15/09/2024: If you like to play 'guess what's on your plate', this restaurant is for you! We asked for a burger without onions…it arrived with onions. No problem, sent back to the kitchen! They kindly scraped the onions off the steak and sent it all back...with a few leftover onions, for the nostalgic side, no doubt. Second attempt? Jackpot! A bonus slice of cheddar and... fresh onions, as if we could never have enough! Fortunately, the waiter was friendly, too bad his colleague didn't take the same communication course.

20/08/2024: We sat outside and ordered coffee. Three different waiters approached us to order. After almost 15 minutes we left without coffee, very bad service.

01/09/2024: Absolutely fantastic meal, I cannot stress enough how tasty everything we ordered was. I tried the camembert to start which simply melted in the mouth, and same goes for the duck thigh. The snails were delicious too, and service was wonderful. Incredible food that makes the restaurant deserve to be packed every night!!

01/09/2024: Excellent location, punctual and kind service, very quick. Simple but tasty dishes, we tried some well-known classics and we were not disappointed, on the contrary: the dishes were well prepared. A bit of a touristy environment but the whole historic center is like that.

16/09/2024: We had dinner there as a couple and it was very good. Small outdoor concert was organized when we passed, nice. Good welcome from the waitress and the boss. 02/09/2024: We ate great 2 years ago, yesterday we wanted to go back, frozen cold and 4 young people without any respect for customers and a non-existent boss, went to the city you would be better served at Oscar and Suzette for not more expensive on the banks of the Loire and friendly setting

13/09/2024: Un endroit romantique à souhait. Une cuisine de qualité et des desserts délicieux qui revisitent les standards avec brio. La présentation des plats est à la hauteur du goût. Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux et avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel qui reste courtois malgré l'indelicatesse de certains clients. Le tout pour un prix plus que raisonnable.

12/09/2024: Havre de paix au milieux des jardins, c est vraiment agréable de déjeuner dans cet endroit si élégant. Acceuil professionnel et souriant. Malgré un manque de personnel nous avons été très bien reçu. Pris le brunch ( merci les commentaires des autres internautes 😉) Plateau copieux, avec petit beurre demi sel pour la charcuterie, confiture cerise pour le fromage. Bon rapport qualité/ prix.

22/08/2024: Excellent surprise. Thanks to a closed pizzeria we fell back on this brasserie. And great good has come to us! The formula is generous, original and well mastered. The waitresses are fast and attentive. The addition is within the norm. 4 stars for the atmosphere because the decor lacks charm/warmth, it's not a brasserie decor but is it really a brasserie? It doesn't matter, we come and eat there. It breaks the cliché of the station brasserie serving Tricatel at a high price! Very good for a brewery.

14/08/2024: We booked this brasserie at the last minute while waiting for our next train (2 hours). When we arrived at 9 p.m. on August 14, the room was empty. Our table was waiting for us. The waiter pointed it out to us without taking us there. Brief. We tasted a very good wine, A Chenin. The service was fast and efficient. The dishes are plentiful and good. What we expect from a brewery. What followed was rather deplorable. The waitress sweeping the floor. More than 30 minutes since we finished. No one comes to clean up even though it’s just us. Finally she arrives. We ask for the dessert menu and she tells us that the kitchen closes at 10 p.m. But it's 10:10 p.m. and we've been waiting for 30 minutes. She inquires anyway and comes back offering us only a unique dessert. Nothing serious, just his behavior. We understand that we are disturbing and that we must leave. Of course no one asks us if we want a coffee. So we decide to leave and she drops her mop to go to her computer to add up. What behavior! It is clear that she is not self-employed and that customer satisfaction is not her priority. Too bad for the cook who made an effort.

13/09/2024: Very good food at this Flunch, the dishes were correct and the staff were welcoming. Games for children, space... Only negative point, the chairs! Really not practical to get up with armrests especially when there are strangers next to you...

19/08/2024: Un accueil plutôt réussi, du vrai fait maison : délicieux, nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille, les enfants ont presque fini leurs assiettes (exceptionnel !) Je recommande 👍🏻

01/08/2024: Excellente surprise en sortant du château. Très bon accueil. Nous étions en famille avec un chien. Déjeuner en terrasse. Eau pour notre compagnon sans rien demander. Pâtes maison’à la truffe excellente, très bonnes salades et très bonne pizza. Pâte faites maison, le pain aussi. Desserts au top. Je recommande le tiramisu encore fait maison. Bref, très bonne expérience dans un lieu aussi touristique. Service rapide. Très bon rapport qualité /prix. Adresse à retenir.

20/07/2024: First time I've been disappointed by the Flan. I was served a portion today that was not from today. The flan was very dry. The price was not discount though. The sportsman's bread is also much less garnished than before. In short, completely disappointed with my purchase of the day

09/05/2024: We went there on Ascension Thursday. The setting is magnificent, on the banks of the Loire, there were 9 of us, we were very well placed. The starters and meat dishes (bavette and Burger) are good. Those are the good points, now the negative points: Very long service 1h30 wait between starters and dishes. The dishes arrive in two batches separated by a quarter of an hour. The fish dishes arrive cold and I doubt that they match the menu (the so-called fish from the market looks like frozen cod!!) It's a shame because the place is well located, it would be wise not to work alone, even with the best of wishes we cannot be everywhere (service, bar, cash register, tobacconist and parcel relay) We are at the start of the season, that promises…..

03/09/2024: Well located hotel, close to the castle access. The hotel would have potential, however it is a shame that it remained in its original state with the added bonus of its dust. However, the household linen is impeccable. However, for the price, an industrial breakfast is disappointing!

07/08/2024: Too expensive for boring salads, "handled" by service, water costs extra. And then the toilet is broken and you are first sent to the town hall (public toilet but closed) and then to the neighboring pizzeria. There are certainly better alternatives out there.
