11/08/2024: The restaurateurs are incomparably friendly, and the gentleman who takes care of the service as well, I had a great time with them, the atmosphere that we find in this establishment is rarely found these days in France!
Thank you again for keeping me company for an evening, I hope to have the opportunity to come back to your place!!
By the way, their cuisine with local products is killer...! It’s definitely worth testing!

26/08/2024: Repas infect , frites réchauffées , jus gras , coeur du poulet froid , je déconseille vivement.
Nous ne sommes pourtant vraiment pas difficiles mais ... à fuir.

07/09/2024: First time I went to this store, the concept is very nice, unfortunately the quantity is not up to par with the prices... really a shame, expensive for what it is...
02/09/2024: We chose wraps, the price is affordable and the range of ingredients is more than sufficient. The friendliness of the waiter and his kindness make counter service all the more pleasant. The atmosphere within the restaurant due to the decoration and the lighting is not at its best!

The dishes are tasteless, bordering on cold and not very filling
Half of the desserts are not available
However, if you are a rock fan, the chef will be happy to give you a concert!! Bordering on ridicule and lack of respect for customers on the terrace...
The only positive point: the very pleasant and smiling waitresses, when will they come from the restaurant when they are no longer there?!

03/09/2024: Checkout with a very unpleasant cashier and what's more he passed my purchases by pushing without giving me time to empty my cart and even less time to put away what damaged some of my products. Really very unpleasant for me. I hope I don't have to deal with him anymore. What a pleasure it is to have a smile and to be able to share a few words. Sorry for this unpleasant review because since I have been shopping with you I have always had pleasant cashiers. If this gentleman doesn't like his job, he should change it.

01/12/2024: Les incontournables friandises d’Amboise pour se faire plaisir entre 2 visites : à emporter ou sur place, tout est bon! Le chocolat chaud maison à l’orange, une tuerie! Les oursons en guimauve, les tartelettes, goûtez-tout!

Serveurs souriants, certes, mais pour la patronne, faudra repasser.
30 mn d attente pour se voir servir une quiche à rechauffer et une assiette de fromages. Achat du caramel beurre salé au comptoir. Insipide. Sans saveur
Repassés plus tard car les enfants voulaient une glace. J'avais envie d en manger une mais...pour les adultes....pas de cornet possible !!!! Allez savoir pourquoi... Ca m'a passé l'envie !
Bref...déception.

For the evening with guests and the surprise still frozen.
24/09/2024: Passing by at 6:45 a.m., 15 minutes after opening, I take my coffee and croissant and to my surprise the croissant was really not from the frozen day the day before or I know where they get them from but very disappointed to the quality today I complained to the waiter but he persisted that all their products are fresh

03/10/2024: We booked the hotel based on the official pictures, which do not show the renovation backlog of the last few decades. The hotel needs some investment. But it has a lot of charm and is ok as a stopover (for us towards Spain) and in conjunction with a visit to the Château de Chenonceau, which is just a five-minute walk away. The bathroom is very narrow and the shower (in the bathtub) has no shower curtain, which is why half the bathroom is flooded when showering. The beds were very comfortable. The older lady at the reception was very nice and friendly. Value for money could be better.
We skipped breakfast and instead had a lovely breakfast in a bakery in nearby Bléré.

25/08/2024: We regularly visit this restaurant throughout the year. Saturday August 24, 2024, we were 6 people at the table, and had lunch outside.
It was windy, and a glass of wine was spilled. We were charged 9 euros for this.
The bill came to 310 euros.
We are loyal customers who are very disappointed by this commercial practice.
Until now I left 10 euros for the service, that's it.
In 2022, I left a glowing review, which is a shame.

24/08/2024: I had a salad, €17.50 all the same, and I had a few slices of rillons on a bed of salad, a few slices of unripe tomato and without any taste, because without sauce. The poached egg was not bad.
It's been a long time since I felt like I was being ripped off to this extent! Otherwise very welcome...
19/08/2024: We spent a very pleasant evening in this restaurant. Traditional cuisine of very good quality. Warm welcome and the waiter is attentive and full of kindness. A stop at this friendly restaurant is a must!
