveurs Nous avons cédé aux desserts par pure gourmandise et c’était également très bon Un cadre très agréable en retrait du passage Une très bonne adresse à La Grande Motte

25/01/2025: Je lis les commentaires à croire que les gens ne savent pas ce que c’est un gastro qui est différent d’un resto classique. Certes les quantités sont petites d’où le nom de gastro mais le goût y etait si vous avez très faim allez au buffet personnellement j’ai apprécié et le service très bien J’ai oublié de prendre en photo le soufflé aux Grand Marnier qui était dans excellent

10/01/2025: Nous avons dîné en famille (7 personnes). Très déçus par l'entrée : 4 petites st jacques qui se battent en duel dans l'assiette avec une cuillère de butternut et de la mache pas lavée qui crisse sous la dent... Le pigeon qui soit disant devait être décortiqué et qui ne l'était pas. Pour finir les desserts trop sucrés. Nous nous attendions vraiment à autre chose....Vous avez compris nous ne reviendrons pas.

22/08/2024: Ayant pris la peine de réserver 8 jours avant pour 7 personnes nous avons ete surpris et tres déçus d'apprendre que notre réservation n'avait pas ete enregistrée .. Un accueil tres décevant. Un personnel faisant preuve d'incompétence et de mauvaise foi . Nous sommes allés manger ailleurs ou nous avons eu un accueillis avec le sourire

24/07/2024: A classic town square restaurant - warm and welcoming with an excellent menu. The set menus are excellent - and particularly good value for children. Needless to say Moules Mariere plays a central part. The entrecôte was excellent. Try a glass of the local vin rouge - Clairette D’Adissan. This our second visit over two years - we will return….

27/09/2024: Mediocre, moreover we learned that the farms which supply this restaurant chain are the worst intensive farms from the point of view of animal abuse. One more reason to bless this restaurant of more than doubtful quality.
