01/09/2024: Quality of food to be reviewed. A not good homemade burger, really mediocre cuisine

17/09/2024: Plus points, they looked after our bikes very well Our room was on the fourth floor and there was no lift. Breakfast was chaotic, no one seemed to be in charge and they kept running out of food. They promised gluten-free food which turned out to be dry crackers.

16/09/2024: Après une longue voyage on arrive à 9h à Tours. Malgré une vague mémoire que la dernière fois que j‘y suis allé il y avait un souci, on choisit „La manufacture“ vu qu‘on a faim et que c‘est déjà tard. On nous place au dernier coin et nous laisse attendre une dizaine de minute avant de nous apporter la carte. Et à partir de ce moment la totalité du personnel nous ignore. J‘essaie plusieurs fois de me faire remarquer - en vain. Après une bonne demi-heure on décide de partir et encore une fois on se fait ignorer complètement. En passant note serveur qui discute tranquillement avec des clients à l‘entrée depuis un bon moment je dis au revoir - il nous regarde même pas. Dans la rue je me souviens finalemet de la dernière fois que j‘y suis allé. Je voulais un verre de Chardonnay et on m‘avait dit que malheureusement ce soir-là il n‘en avait plus. J‘avais donc commandé un autre blanc sec et on m‘avait apporté un moelleux fruité. Quand j‘avais demandé si ce n‘était pas une erreur la serveuse m‘avait assuré que „non, non, un moelleux, c‘est bien un vin sec“. La raison pour laquelle je donne deux étoiles c‘est que je me souviens que les repas était ok - si on a droit a les commander.

04/09/2024: Cette brasserie est bien située en plein centre place plum' . Chouette déco intérieure. J'ai pris un hamburger classique. Les frites étaient froides , le pain du burger très bof et le fromage froid posé sur la viande. Bref c'est une rare fois où je n'avais vraiment pas envie de terminer mon assiette. Nous avons pris une carafe de rosé, en servant les verres, la serveuse a pris les 3 verres en mettant ces doigts dedans. Petite remarque de notre part en lui notifiant que ça ne se faisait pas, sa réponse " j'ai les doigts propres" 😱 heureusement les pizzas sont bonnes ! Malgré tout, ça ne nous a pas donné envie de prendre des desserts. Nous sommes allés au bar pour payer et on nous a dit d'aller nous asseoir et d'attendre que la serveuse vienne nous voir.... en fait personne n'était revenue nous voir à la fin de notre repas.

26/08/2024: The staff is just laughable and smiling everytime I go. The nems and sandwiches are amazing and it’s not expensive compared to nearby similar businesses ☺️

02/09/2024: Nous avons déjeuné au paddock où nous fûmes bien accueilli le service impeccable Les plats camembert rôti et burger chèvre bien garnies deux cafés gourmands. Merci aux serveurs, pour sa gentillesse

11/07/2024: Manger à midi le 11 juillet avec mes collègues , je recommande le paddock accueil toujours souriante service rapide . Les plats bien copieux les desserts rien à dire.

22/08/2024: We have gone to this restaurant two years in a row on our holidays and it is absolutely fantastic. The food is excellent, best in the area. A must visit, Gregory is a very sound man!

15/08/2024: Big disappointment for our lunch in this hostel which is nevertheless listed in the Sésame guide. We waited 1 hour for a bottle of wine so we could toast the appetizers offered. The service was unprofessional and very disappointing. We had to get up to ask for drinks and food, despite the few customers present. The dishes were not very tasty and served in small quantities. The chocolate cake was not one of them. We will not return to this inn which does not offer service and food that matches the prices displayed.

13/12/2024: I came by between noon and two to pick up a package, I was sent *** because the man was in a rush. I work every day until 7 p.m. I will never be able to collect my package. It's shameful, don't relay packages if it's a chore. I do not recommend the welcome, not even a goodbye

02/12/2024: I went to pick up a package, very awkward, stared at from head to toe, asked for a QR code which we didn't receive and returned the packages after 3 days. I don't recommend it at all.

16/09/2024: Excellent food. Good service Well advised on the local Chinon wine. Entrecôte cooked to perfection. Crème Brûlée is why we come to France. Great first night.

29/08/2024: Fuimos un jueves a las 13.40 de la tarde y no nos quisieron dar de comer, la maitre nos miró de arriba a abajo y nos dijo que no había mesa, habiendo mesas libres y siguieron llegando personas y a ellos les dieron de comer. Racistas! 😡

17/09/2024: Friendly staff. Special mention for the crispy Fish&Chips, a real delight, without forgetting the best waffles I have ever eaten.

03/09/2024: Welcome to the top service also very friendly village customers but because there is always a but, the pizzas are ... EXTRAORDINARY...you want to eat a calzone worthy of the name, go there with your eyes closed, when you open them you have a huge delicious pizza. Thank you for the welcome. Back in the region I will return with pleasure.

28/05/2024: It is closed although it says online that it is open. It takes 2 minutes to change the Google setting. But we are traveling with a disabled person and that is very annoying

21/08/2024: Very nice little restaurant. The food is delicious. The boss is pleasant, always there for her customer. Small negative detail, no message on the answering machine during closing days and holidays. I highly recommend.

05/08/2024: Dinner here on a set menu during the festival in Chinon. Limited choice on their set menu, but the food was good. One point off for the prices - one small salad starter, a galette and a crepe were €24 each, which seems steep. Might have been a special price for the festivities though.

07/09/2024: Mycket god pizza och utmärkt vin. Servicen mycket bra. Fina uteplatser på gågatan precis bredvid slottet. Kanske en aning trångt som det kan vara på turistorter.

14/12/2024: This restaurant is to be avoided....more than an hour of waiting to be served an unfortunate burger, which arrives with greasy, barely cooked fries and two salad leaves without a drop of sauce. And same problem at all the other tables, waiting +++ And not even a word to apologize for the wait.
